Testing out Osmumten's Fang and the Dragon Hunter Lance at Vorkath to see which one feels better. Not exactly a guide, but showing tips and tricks I discovered during 100+ Vork kc.

It's a much different feeling not knowing the difference between 2 setups and actually spending the time to test it yourself instead of just blindly following the wiki. It makes me very happy to see that
You can do a simple woox walk with fang if you ctrl click to walk/run. You can walk back 3, then run forward, which will only use 2 ticks (or you can run back 2 and walk back 3). Feels much closer to the lance walk, and only requires 2 clicks instead of the side to side method.

17:40, very late to this and you probably figure this out way late, but with ctrl to run you can go back 3 ticks then ctrl click to only spend 2 ticks moving forward

I've had that SAME THING happen so many times on GIM... if you click same-tick it gets confused and creates 2 instances lol. It is super annoying. Ironically we did it at arma for the diary as well which is hilarious you guys had the same problem :P

For Armadyl, you can take the fletching cape with you for +1 potion and drop trick a couple of your pots across the chasm
When I do vorkath, after each trip I home Tele for the pool, then use the lunar isle portal and bank at birds eye jack, then I get kicked off the island and spawn right next to the dock. Gz on the diaries tho!
Today I learned that the bones are needed for pots too. I also learned today why the pots are so expensive.
This just gave me Deja Vu. Me and my GIM tm8 sent an arma kc for the diary this weekend but were in different instances just like you. Of course you entered on the same tick lmaoo. Hopefully u go back soon and enter on separate ticks :)
Finishing off the boss with the fang even if the hammer did hit is actually the correct thing to do because math. Basically because you can't hit 1-6 its better, and the fact the its max hit is "reduced" from 60-54 isn't a downside if the boss is at less than 54hp.

I didn't know the vorkath head effect in the range cape carries over to the max cape when you max. Thought I'd have to go back to vork when I max lol. Thanks for the tip kip

I've just always done the 1tick wooxwalk back and forth with my fang, why does everyone do it the other way like you were? Am i missing something?
Wouldn’t you still be missing a tick since you’re attacking every 2 ticks and the fang is 5 ticks, so you’d only be hitting every 6?

I got 4 chainbodys before 250 kc lol
After running a few dps calcs, it seems that
1) the Fang is better for your current setup and
2) the better the rest of your gear gets, the better the Lance gets. I'd assume this is because the Lance is a percent based bonus, so it provides more benefit the higher your base accuracy and max hit are.
Edit: Forgot you were using DWH. With one successful spec, the Lance becomes better than Fang, and two hits makes the gap even wider.
