I've never seen a cop allow someone to drive off that has no registration or insurance on the car. Now the car has no license plate, insurance, or registration. That's crazy.

Criminal citation??? I have always been cut a break at speeds over 90 and they knock it down to 85 even at 142mph at 2 in the morning he said “ I didn’t call it in because I didn’t have a chance” and we started chatting because as soon as I saw the lights I completely let off and pulled over as soon as I was slow enough and he wanted to talk about the car and after some shrewd negotiations he owned it about a month later!
Can we also get another first to get a ticket challenge

Legally he can't drive it, and the car should be towed. But the reality is that it's a huge pain the ass for the cops to deal with that and takes a lot of their time. So they'll usually just look the other way to save themselves the hassle.
But legally, that creates a legal liability. This highlights a larger problem: selective enforcement. Too many laws. Not enough MAGAfReeDum and balD eaGles.
On top of that it wasn't Rob's car either so in reality it really should have been towed. It didn't make any sense.

There are currently a total of 45 states and the District of Columbia that are members of the Interstate Driver’s License Compact. (DLC) The five states that do not share driving records include:
Georgia
Massachusetts
Michigan
Tennessee
Wisconsin.
masshole does share driving offences but not through the DLC
NYS is actually the state that doesn't transfer points from out of state infractions. (Except DUI) You also don't need to respond to 6 states as they aren't part of the Driver Pact that NY and 44 other states are. Currently banned from Wisconsin and the ban expires in a month (It was a year long). Nothing comes back to me, It's great doing rallies out west.

I live in Switzerland and regularly drive 5-10 mph above the speed limit, police does not seem to care much, it is just the radars that you have to keep an eye on. There are never speed cameras on the twisty mountain roads as a safety measure (in case drivers get flashed, scared, and evidently lose control of the vehicle). Police here just seems to love hunting foreign, non-European cars.
My German cop friend says Switzerland is notoriously strict. He said don't exceed the limit by 10% or more and you'll probably be ok. Speed camera got me in a sudden slow zone. Didn't think slamming on the brakes on the Autobahn would be smart. I guess I should have.
Anyway, it looks like your experience is different. Or maybe they just dislike Germans and cars with "D" on the license plates!!!!

Always enjoy these. Your conduct during stops is an example of the proper way to be. Personally, I always show my badge and get into other conversations with the officers! My last ticket was in 1986! Florida Highway Patrol writes traffic tickets period. The one in 86 was in a red sports car and cop was going the opposite way and another red sports car was passing me! True story. I never even slowed down because I was sure he would go past me and get the other guy. But, nooo! Got it for 71 in a 65. I always figured the Trooper decided he couldn’t catch the other guy and just choose the low hanging fruit - me!

Be careful if you ever visit South Africa. 40 km/h (+-24mph) over the speed limit equals arrest. In a residential area it is 30km/h over for arrest.

Love the video. I got pulled over going 96 and then at 93 in a 60. I thought it was the worst thing in the world because it was the first time I got pulled over. You took it 100% better than I did.
