Pros
Very good looking aircraft in paint scheme and details. Includes a clear cockpit with pilot cutout inside.
Ready to fly plane with included transmitter.
True four channel airplane with throttle, elevator, rudder, and aileron control.
Constructed of flexible and crash resistant EPP foam.
Plenty of power from its 1020 brushed motor.
Comes with two 2 bladed and two 3 bladed propellers.
Three selectable flight modes. Beginner mode includes full 6 axis stabilization (3 axis gyro and 3 axis accelerometer). Also includes angle restrictions that prevent the aircraft rolling or pitching over. Intermediate "Midd" mode also includes 6 axis stabilization, but turns off pitch angle restrictions to allow aerobatic stunts. Expert mode turns off all stabilization for fully aerobatic manual flying.
Controller also includes a stunt button that allows the airplane to automatically conduct loops and aileron rolls.
NEW Auto Takeoff feature enables the aircraft to automatically climb to a safe altitude, and then circle until the pilot is comfortable and ready to take control of the plane with the pitch/roll stick.
One key return feature will automatically fly the plane in the opposite direction that it was pointed at takeoff.
Quick disconnect propeller saver automatically disconnects the propeller in a crash to prevent propeller or motor damage. Propeller can be quickly reattached after the crash to continue flying.
Very efficient flier. It's 3.7V 400mah battery can provides up to 15 minutes of flight time (I got over 8 minutes on a very windy day).
Can be flown with multi-protocol transmitters using V761 protocol. I demonstrate such in the above video.
Cons
Brushed motor airplane. Its motor will eventually fail some day. Strongly recommend allowing 15 minutes motor cool down between flights to improve motor longevity.
It's a bit heavier at 66 grams than its 55 grams predecessor. This is mainly due to the heavy use of paint (although it looks good).
I didn't get the full 15 minutes of flight time. This is likely due to the high wind I was flying it in, and the high throttle settings that I used to counter the wind.

Hey man, how much does one of those beauties cost?
This is a great plane to learn with. One thing to note, after about 6 or 7 times the prop comes off the connector on the plane will need to be tweeked inward, can be done with fingers very easy. just want people to know that if the prop flies of during take off tweak the mount on the plane inward with your fingers.
Also if you crash it a few times your prop saver will shift into the plane. You will have to remove and position again. Boom. Good as new....
You mean take it the propellor off and the panel and tweak it that way or just tweak the connector itself?
Thanks for saying that thought I was gonna need to get a new one
I love to take it high up, then switch to expert mode, tumble it madly toward the ground then flick back to midd mode just before it hitting the ground. Yah what fun!! 😊 I also got the multi set of batteries on constant charge in the car, means non stop flying 😊 Watch that wind i'v lost 2 planes now due to wind 😢😢
Hahhhahaha...i figured that out accidentally and pulled out inches above the ground with my P51. These things are crazy in advanced mode.
What a great video! Your joy for flying truly shows through in this video. Thank you for covering literally everything you need to know for this plane. Im going to get one now for $60 flown 2x. Gentleman got it for younger grandkids and was a bit too spicy lol. Win for me
Two blades is good for speed, 3 blade will give you more pulling thrust
Love your reviews and gentle way, thank you. Dan from the UK 😊
I've had several of these and didn't know about the auto take-off and circle feature. Also good to know the V2s have telemetry of some sort - if it works lol. That is useful. Thanks for sharing.
That feature is a new addition. It is only available on the newer flight boards. No doubt any of the new shippings of the Volantex V761 series planes (seem to now have clear plastic canopies) will have it included from now on.
Thanks, Mustang V2 is on its way to join Mustang V1. @@theoztreecrasher2647
Like your laugh. Makes me think of comedian from my generation…Mr. Red Skelton.
I LOVE this plane, it was my first and it’s lasted me about a few months so far, one thing I have noticed is that my motor has been pushed in from it nosing into the grass and because it’s foam it doesn’t go back well
That's why I fly mine with my Radiomaster tx16s. I can put expo to tame the plane so it's a smooth flyer
What protocol/receiver do you set them as on your radiomaster ?
@@simplefact4u V761 4ch
@@simplefact4u- Hi - I see you’ve not had a reply to your query. I understand these models use V761 protocol. Hope this helps. I have the P-51D and only use the supplied transmitter, and only use beginner mode tbh as it’s too unpleasant in other modes. I’ve thought about getting Radiomaster TX16s MkII but it seems a lot to pay out for what is otherwise an inexpensive and fun as standard model.
See if you can measure the prop pitch angle on each of them. I bet the 2 bladed one has more, giving it a bigger bite of the wind. It's a lot like the thread pitch on a bolt or a screw. More angle= higher pitch= moe powah baby! The 3 blade is probably better for low speed stunt flying.
