Two things: Microsoft Licence and Updates:
Re: Licences:
I can not comment on Microsoft Licenses and how this impacts you. There are way too many variables and too many individual use cases.
I installed this on a new machine and it picked up some strange version of Windows.
I installed this in a VM and it was another.
Same ISO file!
I can tell that when you install Tiny 11 it technically has Win 11 Pro - but this changes when you log into your Microsoft account and depends on what you actually own and and and and.
Do with this info as you will.
Re: the Updates - so far I have had several Win 11 updates with no issues. It didn't bring back all the bloatware. Security updates also work fine.
Hey Liron give ventoy; ventoy2disk formats the drive to appropriate settings then simply drag and drop to the larger drive or right click on the iso send to the appropriate drive
I've noticed they will try to force you to sign in using a Microsoft account... I noticed it this morning when I turned on my computer. Somehow I avoid it to update the program...
Your very OLD computer..... and you can boot from a USB????? Really? most have an old legacy installation BIOS which do not allow this!!!
Liron, there can never be enough times (and I am sure I speak for everyone) that we can THANK YOU for all this GREAT INFO.
Really appreciate you being here 🔥
I always seem to find the most usefull information watching your videos....I have an older PC that I am going to try this on....Outstanding work Mr.Segev! Thank you.
In case you want to make your own Tiny11 for extra safety, the creator NTDEV has a RUclips video where he shows the process step by step. 👍
Professor Segev … I love it. You continue to instruct us while illuminating our inner IT psych. Thank you so much!
brought my 10 year old laptop back to life.. even though i have 12gig of ram i could not qualify for windows 11 upgrade. this tiny11 was a great suprice. stripped down and clean. smooth running.
Thanks Liron, I just finished installing the full Bloatware version of Windows 10 as a VM. While doing the updates I watched this video. Gonna install this instead and see how it runs on alot less resources.
Thank you!
that's amazing cheers for tiny 11 and tiny 10, what i have always dreamed of
All I can say is "It makes sense" that it would work. Nicely done.
This not only awsome but very well timed. I've been trying to get a GNOME BOX instance of Windows running on my Chromebook and these were small enough to do just that.
Liron, I really enjoy the videos, I have learned quite a bit! keep it coming!
Glad to hear it!
TOO COOL ‼️ Thanks for sharing.
Thanks again neighbor for a great tip. I really appreciate what you do!!
Glad to help
2:05 - You can boot into a virtual hard drive (VHD file). You can install tiny 10 (or 11) into a VHD, then dual boot. Its a bit like dual booting, but less destructive. There is a program called virtual BCD Edit which edits the boot file Win 10 uses (as the main HDD is still booted from). This is a great way to load multiple operating systems easily - Windows Server, different copy of Win 10 for trying out programs, etc. They're all independent and don't hurt each other. Cool feature.
Hi can you tell how to do that step by step please?
Ya meant Visual BCD Editor, right? 🤔
@@msh6610 ; Aah yes, thats the one. I was dragging the name out of the depths of my memory...
@@chrisjlocke Excellent 👌 I'll give it a try 👍
Great video.
Lots of thanks for sharing your expertise.

Microsoft Edge: "What is my purpose?"
Rick: "You help me install Chrome."
ME: "Oh my God!"
Hahahaha! That truly made me LOL!
100% of the time
Edge is way better than chrome
Thanks a lot for sharing. I installed xubuntu and mint on an old laptop, but still wanted the ubiquitous windows on it. This solved the problem!
Thank you for reminding viewers to be cautious when downloading customized versions of Windows. This does look interesting.
Fantastic! Thanks
Wow, very nice ! Thank's bro ! I'm happy to be subscribed to your channel where i can find usefull informations. Thumb's up ! 🙂
Awesome, thank you!
Thank you Liron
In normally use a debloater running through PowerShell, I'll definitely giving this a try though, thanks man 👍
Finally got round to trying Tiny Win 11 using NTDEV via your video on my daughters 10 yr old laptop. Worked like a dream, and net access using Firefox is so much faster! Saves me from buying a new laptop !! Thanks Liron !!
