These T880s have kinda grown on me, they look good as dump trucks. The T680, on the other hand, looks as bland as I always thought it did. The T660 is the nicest looking aero truck ever made IMO. I like the new B cab interior a lot better than the 80 cab interior too.
I'm looking for a Class Super C motorhome and trying to decide on a cab & chassis. I don't see many Kenworths, mostly Freightliner or Peterbilt . Which would be most comfortable for long distance traveling? How do these Paccar engines compare to DD or Cummins?
I kind of liked the 880 when it first came out. Not so much now that I've seen a few of them rigged out for logging. Cabs are way too wide. I still prefer the 800 personally.
What about setting these up for fire engine/apparatus duty? These trucks would look cool set up as fire trucks, and other emergency response vehicles! Engine 51,...squad 51!
I noticed that all the trucks shown with license plates had Washington plates. Are they all still built in Seattle? I toured that plant sometime in the mid-1980s.
Not a fan at all of the 880. Definitely regular 800 guy all the way. Cabs are way too wide on the 880. Way too much plastic. And smooth panels They don't feel like they're going to last. Like the regular 800 or 900 riveted cab definitely durable Yeah, they just don't last like 800s do and I also don't look or feel like a real truck
Depends. Daimler's quality control is pretty bad lately. Now if you're comparing a Western Star built within a few years of the Daimler buyout, Western Star is hands down a tougher truck.
The World's Best, I agree. Then again, I've never had access to a Scania.
Definitely the America's Best!
In Europe this truck would be junk, nobody would want it, they are much worse than the European ones. Very basic.

No. The T880s are built in Chillicothe OH, as mentioned in the video.
Corporate headquarters are in WA... and their testing/proving facility is in Kirkland, WA, so that might have something to do with it
Genau das ist mein Geschmack! :-)

Please give us the glider option!
20/20
I have been searching for a chart showing all lube points for t880 chassis. Manufacturer hasn't been able to locate. Could anyone help me out?
This many sound dumb but can you make more Kenworth model in 1/87 scale put them in some hobbies shop in Australia
18 speed is the best transmission
Love to get a glider kit T 880 and put a 6nz cat in it for a log truck with loader on it.
I love these trucks, but those pusher axles just look sooo bad. I'd prefer the full size tag/pusher axles myself.
Absolutely! Those tiny pushers are for gurly men!
😍😍😍😍
No heavy duty external breathers on a severe duty truck, cab too wide, no flat windshields option, I'd prefer the T800.
Me gusta la máquina Kenworth quiero saber precios
I love the video, trucks, and Kenworth. But the automatic gears just killed the mood.
You've never driven one, have you?
Corey MacQueen I have, soooo dang quick.
No doubt! 18 spd Eaton Fuller please
@@coreymacqueen4802 I have.
No disk brakes no emergency braking
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
A T880 can't be ordered with a manual transmission?
Robert Polkamp
yes
Robert Polkamp
It can be ordered with a manual or automatic. I have a 18 spd in my truck and alot of my coworkers has automatics in theirs.
Why do they put a fake non functional exhaust stack thats not hooked up? just hook it up to make true dual exhaust !
Anny sleeper for the 880??
you may have missed it but there was one in the background
you may have missed it but there was one in the background
Last I remember you can get the T880 in 40' and 52' sleepers options.
Ther's a 76' one as well.
There's a 76'' sleeper as an option as well.

Por favor send me a catalogue W /teen wheelers or super - 10 Kenworth the Best 👍❤️
bad thing about a 880 and 680 if your 6,2 or taller no legal room feel cramped
I'm 6'5", and you couldn't be farther from the truth...
So no sleeper
ill take a kw t800 over a farreri/lambo anyday
A western star vocational 4900 has everything this has and a lot more so why go with this when there's western star🤔‼️
Because StarCars suck now that Daimler has cheapened them so much, and some of us need a lighter weight than a LeadSled Star will allow.
crap. put fuel gauge behind the wheel the list goes on.
Screw that auto crap
Uncle Sergei
Western star is better
