This person is so amazing and inspiring. Even though such terrible things happen to him, even though he goes through an injustice hell, he doesn't yell or complain on camera, he still shows how much he loves his fans and he express his feeling by such a beautiful way. @@kennedypage9128 First of all Johnny Depp is not an absentee father, secondly he stopped abusing drugs as long as he was in a relationship with Vanessa and started them again with Amber (coincidence? I don't think so). Also I remind you that even multimillionaires who play in novelty cover bands, become absentee fathers, abuse drugs and go from one codependent relationship to another are still human beings and no living being should be treated as Johnny Depp got from Amber.
If you think that someone stops being a human just because they have money then something goes wrong with you. Johnny has done many mistakes in his life, mistakes that he never tried to hide, but he has done so much good in so many peoples' lives. You could at least acknowledge him that.
And last but not least if you think that there is any Hollywood personality who has never abuse drugs then you probably live in Mars and not Earth

You’re absolutely right! Also, look at the people who supported him throughout those tumultuous 6 years. The majority of them are musicians. Although people in Hollywood did support him, mostly musicians supported him and allowed him to collaborate with them and continue working. During that time he still made movies but most of those films didn’t make it to cinemas. This is something I just realised today. The music community, particularly rock n roll, they’re a tight community and support one another.

This song and Isolation proves what a winning team Johnny Depp and Jeff Beck. This establishes him as a Rock lead who can stand on his own. Great tune for these times John Lennon was truly a visionary and Depp is carrying that message forward with his intelligent arrangement and rendering of this tune. It's as if the song was written for him. He and Beck sound great. Wonderful song.

Yes they are a great duo and it is nice that their first two singles are both John Lennon. I think he would be happy,, in particular him singing this one which is so apt for Johnny, It is powerful because of what it represents for Johnny and his supporters.
Johnny really suits these two songs this and Isolation and it is so good hearing Jeff's fantastic playing. They said they have a few in the works so I cannot wait to hear what is next. Johnny seems to be improving the more he sings and another string to his bow, late in the game. Somehow Johnny looks more relaxed doing his music than his other career. It is just until Alice persuaded him he was not a singer. So I am really pleased he has found this new string to his bow. He has been through a lot.