Epic. Just make sure you have a good anti virus like Trend Micro
I have a small Lenovo workstation that I installed a scene release of Windows 10 on. It's powered by a Core i5-2400 with 8GB DDR3 (1333mhz lol). It's the Phoenix Lite10 OS.
Works like a charm and we use that small pc in our bedroom watching Netflix and other streaming services. It's activated with a legitimate W10 key (which you can buy anywahere for under a dollar), so no harm done there. Oh, and it's fully updated as well.
Thanks buddy for speeding up our computer❤❤❤.
Wow, i may just do this on my new pc. Ive always wanted to remove the bloatware, so this is great! Thank you!!!!!
You are welcome!
Excellent.
Well done!
Just a heads up, installing Window's Feature Updates may very well revert this build back to a full Windows install with all the bloatware you don't want.
but is there even a way to stop windows update? I have disable from services and gpedit and it still showing up
@@hakimhomecent1619 you can stop feature updates, but you should keep security updates enabled.
actually it doesn't. I have the latest updates running and it didn't bring back onedrive, teams or anything else. Security updates are downloading with no problem too. So far so good.
Actually it happened to me after 1 week! reinstalled it again and deleted update orchestrator service and boom never happened again!
I guess it depends where are you from or regional settings.
@Liron Segev I notice you haven't addressed any of the registration key queries, although others have. I would like your comments on this if you don't mind. Will the registration key be automatically accessed in the bios upon installation on an old Windows 10 notebook?
Does this OS require a Windows KEY?
Hi Liron. I can't get the audio working on this video. Always appreciate your videos. Please, keep them coming. Cheers.
seems fine for everyone else so I don't know?
Oooh nice. I have an old laptop, I want to say 10+ years old that I barely do anything with. It has an SSD, 6gb ram, win 10, i3 processor but it runs so slow. Even after having the new SSD and operating system installed it's slow. I'll give this a whirl. I could use it for media hooked up to a TV or something simple. Thanks.
good work mate.
Thanks 👍
Wow Thank you
You could try installing Linux on your old computer.
They have some lightweight versions for old or low power computers.
The problem is, some of us need Windows programs and not everything is available to turn on Linux.
Excellent option for virtual machines.
Nice one Liron, can you tell me the advantage of Tiny11 over Tiny10
Hi Liron! Would this help my corrupted install of windows 10. I had an inopportune power outage. BTW LOVE your channel!😊
Tiny Tim? Oooh, Tiny Ten! 🙂
Tip toe through the tulips. 🌷
Thiis is EXACTLY what we need to ensure the kids' laptops are good to go for a couple extra years of high school. Thanks, mate! You have saved this Dad thou$ands!
Hey really cool trick, I have a laptop that was made with windows 8 in mind but has windows 10 installed on it, I can generally do my schoolwork, video editing and play a few games on low graphics settings, would this help increase all of these things you mentioned about gaming, so would this make it a bit easier to run slightly higher graphic settings?
Generally speaking the answer is yes. When disabling, turning of or outright removing stuff that's not used, it allows the device and associated programs/apps to run more efficiently.
However, keep in mind that programs/apps are designed with the assumption that your device has the necessary operating system things installed to run them. If a 'lite' version of the OS is installed, some programs, may or may not continue to work properly.
That's so cool, I want to try this :O
Wow windows like it use to be Thank You Liron
Exactly
Liron, thank you for all your great videos! I want to get this tinyWin11 but I need to use my Vegas Movie Studio 10, which I do on my Win7 PC. Would I be able to continue using my Vegas program if I install tinyWin11 on my Win7 PC?
I saw this advertised before but like you said, " too good to...". Now that you show it I will give it a try. One question with this delete any files that are previously stored on the computer in the old operating system?
Looks like I am not alone in appreciating this video 👍 # 568
Stay well, Joe Z
@@fvefve12 Thank you, just wanted to make sure.
My suggestion would be to install you preferred flavor of linux on an old pc . There are very light distributions that make your pc fly.
why do Linux people think Linux is the solution for everything? There is a reason the Linux desktop market is not even 1%. It amazing for servers/ security but for the avg person, it is painful.