When you mentioned your Corsair was not flying well with the two blade prop...I was wondering if the prop needed to be balanced. We did a lot of prop balancing years ago on larger electric planes. My order of 2 small Volantex Spitfires arrived two days ago. After bench testing one of them I'm impressed with how powerful the motor is, and how the control surfaces, pushrods and trim are accurately adjusted. Got a P47 arriving tomorrow. 😹
I just purchased this Corsair and the Jumper T-lite V2. Could you please refer me to a forum or video on how to set up the controller for use on these aircrafts. Thanks a million
BTW these planes can crash on concrete but it has more chance to break mainly if the wings skim the ground
I would like it if it flew a little slower. Great flying though !
It goes at about thirty four miles an hour on average, Just take it out on a day with 34 mile an hour steady wind and fly her right into them lol
Hi do you believe that Volantex will release the Spitfire again also with transparent canopu?
Thanks for your reply.....the Spitfire is a year old it came out at the same time as the original version 1 Mustang even though I only bought mine last week so isn’t new technology I don’t think....and my BF109 transmitter doesn’t beep continuously when removing the flight battery or my A6M zero so would love to know your thoughts thank you
If it's a repeating series of four beeps, then it's definitely RSSI telemetry. In that case, your Spitfire has a receiver built-in with unadvertised telemetry capability, and your Zero does not.
Thank you 🙏
Hi there. Is it possible to set that low battery voltage warning on jumper t lite? Telemetry sensor discovery finds nothing...
The first version flies a lot better than this second version. I'm pretty disappointed by this. When I turn the throttle all the way down and to the left (rudder), it instantly goes into a death spiral. I'm trying to get a replacement from banggood but I've had to record multiple videos of it which is not exactly easy and now the seller is dragging their feet.
This is realistic to the real airplane. It killed a lot of pilots
@@davidhines7104 that's why f4u's one of nickname is Ensign eliminator right? that sounds sadly
Is this suitable for beginners? It looks like its flying too fast for beginner to react even with stabilization on!
With the assist of the software, the controls move to keep it level,
were you able to set up the telemetry in the jumper? Im trying to do it in my zorro but didn't found anything about that yet.
This is amazing
What’s the weight? Great video!
60 grams, and thanks!
Do you know if I can bind this with a $pektrum DX$ transmitter?
I got the Corsair and find that the CG is a bit further back around 33% instead of around 25%. Is it the same on yours?
Why is it that when I move the button to move the airplane forward, the propellers don't spin? Why? At first I thought it was because the battery cable broke, but because my aunt fixed it for me, at first it still played normally, but the next day the blades didn't spin, I felt very sorry, I had saved up my savings to buy this Zero plane from Volantex Or because it's about the inside of the machine that can make the propeller spin? Btw how to fix this (Thanks for reading all lol)
Did you arm the motor first by moving the left stick full up then full down?
Hello again! I’ve got a Taranis Qx7 from a few years ago during the tiny whoop days. I’m wondering if you have any pointers to which multi protocol module I should get so it can work with this. :)
I would recommend one of the 4in1 modules. The 4in1 modules are multiprotocol. Skip the ELRS modules. You don't need ELRS to fly this.
@@Quadcopter101 thank you! ☺️
7:23 Why is there no mode where there are full controls WITH gyro? Why does it have to be limited angle with gyro on or none at all? Should have kept it like e-flite. 😭
7:59, there is. It's called MIDD position. It's still gyro stabilized, but it turns off pitch angle restrictions allowing manual loops.
@@Quadcopter101 but that is only pitch, not yaw or roll. 😭 also I meant they should have the expert mode be one with gyro but with out any angle restrictions for the 3 axis.
I agree. The only one that I know that does that (that I've flown) is the RadioLink A560 ruclips.net/video/1nMTg0CzYmM/видео.html
LOL! I'm sure that there are a few die-hard E-flite suckers who'd agree! Might be interesting to compare the sales figures of these V761 toys against the E-flite models that are left though!🤔😉😊
@@theoztreecrasher2647 not really a E-Flite sucker cuz gryos without angle restrictions have always been a thing. I started during the tail end of RC Powers and got a HawkSky where they would show how to adjust the manual gyros. And pretty sure there weren’t angle restrictions on those.
What is the turning circle in the one button take of. ?
I'm not sure what you're asking?
Hey I'm thinking of getting into this hobby can u suggest me a nice plane which is cheap for starting 😁
Thanks.
First thing that you'd need to learn is simply turning the airplane. A cheap two or three channel aircraft should be good to do such. Here are a few beginner suggestions.

Can the same transmitter that comes with the f4u work on other planes in the collection? I bought another plane from the same company but t didn't come with the Transmitter. So I have 2 planes. If so how can I make the 2nd plane work with the same transmitter?
Yes, many use the same protocol. Nothing special. Just turn it on and it should bind to the plane.
