Coffee walk is my favorite channel because of Dennis! This man is a walking Encyclopedia of automotive history! I have been building cars in 1980 but I still learn something new every time I watch coffee walk
If you had said “draw me a picture of a muscle car” when I was a kid in the 70s/80s - what you’d likely draw (and I sure did) would have looked exactly like this Mustang. Grabber, stripes, louvres, staggered Cragars… all it needs are those side pipes!
What a sweet little Mustang this is! What I really like about is that it is not a Boss or a Mach 1 or anything that increases its value. Just a nice car you can take cruising, hit a car show or two, and have fun with. I love that Dennis doesn't beat up sellers on price and buys at the agreed price. Unfortunately, this also makes the resell price high when Dennis sells them. I'll be checking their website for this car to come up foe sale but I'm afraid they will be asking Boss or Mach 1 pricing for it.
I have a friend that has a 69 sports roof, it's not a GT or Mach1 but it is a 428 car. It did have the shaker added many years ago but did not come with it. He's had it tucked away in a shop at one of their farms for decades.

Cool Ford! I used to live in Huber Heights, near the Momba mountain bike park. Should have went to downtown Dayton and ate at Old Scratch Pizza, or anything in the Oregon District. Property taxes were almost $5k a year but it was decent. I don't miss the rusty cars though now living in Louisiana.
Mind blowing! As soon as I heard Huber Heights I thought of the Mel-O-Dy restaurant. Every time I drive by I get a pint of cole slaw. And that's were he recommended.

Man, I live in Huber Heights. I would have loved to have ran into you guys. Love the show and watch every episode. I grew up going to Mel O Dee’s in Park Layne.
I believe that if that guy had a choice he would have sold the wife and not the car. He just looked heart broken. I don't blame him I would have been too. Love the car. He put a lot of work into it.
This looks just like the 69 Mach 1 I had in my 20s. It was a rust bucket but I thought it was so cool. The whole car would fill up with dust going down a dirt road. But it sounded so good. 351.
It had to be hard for him selling it before he could drive it one last time. After all the work he did, especially the work on the motor. When you've personally done that much work on a car, it becomes a part of you.

For a garage build, by a non-professional, perfect. Like Dennis said, it's a driver, not a factory restore.