@@LironSegev You are making a lot of assumptions , i am not a linux ppl and i never said linux is the answer to everything. I just said linux can perform great on old pcs which it does. btw my main pc runs w10 . Also in recent years a lot has been done to make linux more user friendly some even mimick a windows look and feel to help new users. I'm sure your your tip on tiny10 and tiny11 may also help a lot of users , struggling with bloated windows.
I'm on my third generation of Ubuntu on this low end PC (dual core, 4GB ram, 500GB HDD). Ubuntu found drivers for my display, keyboard/mouse, two optical drives, card reader & scanner, I was impressed. Ubuntu does everything I need: Libre for office work, Asunder for CD ripping & a document scanner. Version 20.04 is certainly slower than my original 16.04 but fast enough. SW updates occur weekly and painlessly. I'm staying with Ubuntu.
You never fail to surprise !
I only wonder if this version of Win 11 will never be updated to the new cumulative versions that release every month ?
it has had several updates - no issues and no bloatware returns. So far
@@LironSegev thank you, Mr. Liron
Magical video.
This is VERY interesting!👀😱🤯🏆
Awesome video!!
I think I'll try this on my relatively new computer (2 years old, currently running Win 10).
BTW, I read through the comments & replies, so am now aware that security updates are not a problem. However, I have one question: Will MS Office (.docx, .ppt, .xls etc) run smoothly on this? Can it even be installed?
You shouldn't have any problems of that nature whatsoever. I've been stripping stock Windows for a long while now using various methods, and doing these sorts of alterations doesn't affect how Windows actually runs your software...other than speeding it up. I've never had a problem anyway. Have fun!
@@k.b.tidwell OK. Thanks!
Hi, I have an old mini laptop with an Atom process. I decided to use the TIny 10 B2. I downloaded Rufus and the ISO, no problem until, after the ISO was created on the USB, NORTON THREW UP, "TROJAN BLOCKED", so be careful out there and make sure your Anti VIrus is up to date.
wait your using norton antivirus? well thats your problem right there. i suggest find a better antivirus.
@@cptrush3671
I also have Kaspersky but I keep hearing not to use it. Kinda confusing there days.
@@merlin3853 ESET and Panda Dome are better options then Kaspersky and Norton.
Hi Liron, Have you tried Ghost Spectre?
Liron, great video! Are Tiny 10 or 11 64 bit operating systems and do they support the use of multiple monitors? Thanks.
Confirmed at least 11 does.
Since this is a cropped down version, do you need to hunt down device drivers one by one?
Hey Liron, Do you know if programs like photoshop or lightroom will run on Tiny?
4:55 - curl should be installed. Enough to download Firefox setup file... or at least Chocolatey.
Thank you Liron by the way will this allow me tondienload and use Microsoft office 365 word and PowerPoint ?
Eso es Todo mi Liron / That's what i'm Talking 'bout my Liron 👍
Awesome!
Thanks!
Liron your a genius,my "old" lap tops are or were gathering dust now they are working, although I am not sure what they will be working on, but they work and were ready for the basement scrap heap. So rescued laptops that the grandchildren can happily wreck and no extra cost unlike others who promised and delivered like ex-boyfriends a million year ago.
Loving your work Liron your making me look "tech savvy". Best wishes from a positively warm but gloomy London for now.
Hi Liron, thanks for sharing this Tiny thing.
I've installed Tiny11 and overall it works properly. Just one small think related to Edge browser. Somehow the one that I installed from win store does not have Internet Explorer Mode. I have tried many advice available but none solves the issue. That makes my kid can't play Roblox since it always asking for internet explorer 6.0 or greater
Would need your kind advice. Thank you.
Baie dankie Liron!! Wag al lank vir so iets om op my dogter se laptop te sit🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
I will try this on my 17-yr old Toshiba laptop, currently running XP.
Does the new Tiny11 installation overwrite the earlier full version OS? Or is the full version left intact to boot into as and when needed?
Do you have a video to , Connect hard drive to the Internet modem USB / SATA so I can use it like a cloud to store photos
I've been in IT line for a long time but never heard of Tiny 10 or Tiny 11...this is the 1st time I heard that...
ok lets stop right here at 49 seconds, you seem so excited, I have to be excited too !
