Dennis Collins is a CLASS ACT always courteous to all and even opened the door for the lady at the end going into the pizza shop keep being you Dennis it's what keeps me and thousands of other subs coming back every Friday!!!!!!!!
This car belonged to my late father in-law who sold it to them, we have pictures from 1971 when he owned it. Great to see that it's in great hands to be restored. He loved his corvettes. Long live Stingray Steve.
Loved the video Thanks Dennis for everything Working with your guys was a great experience Glad you guys have my car I know it will end up in a good home somewhere
Dennis when you have cars with locked up wheels the easy way to move them is put a milk jug under the tire and thake dish soap and make a line to where you want the car to go and it will move like its on ice . Try it in the shop if you think I'm pullingvyour leg . It works
When Dennis turned around, and opened the restaurant door for the lady I thought, yep, from Texas, a southern boy always thinking his mother is watching him.
I've owned C3's, a C7 and now a C8 ... My kingdom for a 67 427, with a 4 speed, stinger hood and side pipes. For a Vette guy like me, that's the Holy Grail.
Never did hear what happened to his brother, hopefully he made it back from Vietnam well, Thankful for his Service, Some Gave all, Happy Independence Day
No slack given with OSHP on speeding here in Ohio. Tiffin is a wonderful town and thanks to you Dennis next time I am in town I know where to go to eat. A wonderful story on the Corvette and a very nice family who were such good care takers of the car.
I was never a Corvette lover, you have converted me , the 63 to 67's are the best. We didn't see many in small town Ontario (Canada) The local FORD, AMC and Chrysler dealers somehow ended up with lots of what is now highly sought after that was fairly common near us. Just on my parents block there was a 70 GTO Judge , a 68 GT500, a 67? GTA Mustang , a 65 Falcon Sprint, a Chevelle SD(?), oddly enough a Mustang GT/CS ( that one was lost ?), and my brother 66 hi-po convertible. My dad showed up with a 68 Shelby and mom 86'd it due to an incedent with brothers 66. Of them all I think that 68 GT500 was biggest opportunity lost. Wasn't all bad I spent the 70's driving a 70 Cuda dad bought. Shout out too for hitting the local eatery , I know where I'm going next time through there.
The insights into real Americana and what makes this country so great, priceless beyond the cars! Kudos for giving us the tours and showcasing these gems, matters way more than any piece of motor vehicle you find for sure.
When recommending the local pizza restaurant is as important as selling a classic Corvette, great people and good food and another outstanding episode 🍕😎
Another great Corvette recovery! Since you were in Tiffin, you should have stopped by TIFFINAIRE to see their aircraft towing tugs. Start with JOHN DEERE tractor and make it into the darndest tug you've ever seen. Worth the trip.
Dennis, you have your hands full on this one. I think I see @8:15 significant frame rot on the crossmember. Yes, it repairable, but it could be that the birdcage has hidden rot under the fiberglass also. Hope for the best.
This was great also I liked how the restaurant/pizza owner sat down with everyone talked some about the history of the business Dennis & crew always have some very delicious food to eat ..
I love how you go to locally owned restaurants and showcase them. I always have to watch when having breakfast because they make me hungry. Great to see, I’m a fan from 🇬🇧
Dennis, I used to be a truck driver years ago for an engine company called 4 STAR Engines. I got most of my speeding tickets in Ohio, I do not miss going to Ohio !
Man o man Dennis and your crew were so close. We could have toured car collections for days…what an amazing episode! I live a mile outside woodville and can say “do NOT speed there”
Love the big block hoods, what awesome styling. To have a stout 396 4 speed would be a blast in one of those! We will never see exciting looking cars again. They get blander and blander every yr. Cant even lean up on one without doing body damage
Thanks for another great show Dennis and crew , when your back in Ohio you guys need to try the G & R in Waldo Ohio home of the world famous bologna sandwich
Appreciate Dennis getting these classics back on the road back in circulation Saw a trick put lunch trays under the tires tends to slide a lot easier Just saying
Man, I LOVE this car! I'm always looking for another mid year but unfortunately, the prices on them have gone crazy. I'd go through the drive train on this one and get it running and driving good and then throw on a set of aluminum slot mags and new tires and then drive the hell out of it with the paint just like it is. Doing a full resto on it makes it too valuable to enjoy.
Disagree. A car is no good if you are afraid to drive it. Nothing is funner than driving a "new" old car around in todays world Its not going to get ruined either, insure it!
@@Wooley689 For some reason I believe Dennis. He should challenge this one! Its not like hes got an old school speedo thats off they are all the same these days. To write him and add 7 mph to make it a stiffer fine is chickenchit.
Hello, Dennis from Ireland, you are a Legend over here, bro. That Brain of yours is Fantastic, lol 😆. You put Richard Rawlings to SHAME with everything you know, lol. And you are so Cortious with everyone you meet, and you are not afraid to put your hand in your pocket, so Generous. Wow there are some lovely Corvettes in that Garage 😍 😀. That's a Barnfind surely? With all that dust on the engine. I hope I didn't give you a big head, Dennis, 😅😅. Great video as always mate. 🥰🤩😆😆💯
When you said you got pulled over twice in Ohio I couldn't help but laugh😂😅 cops sure do love their jobs over here. Fair warning to any traveler coming through.... cops are strict and all over here. But thank you for shining light on my small hometown and one of its local busineses. Believe it or not you probably passed one of its historical buildings, but Tiffin St. Paul's United Methodist Church was the first church in the world to be lit by Thomas Edison's light bulb, and the first public building in the United States to be wired for electricity. Also cool to see you guys met John Kramer who was my little league baseball coach. Such a small world, lived in dallas last year and moved back to tiffin. Never would have imagined you guys being in tiffin, so cool.
Thanks, interestingly, we made a few trips to,HICKSVILLE : in my High School Days ( WOLF LAKE, 1965, Noble County Ind) .. Oddly, my Church today , IS AT PAULS UMC, HELENA MT ……..ANYWAYS. Great.!,
That's another nice find! it's a good looking Corvette. spend around 15 or 20 grand on it and you'll have another beauty. Oh, as far as give me the Vin goes .. listen guys, I tried to use it with my 09 Jeep Wrangler with 82,000 miles on it, 6 cylinder, auto, air conditioning, etc.. nice yellow Jeep. Well they offer me $6200!! just so you know they're REALLY HARD to make a deal with...unless you just hate money?😂
It doesn`t get much better than Coffee Walk, Dennis always a class act, another Vette rescued, oh boy count me in on the lasagna, it`s huge, love the show guys, be well.
I picked up the best pizza this evening in Athens Ga, but I doubt it is that good! They look all about the sauce, and pizza that stands up thin crust style! :) I want to go to there!
Cars with locked up brakes would slide much easier with a wedged shape 2x4 in front of the locked up wheels (or whichever way you're pulling it). Hope it helps.
When you find cars with wheels that are stuck you should have a crib with low small wheels an adjustible in lenght and width. So it would bemore easy too get in the trailer, but as allways, yet another good find.

