Mine wouldnt let me drag the remains of a 1928 Pontiac back to the city I found in outback Australia. Probably was for the best..i was 16 and didnt have a spanner..
sure can relate to you brother , our father always seemed to keep us an arms length away , this behavior is usually handed down from earlier generations
These videos illustrate the unspoken transfer of knowledge about being a man from an older man.. I’m even feeling it at 59. At Derrick’s young age he may not even realize how significant these videos are to his viewers.
Today I was at NAPA in Burney, CA and the old guy behind the counter was wearing a VGG hat. We shared a moment, he said “I’ll be dipped” and I replied “Perfect!”
THAT stereo installation was one of the slickest things i have ever seen!!!...it takes me all of an afternoon compared to how a 'professional' does it in a matter of seconds!
I don't know what's become of my life ...when I spend 30 minutes watching a guy pressure wash a truck and consider it time well spent ! I'll be dipped!
It's a great thing that you and your brother help each other out and appreciate one another. You realize when you get older that family is all you got in the end anyway.
Love the new intro, and you’d never believe you lost so much of your data. There has been zero decline in your content and no filler I can see. Amazing content as always, thank you!
I doubted my sanity for spending 25 minutes watching a guy hose a truck but I see that 210,000 others have done exactly the same already - which shows how brilliant and entertaining these videos are! Thanks and greetings from Yorkshire, UK
I just subscribed to you! Ive got a small channel too, but its about vintage tech (different account then the one I'm commenting with) I just turned 15, so if my 15ish subs stick around for a few more months to a year, maybe they'll see some car content! Im looking forward to your FURD project!
“Asks if we want to see the old dodge”, pffft what kind of feller asks such a thing! I was expecting to see a video tomorrow of it, but seriously love the vids.
Can't get enough of your videos. A guy gets easily distracted going back and forwards trying to watch the back catalogue. Stuff like this is just a dream here in Australia considering the price of junk here
I’m new to the channel and I’m happy it took me so long to get here. Gives me something to watch! I can’t get enough of your humor and sayings. Great delivery!
Whole time im laughing at the little things, the final thing to set me over was the radio install. That was beautiful. 10/10 should do installation how-to videos
So there aren't many RUclips videos that literally give me a GOOD, out loud chuckle... but when you freaking threw the Kenwood into the center of the dash, I legit lost it lol
That boy is already twice as strong, twice as confident, and twice as capable as most all of these fully grown Millennial fellers we got drifting aimlessly around these days.
You do know that depending on who you ask, I'm considered a millennial at 39 years of age, yeah? That being said, the boomer generation is full of incapable nitwits. I'm guessing we'll find those in every generation depending on how you define incapable nitwit ;).
@@RetiredRhetoricalWarhorse Well said. Funny how the generation that created the next one are never responsible for their percieved failings eh! Cos mindless ageism solves everything. Not. ;)
I really like the suckolator you have there, it seems to work perfectly. The "Go all nature" scentilator really made sense too. I didn' t think I'd enjoy watching your S10 vidoes this much, thank you Derek, keep'em coming!
OUR first dump truck on the farm was a Dodge but then we had a good year in 57 so Dad traded in for a 57 Chevy with duolies and a hydraulic bed. Loved that old boy.
The reaction videos are all the rage on tubes these days, I would love to see Brian from Apex Detail do one on this video. As usual, the best part of any video a guy does is his interaction with his boys. Good on ya man!
Sir I have great respect for you the way you talk to your kids and how you treat them. Yep like to see that old dodge worked on. Thank you for letting us come along. God bless
As a 53 year old man who never had moments like these with his father there's something satisfying about seeing that someone does . Nice .
Im 57 and thats part of his personal pit crew I think lol and he's a learnin
Mine wouldnt let me drag the remains of a 1928 Pontiac back to the city I found in outback Australia. Probably was for the best..i was 16 and didnt have a spanner..
Absolutely my friend. Just watching the lil fella drag that Jack hit a special spot 👍🏼

Yes, I noticed the dodge, a real beauty, love to see more of it!
Me as well, I would also love to see it
im a mopar fan and have 5 of them. the cool one is a 49 plymouth heading for a demolition derby this summer if the corona dosent stop it.
Stepside Dodge!
Rebuilding an 85 ex forest truck currently. Would love something to compare to lol
Amen - definitely want to see the Dodge! Thanks for asking.
The faith he has in the kid. Didn’t even double check the jack placement. He must be so proud.
It turned out fine. Oil pans are jack points on S-10s.... I'm about 27.4992134476% sure a [little] guy has been under a truck or 30.
You've never seen Derek jack up a car before have you...
The greasy oil pan is probably the most structurally sound part of that truck. No rust on the pan!
When I was a kid working in my dad's shop I always chose the oil pan.
@@unclejustin7267 makes the day more interesting
I sure wish the auto manufacturers would bring back those small trucks. Handy as hell.

I’ll be dipped! A guy needs these videos full of strapalators and sparkalators and such. 😂😂
And pressure washalators
I'm not sure how I even came across this channel but its pure gold. I've been laughing my ass off for the last hour
welcome to the channel, and thank you for subscribing
