New Fuel Pump Module Assembly from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1AFPU00384
This video shows you how to install a fuel pump module assembly on your 2002-2008 Dodge Ram 1500. Combustion engines need three things to operate: fuel, air, and spark. If your fuel pump isn’t delivering the fuel your engine needs, it will run poorly, or not at all. Or, the pump is fine, but your fuel gauge isn’t working. Many modern pumps include an integrated sending unit. Either way, a new engineered to fit fuel pump for TRQ is just what you need.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
    2002 Dodge Ram 1500
    2003 Dodge Ram 1500
    2004 Dodge Ram 1500
    2005 Dodge Ram 1500
    2006 Dodge Ram 1500
    2007 Dodge Ram 1500
    2008 Dodge Ram 1500
    Tools you will need:
    • 10mm Wrench 1aau.to/oSv/1AXAA00010
    • 15mm Socket 1aau.to/obj4/1AXAA00015
    • 7mm Socket 1aau.to/oa2y/1AXAA00017

I am about to do this job on a 2005 Ram 1500. In preparation, and to avoid any gotchas, I went to RUclips. Your video is by far the best I have found. Most are unedited, shaky cell phone video that is just nauseating to watch. THANK YOU !!! so much for producing a quality video of this procedure.

I’m the best at mechanics but you guys helped me change my fuel pump with my own two hands! Thank you guys so much!
I went with the route of taking the 6 truck bed bolts off and lifted up the bed and crawled in there but no matter what, my truck is running again!

As always, great video. At 210k miles, my 2007 Ram 1500 HEMI's fuel pump finally gave out. Thanks for this great video helping me navigate all of the challenges that I did not expect. Note, our tanks are not the same. :D

I recently did this on my 05 ram 1500 and I found removing the driveline made it a LOT easier since I don’t own a car hoist. Using jack stands and a floor jack it went well. I did buy the adjustable equalizing bar for my floor jack from Harbor Freight so I had a lifting pad under each half of the fuel tank.
By removing the driveline it gave me the chance to replace the rear Transfer Case output seal after draining the oil. Once all done I put new oil in my Transfer Case. I was shocked that it only holds approx 9 pints of oil though.

Thanks for showing me how to undo the fuel line clip. I took a long time on it just to make sure it didn't break.

Thanks for the video and advice. You were the only video I could find that actually took the time to show the fuel line fitting connection to the fuel pump and what happened after the fuel line tool wouldn't work and it took the small screwdriver 🪛 to get it to release. Happened to be what I am trying to get released and it was helpful for me and getting mine done 👍

I am doing this on my 2005 Ram 1500 today. I have the tank out, but my locking collar looks like it is rusted to pieces. I guessed that it would need to be replaced so I ordered a new one, but looking at your video, most of mine seems to be turned to rust. I have been working at it in hopes of knocking rust loose so I can set the tabs that I need to get at to get it to move. I am not sure many of them are left. It is cold, so I needed to come in and let my hands warm up before continuing.

Great job explaining the procedure. Personally think I'm going to have dealer do it and pay big bucks. I have no real way of utilizing a lift or tank support jack. Thanks a bunch, most appreciated.

Thanks for the video, as always is very well done and instructional. I have a question though, Why is necessary to disconnect both battery ends? why not only the negative?

Have a question. I hope you can answer what is the thing next to the fuel pump with other hoses connected to it? I have a small evap leak on my 05 and I did a smoke test and it's leaking there.

Idk but I bought a fuel pump for my 2004 ram 2500 5.7 and it looks like this video, but the one on my truck looks different has a metal fuel filter on top and the parts store doesn't have the one like the one I see on my truck. Will it fit?

Great video, I do question why you are repairing a truck with a massive hole rotted in the frame.

Do you assume that everyone has a vehicle lift. These videos are for backyard/home mechanics.

Do you think I could do this by pulling the bed instead of putting the truck on a hydraulic lift?

Wouldn’t of even wasted the money on a fuel pump for that truck with that frame rotted out like that
