That's the thing, though. Just because something is simple doesn't necessarily mean it's easy. That's why the video had a section about his goals. Keeping the endgame in mind makes it harder to break your good habits.
How any celebrity gets jacked for anything 1) The studio hires the best personal trainer on the planet 2) The studio hires the best dietician on the planet 3) The studio pays the actor millions of dollars to workout and act
I dont believe he's mad. I think he's just saying that the studio make it extremely easy for someone working for them where as the rest of us middle/low class people don't have that luxury.
The only regime you need is 100 push ups, 100 situps, 100 squats, 10km run EVERYDAY, its OK to eat a banana. and remember to turn off the air conditioning to save money.
Have you heard of the grueling hours actors work at times? Before you get up on your soap box and try to make yourself feel better about being a piece of shit, how about just doing a little research and do something yourself. It's not that hard to carve out an hour a day for to do something active if you're trying to get more fit.
@Boner I don't think anyone's denying the hard work, but the guy was literally paid to get in shape before filming... or get fired and sued for NOT getting in shape. His full time job during pre-production was getting fit and ready for the role... that's gonna be quite the incentive! The second part of your comment is on point though, anyone can do the same if they dedicate themselves to it, even with a life full of other responsibilities... but it's gonna take even more effort on their part to get there.
TheMistyBlueLounge Money is a pretty good incentive. Though he probably had other acting gigs during pre-production along with family commitments and whatever BS interviews he was giving that month.
That's possible I donno everything he's been a part of, and yea I'm sure he has a life outside acting and working out too! It's just nice when professional and personal goals line up like that!
Doesnt sound like any kind of major secret except for the motivational aspect. Meaning if someone gave you a trainer and a few million bucks and said to get into shape, then it becomes much more easy to do.
It all depends from where u start ur journey(and he started out as a fat ass with 25%bf+), he said 3-4hours a day which is totally believable since its only around 20hours per week(i myself train as much for years so i know it can be done for average Joe, if u are well paid actor with top personal trainer then its a no brainer- notice i never said easy or easier since its not that ;) U need to remember he didnt only get much leaner but got way more musclemass, that takes lots of effort and time too(can be boosted by PEDs, which is great if u got a target, time limit and lots of money). He looks decent not coz of weight losss only but much better body composition, thats what most ppl forget when they say they wanna lose weight static.wixstatic.com/media/bb05cd_ed4f6dc43cdf4505a11d01a42ace20b8.jpg/v1/fill/w_449,h_319,al_c,q_80,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01/bb05cd_ed4f6dc43cdf4505a11d01a42ace20b8.jpg Even 10 more pounds of muscle combined with 10 less pounds of fat can give amazing results in terms of ur looks.
Actually it all depends on what you do for 5 hours a day. About two and a half hours working out in the morning, run about 2 mi and not 10, and work out another two and a half hours after work, eat sensibly and not try to starve yourself with some kind of vegan diet. You will get buff but not too lean.
Some constructive criticism... I can't bring myself to take the time to go back through the video to count the quotes, but for a 5 minute video there were a lot - end quote. While having your facts is important and makes things a lot more "real", if it distracts from the material you're trying to convey (like it did me) then I would say "less is more" - end quote. :-) I really like your channel and the moderators you have delivering the material.
Actually spirits like gin and vodka will not affect weight gain, and beer can sometimes Aid in muscle growth if Drank in moderation. I think they really meant wine, but even wine gets its sugar from fruit which is pretty much natural. I don't even drink alcohol and I still got a potbelly LOL so I'm not really convinced about alcohol being the cause of weight gain, especially when I have a uncle who is 60 years old and he drinks like a fish but he still ripped like Sylvester Stallone
You are not the only one that likes it, it's just that the douchebags and trolls comment way more than people who like stuff, we just go see the movie.
Society is so confused on female asses. They say they like big butts but not fat butts....I don't know about you but I prefer small and firm....anyways good luck and have a great day.
alcohol doesn't make you fat that's a myth... weight gain is associated with it because people tend to eat more while drinking and crave fat oily foods with larger portions than they're used to
graduated but if you want to be a complete idiot then that's ok then kiddo there's actually never been any scientific evidence directly linking alcohol to weight gain as i said your body craves fatty oily foods when drinking that's why you gain weight some beers only contain as little as 64 calories
So cool to see he is friends with that former navy seal. He was shot so many times his plate carrier was caving into his chest from repeated hits. He also was never religious until after that experience.
What worries me about videos like this is people who believe they can duplicate was Pratt and other stars do. Everyone needs to find the workout that is right for them, try different things, and change your routine every month. What movie stars have is the time to do it, someone footing the bill for a personal trainer, and the time to recover. What normal people have is a little time between work and taking care of their families. So find what works best within those parameters. The other thing that normal people have to realize is that many of these actors - and I don't know if this is true of Pratt - have to get in shape in a very short period of time and end up taking a shot. Check out Athlean x videos for some great workout advice.
Fankas2000 Yes and Lance Armstrong was in an entirely different sport, a long distance, endurance based sport, which isn't conducive to building muscle. Chris Pratt, on the other hand, did bodybuilding style workouts. If he would've went from Christoper Mintz Plaza physique to Guardians physique in 6 months, then it would've made way more sense that steroids were the primary factor in getting him there. Nothing about his physique, when seeing his old physique, screams steroid use though.
at 1:56 the narrator reads everything that is highlighted and says "end quote." but you can clearly see there is more to the quote "...it's a nice social lubricant."

I lost 30lbs in 3 months, to be really honest with you, its not that hard. I overtrained 6-7 of 3 miles running and dieting on 1800 calories. That's all I did and now I'm almost underweight.
4 to 6 workouts a week for 3 to 4 hours of weightlifting, crossfit, mountain biking, p90x and calisthenics? Why you lyin, Chris? lol Dope transformation but i hate when actors exaggerate tf out of their routine. He ate right, trained no more than 90 minutes up to 5 times a week and got sufficient rest. +mark perry oh yeah, they all do a couple of cycles to get jacked quickly for a roll. Brad Pitt did it, for his role in Troy
How any celebrity gets jacked for anything
1) The studio hires the best personal trainer on the planet
2) The studio hires the best dietician on the planet
3) The studio pays the actor millions of dollars to workout and act

are you mad about it?