Coffee Walk is hands down one of the best RUclips Channels out there along with VGG in my opinion!! God Bless America 🇺🇸

That’s not just a Texas (thing) that’s being a man you can do it to👍

His brother (my uncle) came back from the military, is alive and well living in the area.
"that'll hold air" - and apparently it did, WOW
I know right? I was pretty damn surprised.
I did NOT think that tire was going to hold air!
I’m still in shock. It had to have a tube in the tire
I watch every video you post. Never thought I would ever thought you would end up in my back yard.
My dream car, with the perfect color.
Boy ....
If Dennis was to ever do a giveaway car to the subscribers this is a top contender. ❤🎉
That pizza shop is about to be busy..
Dennis Collins generating happiness & goodwill everywhere that he goes....Well done Sir..

Great Corvette and story. Great looking food as well. Thanks Dennis!
Great show folks!!!!!!
Woodville is the world capital for a speed trap! It drops from 60 to 40 to 25 all in 1 block!
The road in front of the Speed Trap Cafe used to be 25 in one direction and 50 in the other direction...
That should be illegal

What a gorgeous find Dennis 😍
To replace the lifters, intake tube and change the oil on my 93 Vette will be just shy of $2,000. The lifters alone are $467!
That is a lot! Intakes on those cars come off in no time. Sounds like you bought good lifters at least
