After 124 hours, 12 playthroughs and all the achievments completed, I can confirm that the replayability in this game is adicting and like you said in the video, the game prepares you in a organic way if you go higher and higher in the difficulty and you learn a lot to master everything to beat the most difficult speedrun challenges, with unlockables helping you along the way, its a really fun gameplay loop. For me, now is time to play it with crazy mods. I would recommend everyone to try difficulty mods like "Nightmare" and gameplay mods like sprint, evade and melees anytime, those are such fun new ways to play the game.
i like to take my time with games, explore every nook and cranny, role play, think, appreciate, I HATE SPEEDRUNNING, why does everything have to be locked behind rushing through this masterpiece of a game, i got em but UGHHHHHHH it took a part of my soul knowing i was destroying the novelty the game with speedruns, anyone else feel me?
Can't believe I've already spent more than 100 hours on it. Double dipped it on the PS5 (after PC) and now working through a second S+ Professional run. And the best part is that I'm still not bored or tired of it yet.
I finished it 8 times. I got the platinum trophy on my 7th run, but i just had to S+ Rank Professional mode for those Cat Ears. I definitely want to revisit in the future just to max out every gun.
Wasn’t really an RE fan but for some reason something told me to play RE2 & 3 remake. I’m hooked. Still doing my first play through on RE4. Definitely my favorite so far.
For anyone who overwrote the option to start new game+ with a regular play through you can get it back if you load your first play through and escape the island again
Not for me , i started getting bored in my first walkthrough for this game and i can confirm the best part i was having fun is chapter 11 with luis , once i finished the game i returned playing Resident Evil 4 OG it's so much better.
I'm on my eighth+ playthrough trying to stack the challenges I have left. Trying to do a knifepistol only/no heal/no merchant on standard. It becomes a don't get touched ever run when the armor goes and the health is low.
Let’s see, starting with Game Cube, then PS I’ve played the original 5 times. I’m on my second play through on RE 4 Remake. IMO both are equally great !!
This is why I like games with chapter select. You get that feeling without having to play the entire 15 hours from start to finish. Spider-Man on PS4 didn’t have this and it felt devastating, like a superhero TV show with great bosses that I could only play from the start.
But there's no chapter select in RE4R, unless you're talking about saving before engaging in boss fights. You could manually save in Spider-Man PS4 before entering a boss fight as well.
i got my last achievement yesterday so now i have 100%d it, very repayable, I'm doing a no bonus S+ run now for professional, it will be my 8th playthrough. I have around 155 hours in the game. I ususally get bored sometimes even before 1 full playthrough but RE4 is just made so well and especially for replayability.
I have a question I had started my play through with new game+ and I had saved in the first typewriter in the beginning of the game but I couldn’t continue playing cuz I had stuff going on my end. But anyways I had gone back to play the game from where I left off but I wanted to see if I could restart the campaign again. Can I do that? If so how?
Currently on my 4th or 5th run. I lost track lol (I know the typewriter will tell me) But I'm currently doing Frugalist, Minimalist and Silent Stranger in one go on assisted. I turned Aim Assist off because my Cat Ears and maxed out Matilda were shredding everything. I still have to perfect the Clocktower challenge and Mine Cart. Then most of my challenges will be done. Clocked in about 120 hours so far.
To my surprise I've been able to complete all the challenges and unlock everything. All i have left to do is make my character as rich as possible or until i hit the money cap
Of course I replay every R.e. Game a bunch of times. But I never ever use the rocket launcher , feels like cheating , absolutely no effort or fun to beat the game like that. And the combat system is soooo good , it’s a shame just one shot killing everything .
I have to be honest I've never played because I jump scare easily, but my kids have been showing me game play and has gotten me to want to play the series. #GamespotGiveaeay
Its an action game at best with a few horror elements, The first 3 of Resident Evil are the games that is actually Survival Horror. RE4 to 6 is when the series turned into full on action game with slight horror elements. Then they went back to survival horror again in 7 and 8 because the fans missed the survival horror factor of Resident Evil.
Played it 6 times on PC (got all the Steam achievements), and got it as a gift recently for PS4 and I'm on my second run, going for that platinum, such a great game ❤ I didn't like the original, played it when it came out for PS2 but never liked that game, after playing the remake I still don't like the original, but the remake is my personal GOTY for 2023.
@@CinematicA.I.Productions nah I did I beat it soo much times I already got the unlimited rocket launcher the Tommy gunn beat professional 3 times etc standard about 12 times
Funny because purists said that about og as well. Took the series into an action shooter direction instead of survival horror until 7 came out and went back to basics.

I think I’m 9 maybe 10 playthroughs in, and I’m still not done. This game is a masterpiece, and is my personal game of the year.
One of the only games I ever immediately started again after finishing.
did the same with re 2 and re 4
Funny I just did 🔥 game
Literally what I did today 🗿 got to chapter 6
Same
Spider-Man PS4? 2 didn't have any replay but the first game did

I have played it 7 times and got platinum. One of the top 3 best games i ever played
The ending where you went “or this ****! Or this ****! Or this ****!” Cause thats definitely how i felt with those Bosses

The best thing about the Resident Evil games, is the amount of replayability you get out of them.
YOU'RE AN ARTIST MATE!!!

Does all the jem stones stay in the inventory in new game plus?
Or are we supposed to sell all before the end
Great video and format
That ending with the rocket launcher legit made me cackle haha, great ep! Looking forward to more!
How in god's name is that couch still around? It will outlast us all.

I’m having the time of my LIFE
Sad sad life.
@Bk Bk no not really. People can have a life and play a game as many times as they want and still be happy. Not for you to decide.
@Raf Oh but it is for me to tell you to get out of Moms basement and off the old couch...and get a life

I played for 180 hours, got all achievements and challenges and done S+ on all difficulties. But I still have to complete set of all 30 charms,,,
I have platinum on ps5 and went at it again and also platinum on the ps4 version. Total of 12 playthrus.
Took me about 12 to platinum it.
Worth every minute honestly.
took me about 12 what
I was waiting for a, “Aaaaaaand don’t forget, Mercenaries mode!”.
I completed the game 9 times and the mods make it even better
I defeated Verdugo without using the liquid nitrogen! Because I didn't know this was an option. And I did it on the VR edition too, it wasn't fun!
