      fade2black001 He'd have to be on multiple roid cycles to be huge. Long arms and tall. His biceps inserts end deep under his shoulders and real close to his inner elbow joint. He can't easily get big arms by working out for 6 months. Do research muscle inserts. They make his big biceps look long rather than big. I'm sorry but he's way more than average. A 10%-er in locally dedicated bodybuilders.

      it hurt my brain when he said that, i learnt what creatine was when i was like 14. its not fucking rocket science to google something

    • @angelogreco2179
      @angelogreco2179 7 лет назад +40

      Creatine stimulates muscle growth by increasing torque power so you can do more reps. It helps to recycle ATP by loading your body with Creatine Phosphate. The body uses this storage form to increase ATP production. When this happens, you can increase the number of reputations per set while using the same weight, which increases muscle mass.

    • @flash92gaming
      @flash92gaming 7 лет назад +30

      Angelo Greco is right but the statement made in the video was that creatine enables the body to build muscle past its natural threshold. That is literally the description of steroids, not creatine. The statement is also BS because creatine is created naturally in your body in low amounts anyway so how can using something that you already have inside enable to go past your genetic threshold? The narrator got the description of creatine and steroids mixed up. Although I do think it is possible to look like Hugh Jackman if you train that hard for that many years and manage to be so strict with your diet, provide that you have good enough genetics (just my opinion, I am an athletic person, not bodybuilder anyway).

    • @MiggsMultiple
      @MiggsMultiple 7 лет назад +13

      "The statement is also BS because creatine is created naturally in your body in low amounts anyway so how can using something that you already have inside enable to go past your genetic threshold?"
      That's like saying the body creates it's own testosterone naturally so how can adding more of it enable to go past your genetic threshold...

    • @flash92gaming
      @flash92gaming 7 лет назад +1

      Creatine supplements do not altered your body's hormones that significantly though. It gives you more energy as a pre workout, but does not significantly alter your bodily functions on a hormonal level as far as I know :/
      I must admit I only know these from a friend who studied sports science and he could've been well wrong for all I know (he would share his knowledge when we went to the gym from time to time). I do not know the effects at first hand as I do not use any supplements (except whey protein rarely) because I am not bothered too much about growing muscles, mostly trying to get a lean physique and perform in muay thai and stuff like that.

    I love Hugh and totally respect how he has transformed his body by training hard and smart (maybe with some synthetic help, maybe not) and the discipline involved but with regards to the motivation to stay in shape, How does 25 million plus per movie sound? I would live in the gym 24/7 for 6 months for that never mind 4 hours per day.

  • @joepratt9194
    @joepratt9194 7 лет назад +250

    Creatine and fan support is how he does it...not HGH / Tren and Money. Sure man, sure.

    • @Watcher4187
      @Watcher4187 7 лет назад +25

      Yeah, I got a good lol at “Oh, creatine is the reason.” Literally every bro at the gym is on creatine. It’s possibly the most studied exercise supplement in the world and in no way is it a steroid. You can buy that stuff in bulk at Costco or get it in your system by eating red meat. It allows your muscles to hold more water/nutrients so you can go slightly harder/longer at the gym. It’s really not a make or break supplement and in no way is it going to give you bulging muscles or a six pack.
      Fact is, he got how he is with hard work and a good diet. Literally anyone can do it if they take the time to lift heavy weight 4-5 times a week for 2-5 years and eat a healthy diet.

    • @christophercrawford2736
      @christophercrawford2736 7 лет назад

      Adam Bean creating allows your muscles to hold onto more water, making them look bigger.

    • @Tsiribreezes
      @Tsiribreezes 7 лет назад +2

      +Adam Bean How do you even know that he's not taking steroids anyway, are you spying on him ? lol. And let's not forget the fact that he is rich so that means he can afford his own trainers and cooks... Also, you best believe that if your job is on the line and your body is your brand then you will take steroids ! But I agree with you on the last part, if you lift heavy for 2-5 years and eat a healthy diet you will achieve a great physique however I think that most celebrities are taking steroids and is harder for us the average guys... Not that anyone who's taking steroids is not putting hard work and I don't mind if you do, I'm just saying that it is more difficult for natural lifters and going to the gym doesn't work like magic.

    • @Watcher4187
      @Watcher4187 7 лет назад +4

      Well, I'm not saying he didn't/doesn't take steroids and I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't take something at one point in his life. I'm just saying that it is absolutely absurd to say that creatine is the reason for him looking the way he does.
      In terms of body image, I like to stick to the positive route and tell people that yes, you too can look like that if you eat right and train 4-5 days a week. Jackman's not even that huge. He's like 200 pounds at 6 feet tall. His body is very achievable to a normal person if they eat right and lift heavy for 2-5 years. You just have to build some muscle and then go on a diet till you get to a low enough body fat level to get your abs showing. It's hard but it's not impossible without drugs.

