A guy jumped on the VGG comedy train watching a fella pull a gigantic white Cadillac out of a pasture. You can use the starter to break loose a stuck clutch. Since you don't have brakes, push truck again a solid object, put it in gear with clutch pedal depressed, operate starter. the clutch disc can't move and the starter will put force on the flywheel and pressure plate away from the disc. I did this once on as old Volvo(with good brakes, so no need for solid object)

Great little trucks. The Iron Duke 4 cylinder is indestructible. I flipped a 90 S10 in 91 with no seatbelt on and walked away. Then I got a 92 with the 2.8 and ran it until 2006. It was still running great with 300K...should have kept it.

I had a new '83 S10 Tahoe with the 2.8 L V6 and auto trans. That thing was slower than molasses in the winter. A loaded cement truck beat me from a stop light, lol. I always wonder where that S10 is today. Well, not always, but just today.
Probably many fellas won’t agree with me, but one of the best vehicles GM ever built was the square body 2wd Chevrolet S-10 with either a TBI 2.8 or 2.5 and a hand fired transmission. I truly miss owning one of these trucks. Reminds me of a Chevy Nova underneath too. Simple and nice.
Had a iron duke in a 88 Olds Cierra. Great car for over ten years. Bought it used from a dealer lot. But after a while it developed this odd little knock in the engine.
