You should stick with, old songs, traditional folk music and new songs that compliment those styles. With so much "change," going on, groups like yours could be instrumental in preserving our history and heritage. Auld Lang Syne is an eternal tune and will never become outdated. Bravo 👏, you guys are top notch.

My grandmother passed away last December. She was not Scotish herself, but her granddaughter (me) was born in Scotland and she had held an affinity with it ever since. She wanted Scotish music for her service, but due to the service-providers we couldn't. Her ashes will be scattered tomorrow, at the place where she was most happy. I won't be able to be there, but I suggested to my family to play a nice version of Auld Lang Syne. My dad asked me if I could find a nice and appropriate version. This rendition made me cry. It is gorgeous. Thank you for making me feel I could be part of her send off.

The end of 2023 marked the end of the first full calendar year without my son's presence in this earthly world. When the clock struck midnight, I stood on the walkway in front of my house under the giant old maple trees, and listened to this play quietly as revelers throughout the valley set off fireworks in the distance, and a soft, light snow began to fall.

Andre Hazes - Wij Houden Van Oranje
      Samen zijn we sterk
      Eendracht maakt machtig
Hoe een klein land groot kan zijn
      Is dat niet prachtig
      refr.:
      Nederland Oh Nederland
      Jij bent een kampioen
      Wij houden van Oranje
Om zijn daden en zijn doen
Straks als het rood wit blauw
      Voor ons wordt gehesen
Dan zijn wij een groot gezin
      Met goud zijn wij geprezen
      refr.
      Nederland Oh Nederland
      Jij bent een kampioen
      Wij houden van Oranje
Om zijn daden en zijn doen
      Van de tribunes
      Klinkt het Wilhelmus
      Nu nog mooier dan voorheen
      Ach wie laat geen tranen

2022 has been a horrible year for me. I quarrelled with my friends, all my family members and relatives due to current social issues and mandates. I sense isolation and powerlessness when I reconsider my career path development. Most importantly, the vaccine mandates are recalling my past traumas on startup failures, broke-ups and ..bullying. Current ease of covid restrictions cancels my isolation. And recognition among my colleagues about my work and contribution reassure myself suitable in IT industry.
Your choir song 'Auld Lang Syne' revitalises me and recalls my life going to worships and churches, and most importantly the faith to Jehovah upon the darkest hours. under the gentle guidance and amazing grace of God, I am determined to make 2023 better. As I’m listening to this, I feel peace and hope for the new year and reap what my sow by my flowing tears and continual conviction or belief to Jesus Christ.
