I really like this video!
Really good information and clearly spoken and slow enough that I was able to follow.
I wish all tech channels would use this approach - as I´m mostly lost in translation and much too fast approach.
I´m just a "dummy" !
If I wasn´t , I would not need any advise 😆
I'm glad you liked the video)
nice video great guide and will give it a try and run from usb stick
Thanks buddy for the video
You are welcome)
ur videos are very simple to undrestand thank you...with the partitioning, what will you do if you have an ssd?? will u still need to partition it?
its the same
Everything is similar there
Very god tutorial my friend. I'm looking forward on your next video
Thank you my friend)
Hey i have 2 hard disk bro and the thing is i got 1 ssd and 1 hdd my hdd have 3 partition full of data and ssd is empty so i will ofc install windows on ssd but does it gonna wipe my hdd also?
Nice job!!!
What about having all the game librairies managed by a regular pc for security and update (on a limited internet connection). Can you show how to connect this portable OS to an existing network drive and get all the gaming power when needed?
I was thinking about steam installed on the same portable drive and the librairy on the Main PC or network drive.
Instant gaming experience right there
Thanks, I'll have to try it, it's hard to say yet)
does it work with LTSC 21h2?
Any chance you can make a guide how to make an external USB/SSD boot of Atlas but using a Linux distro to do it? I'm using Linux Mint and I'd REALLY like to have an external-bootable version of a windows environment, but Rufus will simply NOT run properly in Linux (even through Wine), it doesn't recognise any USB storage, and there's no directly comparable alternative for Linux that I can find (Ventoy doesn't do the same thing, it just makes a boot USB). Tried WinToUSB, same problem. Won't run properly in Linux.
Hello, for the beginning, I'll figure out for myself how to do it on Linux, because I'm not a Linux user.
As soon as I know something, I will reply here.
Good day!
Wow! This was stupendous. But then can you clone back the same OS from the pendrive back on to another PC?
I think it is possible)
After all, the process is the same.
The program is quite useful for cloning.
While I was making the video I looked at over 20 programs and all of them were not free.
Good to hear your thoughts on this. I'll stick with Tiny11 though. I'm not throwing shade on Atlas OS, if it works for people and they like it, I think they should use it. For me, I got better fps in games with Tiny11, than with Atlas OS. Sure, it was only about a 2-5fps difference depending on the game. But anyway. Great video as always.
Do u use tiny 11 on ur main laptop/pc or on virtual machine?? Bcos I heard those type of OS do not need to be used on ur main laptop/pcs
@@pappywan2285 I use it on one of my gaming pcs as the main OS.
Thank you, of course let everyone choose what he likes more.
For example, I use Windows 10)
u use the old iso version of atlas or the new one?
can you use this on a normal laptop or desktop u use at home, or a virtual machine??
Yes of course.
I can't say about the virtual machine because I haven't checked
can I install windows 10 pro, using rufus then clicking windows to go , then install ame wizard and atlas playbook, ? I would like to try this but not overwrite my HDD ?
I tried to do it)
Nothing came of it, because everything was stuck for hours.
Hmm it does not seem to work in the uk
how is the drivers when plug it into another pc or laptop?
I tried connecting and everything seemed to work fine, but of course, this is a good question.
In the device manager, the graphics driver was not detected (this is when I connected to another laptop).
You can try not to install the driver for the GPU and disable automatic driver updates in the Windows settings (so you can minimize future problems)
@@AndriyTech ok thank you so much..😁😁🥰🥰
I saw that u decided to view AtlasOS finally
Yep)
can you put atlas os on a usb stick whit ventoy??
No, because for this you need an ISO file.
The fact is that windows has partitions, and when you copy files to a flash drive, you do not copy partitions.
What about hardware driver?
It is better to disable the automatic installation of drivers if you will use the flash drive on different PCs
I wanted to do it until 8:29, not sure its safe to delete disk partition
It is necessary to delete all partitions, because we are installing a new OS and remove all components of the old one.
@@AndriyTech oh ok i understand but I thought it was the flash drive it was gonna be installed on
@@AndriyTech i would want it to experiment on games...but not sure if am ready to give up windows 10
@@AndriyTech thank you it's a really great video
@@tahjae3962 you are welcome)
it was one of the fastest os in the iso version, i wonder whats the performance now, it needs some benchmarks
Of course, it is quite optimized.
I will try to do more tests.
@@AndriyTech do I have to delete windows partition ?
@@tahjae3962 Yes, but all information will be deleted.
Mine says the download timed out for some reason
Have you tried using a different browser?
Mine says that i does not work at this time because apparently im banned from using it
Not becuase of permission but microsoft is stopping me from installing windows 10 to my usb drive
Im stuck in reticuling splinnes
Me too 😢
Windows Defender Will Work Or Not ????
Short answer: No.
Typically Atlas OS is design for gaming, so no.
