I love the style of videos that dumptruck is a beast I love how the truck is setup awesome video josh 😊😊😊😊
Thanks Nathan!!!! I had fun doing this one. :D
Definitely love the Kenworth trucks one word for that awesome Kenworth dump truck it's a beast an it will pay my bills
That’s a lot of truck. It’s going to take a few minutes to pre-trip those. Great video, as usual.
Thanks Thom!!! It takes a few minutes, but it's totally worth it.
We just ordered our second t880 plow truck for municipality . We are in ny. Just waiting for tenco to finish installing plow equipment and dump. First one was an auto mine is coming w 18 speed.
Starting to see more of the T880S's in my area.
We're starting to see more and more of them on the lot also. :D
@@KenworthofRichfield
I'm still the only one who has a W990 setup as a dump truck and I'm surprised that some haven't ordered one cause I heard that while my truck sat on the lot. Quite a few of the bosses salesman other customers were inquiring about the truck and trying to figure out whose it was. I think if Kenworth hadn't come out with the W990 I probably would have went with the T880S.
They comply with more bridge laws
I drive a 2019 T880S quad a great truck. MX 11 Allison auto amazing truck
that's INSANE... no limits on the axle build... is there a limit??
OK what's with the grey shoes?!?! lol
the one thing I love hearing from you is the facts of GOOD drivers know how to adapt to new equipment and learn to work with it. so true, it's about team work.
There's not a limit so-to-say......but there's a point of diminishing returns where adding axles just isn't worth it.
Great Truck keep building 7 axes truck I like the Haulmax
Cool video! Keep up the good work
Thanks! Will do!
Great truck
We just got two new 2021 T880S that are 7 Axle Dumps and all the Tag Axle switches are in the dash and all 4 Valves are under the cab as you show with the 3 valves.
How many tons you can put in the type of truck? , the simple 18
What is the body size and cubic yard capacity? Payload capacity in tons?
Great presentation. I've seen professionals (well known actors etc..) not do as well. And you know your trucks.
Hey Josh; what weight ratings are the pushers and how much do they weigh each, Please? Thanks much!
They are 10k pushers. Unfortunately, I don't have a weight on them currently. From the spec sheet, it looks to be ~1k each. I should have a weight on the trucks empty in the next few days as the front pusher axle tires just got installed.
This would be great paired with an MX-11. You could haul nearly as much weight in a straight truck as other trucks would need a trailer for
Super duty
It's more like super duper duty :D
Cool looking dump truck, would love to see a 1/50 scale model of that truck.
You and me both!
That's right! A 7 axle is definitely nicer to have than a 6 axle. I wished that I had went with the smooth sided body on my W990, just not that tall of a body.
I'd also would have had lights all down the side of that body. We run 2 rows of lights, a row on the top and a row on the bottom. Our mechanic hates all of the lights, but the boss loves it. He wants his truck to be lit up.
Always more lights and more body. LOL
Good to hear from ya Wayne!
@@KenworthofRichfield
If I'm not mistaken we run a bodies were the side height is 60" if I'm not mistaken. I know our neighboring state Maryland the trucks have the taller sides.
@@KenworthofRichfield
Always love having the more lights.
that is a good looking truck even know it is two years old
I'm just curious. What's the turning radius on a 7 axle truck?
40 acres. LOL Just kidding. It's actually not bad. It's a 307" wheelbase, so it doesn't turn on a dime and you're not going to turn around in the same space as a prius. It is fully capable of backing into a 1 car driveway from a 2 lane road without having to take a second shot though. If you call our sales department, they can do a check into the specs to get you a curb to cub turning radius.
I want for u to explain how many ton s of material can legally haul with this 7 axle truck...
It depends on your local bridge laws and how much other stuff you have in the truck. It's really close to 22T though.
Hey buddy looks like that truck could take the entire gravel pit lol
It's the "one trip gravel pit relocation vehicle"
Lol
What is the max gross weight on 7 axles? In Ontario on a tri axle truck we ball park 36000kg
I believe that this one can run 74k lbs.
Wonder how governments come up with some of these laws. We have less tires to the ground but are good for 6000 more pounds.
The turning radius must suck box is so long out would be better with 27f trailer that can bend to do u turns
Actually, it's not as bad as you'd think Michael. We can spin it around in our lot which isn't all that big. Granted, it doesn't turn like the 153" T270 we have here....but it's not nearly as bad as you'd think.
How much did this truck weigh?
How many tons can it hold
I always wondered why the original W900S didn’t have a sleeper option... if it did I’d imagine it’s highly rare
I've never seen one either. In this, I would guess it's that most of the applications that it's used for just aren't "sleeper" type applications.
