Since the weather is getting better I think it's time for some Iced coffee. That is going to be my favorite Freddo! But how much do you know about Freddo? Let me tell you a few things about it first and then I'll explain all the tips!
Greece as a Mediterranean country is sunny most days of the year, so the population enjoys iced coffee beverages all year round. Me too!
The birth of Freddo happened in the 90s and it was a revolution. In a few years, it outgrew [the] Frappe. Today is the most popular iced coffee in Greece! The preparation is similar to Frappe - replacing the instant coffee with a double espresso.
Freddos come in two variations: the Freddo espresso and Freddo cappuccino.
How to Make Freddo Espresso:
Prepare 2 shots of espresso.
Add sugar into the hot espresso mix if you wish and stir well.
Add ice cubes in a tall Freddo Espresso glass
With an eclectic blender mix the espresso mix with one or two ice cubes
And add the mixture into the tall glass with ice.
Enjoy!.
How to Make Freddo Cappuccino:
Place 100ml of fresh milk into the blender and shake until you see dense foam.
Prepare 2 shots of espresso.
Add sugar into the hot espresso mix if you wish and stir well.
Add ice cubes in a tall Freddo Espresso glass
With an eclectic blender mix the espresso mix with one or two ice cubes
And add the mixture into the tall glass with ice.
And top it with the cream you have already prepared.
