As a Palpatine Main (Level 396 currently) I have to say that Anakin is far more dangerous of an opponent than luke just due to the pull alone. So Anakin, Han and Finn are the most dangerous opponents for a Palpatine. Yoda Is also almost impossible to kill since you don’t drain any stamina from him when he is blocking (he can’t do much against you either though if you jump and dodge well). Palps is also extremely good on Kamino (especially third and fourth phase) and I’ve gotten over 100 eliminations most often on that map! (All tips mostly regarding galactic assault)

One good tip about Palp's Aura in HVV is to activate it when enemy is in low health or is waiting to regenerate damage. This way you can damage through the block and leave permanent/lethal damage.

The biggest tip I could give Palpatine players is be aware of your surroundings don’t be near any ledges and try to stay out of range of force abilities. Yeah you definitely want to watch out for Han, Finn, Luke and Anakin. All of them will just wreck you if you don’t know what you’re doing.
i dont know if many poeple know this but for Palpatine if you use the melle attack at the edge of its range it will double its damage wich will mean it will deal around 200 damage with the mele same with boba this lets you combo into an instant 320 damage with the melle and chain lightning
6:24 This is way more menacing than what I was expecting. On a more serious note, I like the idea of a Mage style character in a game like this. I especially like how agile he can be, and his style definitely fits his character, I would say.
I remember once I was playing as him on Tatooine in a heroes VS vilains. I was jumping on the buildings around the centre cantina constantly, and when I had an oportunity, I turned around an blasted them with lightning. They kept chasing me but couldn't catch up. It was great.

Something you didn’t mention but nobody really knows about is if you press down on both of your joysticks while shooting lightning it will shoot a more powerful surge of lightning that’s only useful in some situations it takes about 15% of your stamina everytime and completely stops you from moving, you’re stuck in this animation for about a second before you can move again but while you do this you also won’t be able to dash that’s why I say it’s very situational
When playing hero modes I always use dark aura to finish off opponents that are really low on health. It is fascinating to get a kill like that. Edit: 8:10 instead of luke, there should be anakin, because he can pull enemies running away and palpatine falls down very slow and that's the window to use pull. Yoda is also big threat for emperor, because lightning doesn't drain stamina + it's charging his push.
I have the surge of lightning card the reach lightning card and in full control card and it works wonders on both galactic assault Capitol supremacy and heroes versus villains
I would like to add that Ani can be quite a weakness for Palp as well. If there is anyone out there to give me constructed and polite suggestions on how I can avoid Ani's pull, it would be appreciated.
As an Anakin main, you can take down a not sicko mode Palpatine on a 1v1. If you are getting 2v1'd by palpatine and another hero escape is the only way to survive. Palpatine's basic attack and his chain lightning are stamina melters especially for Anakin who has a very low blocking stamina

Probably not very effective because it locks your movement during the animation which you could have been attacking and jumping away. It's also likely to miss so there is no reason to not use his auto aim
Yoda is the best hero to have against the emperor. His lightning attacks don't drain Yoda's stamina and his presence makes palps' stun and dark aura useless. Yodas rush ability is perfect counter to palps' ✌️spin dodge✌️
Yeah, 2 handed will drain more of their stamina but will also drain your stamina quicker. 1 handed will drain yours and their stamina slower, but if you are against a block spammer, use 1 handed lightning.

Like, the amount of squad spam swingers that tried to 3v1 i could have saved myself from and beat if they only got slowed down. But yeah it got removed because the shit players who are just toxic spam swingers couldn’t beat palpatine because of the slowness so they all complained and had it removed

Dark aura is most useful in HvV blocking enemies from healing behind a block and keeping them defensive
That ability should of had him bring out a saber for 15-20 seconds and it takes 30 secs to recharge

Leia melts every villain who isn't a lightsaber user. I only crack her out when the villains are spamming iden, boba, palps etc.

Yoda’s stamina does not drain while blocking Palpatine and it does charge his push. So be careful when a yoda is leading the charge.
How to palpatine:
Step 1: hold 2 buttons
Step 2: Win