    Anyone can get ripped by working out and knowing how to diet (bulk, cut, maintain), it looks unachievable, but this is because he has to get a ripped physique in very few weeks, that's why he needs to work out almost every day twice a day and eat like a fucking dinosaur. But you can easily get his physique at a normal pace (of course it will take much longer) but it's completely achievable

    I'm glad he admits two things openly. One - he doesn't "enjoy" the punishing workout. It's his job to be at his most ripped and look the part while playing a superhero. But cutting down liquid intake, pumping iron between late night shoots, repeated takes of choreographed action with all that extra bulk, and a body in constant state of muscle tear and recovery isn't fun. He gets massive headaches, and is almost always sore. But that's what he gets paid to do. Second - diet, is always more than half the battle of getting a remarkable physique.

      When an actor such as Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Hemsworth, etc fluctuates 20-30 pounds in the offseason then they are juicing. Sorry to break your heart.

    I've used diet supplements including creatine when I was in my late teens. I never got ripped, then again it wasn't really my intention either. My aim was to see what I could do with low-medium effort while studying. I did get a lot stronger though. Some of my classmates started to get intimidated when we were playing sports since I was already 2-3 inches taller than any of them(I'm 6'5"). After sports we went down to the dorm and smoked some water pipe, played some poker and some video games, no hard feelings :)
    I benched 240lbs and could run a half marathon in 1 hour 43 mins.

    each movie Hugh is in has an average budget of 100 million dollars, if you think the producers didn't get a few thousands for high quality steroids, you're out of your mind. he was definitely natural until X3, but after that there's just no way he got that big naturally, specially when you're pushing 50

    • @mydogjesus
      @mydogjesus 6 лет назад +8

      I thumbed your comment up, BUT---he was only natural in the first film. then when he saw himself on screen (as I heard him say himself.) he was a little ashamed of the poor shape he was in compared to other guys like stallone... so.... he obviously started his first small cycle for the next film. the reason you notice such a vast difference towards the end of the x-men films is because he added more substances each cycle.

You do not have the faintest clue what you are talking about, and you do a DIS-service to people by spewing stupidity. Jackman runs cycles during movie filming. (any fool can see that) He used a considerable amount for the scene where he ripped the tiny robot from his heart and then fought the samurai. That is a man who is running bodybuilding cycles. Don't discuss what you don't understand. test cyp, deca, clen... etc... were what he used, not 'creatine'...and btw--- the idea promoted by the host, that 'creatine' made Jackman look that way is so utterly absurd it is sickening. That sort of journalism is irresponsible, untrue, and downright immoral. Research the truth and tell it... otherwise, just say you love his body and leave it at that. But don't tell people he got that way with 'creatine'. (rolls eyes)

    It's absolutely ridiculous to think anyone without steroids can do what
    Hugh Jackman does. He brags about putting on 25 lbs of muscle in just a
    few months. A natural lifter with a perfect diet and program will gain
    1-2 lbs a month, not 5+. A natural lifter can gain about 25 lbs in a
    LIFETIME of lifting, while Jackman does it in just a few months in his
    late 40's. Anyone who thinks Jackman isn't on an assload of steroids
    when bulking is naive or just plain ignorant of how many biology works.

      +Gneiss Geologist Sorry to say this dude but when you said the word " genetic advantage " I thought to myself what a bunch of bullshit this guy spreads... There's no such thing as genetic advantage, there's only working out and not working out ! Everything else is just excuses that people use so they can feel comfortable if they are not putting the hard work or they don't see the results they expect. Why should he be natural though ? He has the money so I would say that he is probably not natural, what is it to you ? And by all means, I'm not saying that he is not putting the hard work, I'm just saying that he is likely using steroids but so what ? Good for him and I would appreciate it more if most of these " natural " bodybuilders would admit that they take steroids and not hide it because they are greedy and selfish... So do me a favor and stop spreading bullshit, just because you like to delude yourself with the excuse of genetic advantage that doesn't mean that you have to put other people down !

      It sounds strange, but when I think of this, I think of Deadpool in the Wolverine movie. At that phase of Wade Wilsons career, he had attained the greatest level of physical perfection possible without mutation. The ceiling of peak performance.
      Ultimately, thats what the essence of physical transformation is, from beginning to end. *Where is your ceiling?* That ceiling will be defined by what it is you want to achieve. Its a personal cultivation, it has nothing to with the achievements or capabilities of other people. That said, if you choose to use PED's to push past that ceiling, there is a price to pay.