@Quadcopter101 thank you for the help
Hi could you tell me if any of your aircraft transmitters beep continuously after removing the flight battery as my transmitter which I have with the Volantex Spitfire does beep continuously after removing the flight battery....thanks
That's normal. The new version transmitters with telemetry all do that by design. That's its RSSI (Relative Signal Strength Indicator). It's a warning that the signal between the airplane and the drone is either getting weak or has been lost entirely (which it would be lost if you removed the airplane's battery). If you hear those repeating four beeps in flight, you should immediately bring the airplane closer as you're flying too far from the transmitter.
@@Quadcopter101 That's interesting information from you 2 fellahs. The last 2 V761 planes issued (the v2 versions of the P-51 and Corsair) have been the only ones that I remember seeing the sales blurb touting the telemetry for low battery and signal. Of the later releases of the Mini Warbirds with the Pop-out Service Panels we have a P-40 and a Spitfire but unfortunately the Spitfire is currently on Walkabout around Australia with its owner - so not available for testing.
It's always interesting to know exactly when the various changes have been made to the specs of our toys.
For me when I try to land the propeller breaks
Breaks, or disconnects?
@@Quadcopter101 breaks
@@Quadcopter101 Like one of the propeller blades breaks off
Nobody ever shows you how to cram the battery into these planes! What a pain!
Yep! We generally just trim out the holes in the battery door so that both the flight board lead and the battery lead can be fed through them. Makes it SO much easier to fit the battery in and clip the door shut. Faster plugging in before sitting her on her feet and NO scrunching both leads up leading to them stuffing up pretty quickly! 😉😊
Is it possible to use a larger capacity battery?
Yes, but why do it? The plane already gets close to 15 minutes with the stock battery. A higher capacity battery would add weight, and reduce the flight performance of the airplane.
@@Quadcopter101 I was hoping for a longer flight time. I found 650mha batteries that look identical in size to the OEM unit.
@@RubberChickenMan007 LOL! If you HAVE found batteries that ARE the same size as the OEM units I'd bet my right gonad that it will weigh the same as the OEM AND give the same flight time - regardless of any BS information printed on it to hoodwink any dumb Noob! 😜🙄🤣🤣
@@theoztreecrasher2647 they're 650 mah vs 350
@@RubberChickenMan007 You have run them down from fully charged (4.2v) to 3.6v through a wattmeter to PROVE what their true capacity is? Or are you just relying on what is printed on them? If you have found these super batteries that are the same size and weight as the originals (ie the same amount of active chemicals in them) then please be so kind as to post where we can all buy them. DO NOT post a link to the sales site/item as they are always deleted by the algorithm so just type in the item, sales platform and seller. Looking forward to your kind help to the RC Community.
Aww dammit.....another Quadcopter 101 review that's going to cost me money......
I'm guessing channel 6 is the auto takeoff / auto stunt in OpenTX? Channel 5 is the gyro.
Here is the RCGroups post from Oztreecrasher.
Protocol V761/Sub_protocol 4CH - 1
Models: Volantex V761-4+ and Eachine P51-D, F4U, F22 and may be others
CH1 (A) CH2 (E) CH3 (T) CH4(R) CH5(Gyro) CH6(Calib) CH7 (Flip) CH8(RTN ACT) CH9(RTN)
Switch details.....
Gyro: (3-position switch needed) -100%=Beginner mode (Gyro on, yaw and pitch rate limited), 0%=Mid Mode ( Gyro on no rate limits), +100%=Mode Expert Gyro off (Pascal is not quite correct here. Mid Mode has no pitch limits but roll limits are increased but still extant!)
Calib: momentary switch, calib will happen once the channel goes from -100% to +100% (IE Click momentary switch - check if it is required to hold until process completed - but probably not.)
Flip: momentary switch: hold flip(+100%), indicate flip direction with Ele or Ail, release flip(-100%)
RTN_ACT and RTN: -100% disable, +100% enable ....(These 2 are a bit ambiguous still? Do you need to LEAVE the switches at +100 OR just switch momentarily from -100 to +100 to set the "HOME DIRECTION" - ch8 and to initiate the RETURN - ch9? - probably just click and release then cancel RTN by the stock method of just moving A/E stick.)
@@Quadcopter101 thanks so much! Just ordered one!
@@Quadcopter101 Gonna have to start charging you royalties there Old Mate. 😜😁
🤔😱🙄OOPS! Might have to split it 50/50 with Pascal! 🤣🤣
Can Jumper T-lite flight volantex like in box radio with all functions?
@@simonwong9310 Yep! Provided it is the 4-in-1 version NOT the ELRS version. You would need more gear to use the latter.

you may call me amarela droning
Bro can you give me a drone plz

15 mins too late lol
were can i buy a jumper like yours
Look for Jumper T-Lite V1 with JP4IN1 multi-protocol module. It's on Amazon amzn.to/3LmJcQI
There's also a cheaper V2 version with ELRS, but the V2 version does not come with the multi-protocol module.