I'm afraid if I continue watching I might be disappointed, soooo I just going to pause here for a minute while I eat my supper and enjoy the moment :)
Well it was worth the wait, I love doing stuff like this !!!
how was supper? 😜
Do you need the windows key registration with this os
i need this for my kitchen old windows 8 touchscreen. i use it for RUclips recipes and watching my shows while cooking and washing dishes
What kind of partition style did you use?
Cool!
I attempted to install Tiny11 on an "OLD" laptop, that's running Windows 10. What I didn't know before I tried was, Windows 11 does NOT run on a 32 bit PC.
Thanks for the information.
I'm confused. Does doing this clean your computer, at the end you said you should do a backup before doing this. I thought installing and booting from a separate boot drive would have allowed you to keep all your files as is. And that booting with Tiny10 would use a partition of your drive maybe?
I'm not that tech savy so I don't know. I was hoping I could keep everyhing as is, and then test out Tiny10 and begin working off of it if it was faster, and then I'd have to upload some key software I use. With my new SSD I should still be able to do video editing while running Tiny10?
Your right. I never click on videos like this. But for some reason I did. Thanks
Does this work on computers that don't boot the program that is already on them? I have a really old hp thats running windows xp or windows 7, and when I factory reset it it didn't reinstall windows, it just gives an endless reboot loop and doesn't do anything. It just comes up with /system32 and a command window. Can I put windows 10 or 11 on that?
I have a gaming pc with windows 10 currently installed. Will i gain anything by installing a "lighter" version of windows 10? Apart from games i just browse the net through firefox and play music through spotify. I don`t use or need that many features in my windows.
So, the big question is: Will it run as a 30 trial, or is it activated during install?
You need a key to activate. It's not pre activated.
🏴☠No KMS activator here :)
Thanks for this. Is there a way to register Tiny 11 w/ Microsoft and or another way to eliminate the "Activate Windows" water mark?
There's a few ways listed if you do a google search on how to remove the watermark. See if any of them work on the Tiny OS
Can you run external audio interfaces?
Do the Tiny 10/11 versions require a licence key? If yes can I reuse an old Windows key? Also, does the 11 version run on non compatible hardware that the full version requires?
I have an education key and it worked without any issue.
Can I install it on a system that I don't want to lose the files of? I don't want to deal with losing my stuff, but I still want to try this, so, will installing this require resetting my hard drive?
You can actually install your browser through cmd, instead of reinstalling edge again just to download a browser
Please can you do a version in "English Old Man".... Cheers :-))
What programs can i load using this stripped doen version, office and the norml apps , does those all work with this version?
Liron, will this trick work on a 2008 Gateway laptop with Vista as the OS? I don't have it infront of me at the moment, but I remember that it has 4GB of RAM.
Or a 2009 Dell DeskTop WIN 7 with 8 gig of Ram ?
I finally got an iso burned, because the USB stick didn't work.
@@RikJSmith Burn an iso, then during install you need to format your old OS partition. Worked like a charm for me.
I like how you installed Edge just to have a way to install Chrome lol.
Does this work for a gaming PC aswell?
Hi Liron. I keep getting an error when I start Rufus. It says "Unable to assign a drive letter". How do I get round this?
Have the same problem , any fix yet ?
B4 or b2 version preferred?
How about drivers? Will it find and auto install them? As getting drivers for some old PCs can be a night.
so far even weird things like old scanner, old printer, sound mixing board all work perfectly fine.
Wish I could give you two thumbs up. But can y u comment on what "faster" really means here? I have an i7 processor running regular Windows 10. How would an older laptop running TINY compare in speed to my current regular Windows install?
I read that Windows update do not occur I understand that but what about security updates?
What about computers that have a digital windows license? Will they be able to be activated?
I'd like to know this too.
Idk, just use kms
@@shame1039 that’s wild!
Hello Liron Sergev I'm in the site right now. I want to know do I download all 3 files or just one. I'm confuse of which to pick.

@@LironSegev Thank you very much. Have a nice day 🙂
I am unable to create a bootable USB using Rufus because of the bios an the partition style. Is there any other option?
What is the difference between B2 and B4?
So the device doesn't need to be UEFI compatable to get win11? Also will the standard win11 auto updates still be compatable 🤔
What!? Win11 on old system? I'll be watching this a few times before trying it. Any other tips or Do Not Forgets before installing?
