Dennis has to be one of the most stand up guys on RUclipss car channels, he always treats people right and doesn’t haggle price. How in the world him and Richard are friends beats the heck outta me!
Of course he haggled he agreed to the final price before he left. Richard flipping cars is what keeps the lights on. Dennis is looking for a quick flip. He wants collector cars to sell. Colin's Bros Jeep is the primary business. Black mountain accessories is another side line. Dennis did his homework well in advance. Or likely Kelsey goes over all the various adverts and submissions and brings her dad the cream of the crop. Richard and Dennis don't go after the same cars to flip. Now to keep? Sure as sugar. Different business, different buisness models.
They both in the car business and doing pretty well at it.whats wrong with haggling to get the price down to make more profits after. What would you do offer the guy more than the car is worth so you don't hurt his feelings..lol.
Lol Yeah he has class and all around respect for PAINTING and not laying his paws and front of apparels on fenders.... Lots of guys scratch cars being idiots but not these guys!! No haggle makes it tasteful too
I was very fortunate to meet Dennis and his crew the evening they were here in Hays. I must say they are genuinely nice people, very knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to visit with them
Dennis . Your knowledge and passion holds no bars ! And you have a great team ! It's always a pleasure and education to see you at your best . Thankyou Dennis .
I love how he does not negotiate the price on camera , if he even does at all . Also cool he does not hide how special the cars are or try to be deceptive when buying them . Great content sir !
Dennis, the biggest reason to work for you is that you actually spend some doe on food for your crew.... Love that after every buy you get to the best diner in town and treat everybody to a great meal. May God bless you Sir.... Remember that Jesus loves you more than you love your own children.....
Dennis , you're not only a very educated car guy, but also a phenomenal educator to us. Thank you for all you show and teach us all. On a side note: my dad was a career OTR , as well as, a successful farmer, rancher and country market owner/operator. God bless our truckers 🇺🇲❤️
So this episode is BEFORE he finds the real deal King of the Road in La Grange, GA? Wow. That episode is epic. This black Mach 1 is eye watering beautiful and the sound at the opening clip was jaw dropping. Sorry to brag, but I’m a live sound engineer, and while my wife continuously shut down my sound system in the living room, so I put a stupid rig in my bunk room, or what a lot of people call the FROG(family room over the garage). And when I say stupid, it’s stupid. Reference quality, eq’d for flat response from 16khz down to 25hz, so I hear stuff in programs that the makers probably didn’t hear. That Mach 1 sounded AWESOME!! It sounded like it was in my garage, rattling the walls, the whole deal. Good god when that opening clip came on, the volume was way up, and……for once I’m speechless. That black is beautiful too. There’s just nothing like a great black paint job in great shape, and clean. Sinister and beautiful all at the same time. Thanks for everything Dennis. Thanks Zack for getting great sounds. Your editing is superb. Consider that a high compliment.
One of the best parts of the video!....Morning Shawn P.....Morning.....How are you...I'm good....Dennis proceeds to laugh hysterically. Cracks me up every time and I've watched that part like 20 times!
Not too many 37 minute videos I can actually sit down and watch all the way through. Another great episode of one of my favorite shows! Keep up the great work Dennis!
Mr Dennis sir, you would be number one on my list to call if I ever had a rare or “Holy Grail” car to sell. You are a true gentleman and make great videos. As usual the food looked great. Mom and Pop businesses take pride in their craft!!! 👍😁🇺🇸
I've been an OTR truck driver for longer than I would rather say, lol. So thanks Dennis for the shout out. When the world seem to stop in early 2020, I kicked into a higher gear than ever before. Toilet paper, coffee, dairy and meat had to get there I did my very best! But now in 2023, the owner operator truckers world has all but been destroyed. I pray we all survive and look forward to the day I can dream of owning my "dream car" again. 1968 AMX 390 4sp. I also hope to get a close up look at the Jimmy Walker AMX I once seen in my youth!
Enjoy watching the videos and the people you meet! I am impressed with the amount of knowledge you possess about each of the vehicles you uncover! I am 60+ and love all the old muscle cars from the 60’s and 70’s! Keep up the good work👍
Dennis. Whenyou see the wife hovering around its a sign that you do the deal for the package there and then. She was instrumental in getting him to sell. Ive seen this before.
I appreciate the fact that I always learn something about automotive history whenever I watch Dennis inspect a car. More importantly, beyond the fascinating historical factoids, I appreciate the manner in which Dennis treats people around him with kindness and respect.
Great episode Dennis. I can understand now why you check all the numbers. Every number means something, the code matches up with the colour et cetera, it’s unbelievable. Well, I look forward to next week. I hope you and your family have a great weekend. 👍
It is amazing to recognize how much respect Mr Collins brings to any Car. Do not sit in, do not touch without permission, takes car in handling.... Awesome!!
I love the info in your videos...this stuff needs to be shared like this, or all will be lost!! Thanks for including that while purchasing this car. Likely, many people have been fooled out of stacks of cash not checking all the "Shelby" clues to look for.

Another great episode! I learn something on every one. Way to shout out the truckers out there. They keep America moving! Another thanks to you truckers. Man what I wouldn't do for that Mach 1!
I love how you make new friends whenever you you are the master of listening and making friends for life. Thank you for your knowledge of cars and especially that of Mustangs that I love so dearly.
Most editors would chop this video up but he understands that RUclips TV is literally a TV Network...with over 2 billion subscribers around the world. Production A1!!!
Dennis, your knowledge of these cars just amazes me, looks like you couldn't come to an agreement on the Mach 1, that is a super awesome car... y'all be safe!! God Bless!!!

My wife doesn't watch "car videos" but she watches you, your family and team whenever you post up new videos. Thanks *so* much, we really appreciate your stuff :-)
I don't think Shelby called the bar a roll bar for insurance reasons, particularly when under the production by Ford. On some later cars I think they called it a style bar yo really distance themselves from liability.
I started watching Richard at Gas Monkey. Saw you CB Keep. My youngest daughter and husband and my 4 grandchildren lived in Richardson Texas. Now they live in Cedar Hill Texas. They took a picture of me in front of your business. Love watching you and Richard. I am from Louisville Kentucky and still live in Louisville KY. There’s nothing more “outstanding” then Dennis with his flashlight. There were more clicks of the flashlight than outstandings in this one.
Dennis has got to be the most down to earth HONEST car enthusiast Ive seen on RUclips
Because he's a gearhead. Not a "car enthusiast".
@@deeremeyer1749 I can agree with that !
Another great episode and an OUTSTANDING Shelby. Great job guys.

Outstanding as always Dennis. The way you treat people is always impressive.
The Mach 1 did sound a bit lopey when he backed it out. I see why the owner thought it might have a cam upgrade.
Yeah he did say it was used as a drag car.
I also appreciate you mentioning us truckers. I am a jeeper and a trucker and love your videos.
The Shelby is beautiful but I’d rather own the black one. You can actually drive it. Great episode! Love the channel!

Buying a new C8 Corvette (esp the ZO6) is far better & cheaper car than any of these ...