Kenworth of Richfield true, like you wouldn’t see a sleeper on a cab over garbage truck... I still remember back in the day Kenworth had that Garwood LP900 Hustler Trash Truck...
A sleeper cab is nice if you have room to spare. For the company operating the dumptruck it just doesn't make financial sense. Unfortunately no-one is asking the driver...
Josh, out of pure curiosity, what will that truck legal tonage wise?
~23T It tiptoed across the scale at 29,200 w/ a driver and can run 76,500 on bridge. :D
Kenworth of Richfield wow!!
@@KenworthofRichfield if my calculations are correct that would be about 35.000 kilogrammes. In the Netherlands a five axle truck is legally allowed to weigh 50.000 kg (i.e 110.000 pounds) for use on public roads. Does the US have strict laws for max. weight of trucks?
What's the gross weight of the truck loaded🎉🎉🎉🎉
What is the total capacity of 7 axles versus 6?
In Ohio, it's about 2 to 5 tons extra. Which means more money. I love the 7 axle I drive.
With the 7 axles and a 307" wheelbase the max weight per federal bridge law is 75,000 lbs. With 6 axles and the same wheelbase, the max weight would be 69,500 lbs.
When the big truck goes over the cameras hang
wish you showed a full dash pic
I'll make sure to grab that for the next one.
In the Netherlands a 5 axles truck can legally weigh aprox. 110.000 pounds (highway use).
Does the US have such strict weight limits that this 7 axles truck can weigh much less?
In Finland a five axle can gross about 92.400 pounds and with a four axle trailer the gross combined weight can be 168.000 pounds (76.000kg)
In our state of Ohio, we can load that truck to a total of 74,000 lbs
@@KenworthofRichfield Thank you for your reply 👍
That would make Justin Sturgill envious in Cincinnati Ohio but he is a Peterbilt 389 man
Our condolences to Justin....
Kenworth of Richfield LOL cool I like W 900 L s and Pete 389s
That cause Kenworth laughed at him. Joke turned out to be on them. Nice truck.
Trucks these days are far too expensive. My 2004 Kenworth W900B CAT MBN 7 axle super dump works great till this day and I intend to lkeep it for many more years since it's been converted to a CAT 6NZ engine spec. I haul in northern Virginia and my truck can legally haul about 26 tons net weight. I can legally haul 81,900 gross on VA state roads with a 5% overweight permit or 78,000 gross on Interstate Higheways with my 7 axle Class B super dump truck.
The snub nose must be good on weight and tight turns otherwise it's ugly, the t800 snub nose looks way better although it's an older model curb appeal to me is much higher than the t880s and 990
That's a great looking truck 🙂 what is the price of it 🙂
Give the sales department a call as I know that they've got some good deals going on with them now!
So what is the Gross in Ohio with this setup
I believe legal bridge is 74k in this.
@@KenworthofRichfield wow my tri axle is 80k in jersey
👍
Thanks Jose!
If it was cherry red metallic it would be perfect
Yes.....yes it would be.
I thought you would take it for a spin
I used to run 72k on a tri axle mack 😐😐
Y'all dropped OFF after this guy left
Watching a Kenworth video and got a Mack truck commercial in the break 🤔
Kenworth and peterbult are owned by the same company. Maybe Mack is too?
@@ZEZERBING Volvo has ownership of Mack trucks
It happens. On the bright side, that made this truck look even better. :D
@@KenworthofRichfieldthat bulldog is keep trying 🙂
👍👍👍❤❤🙋♀️✌
Thanks Anne!
"Oddly satisfying.", that's what your Momma said.
wow. Obviously she wasn't talking about you...
@@KenworthofRichfield Yeah, you're right. It was the guy that was three ahead of me.
@@pennise I know I shouldn't reply because you're trollin' but please... Get a life and stop commenting on this channel. Thanks in advance.
U ain't going to gross 80 thousand pounds with it like my dump truck most u getting is around 56 thousand the way it's set up so u losing money if u wanting to haul more weight
It may not work for what you do, but in this area....it definiately is the money making setup. :D
Wrong a trailer
You guys in Ohio don't believe in dump trailers, do you? You can build a less humongous truck if you pull a trailer... 😉 In BC we have quite a few transfer dump trailers (e.g. www.klinetrailers.com/trailers/truck-transfer-trailers) and, of course, tandem and tridem pups.
We do have a lot of dump trailers that get run also. There are some advantages for this in terms of a lower be height, easier maneuverability, and a larger driver pool to grab from.
Lol you all are in the wrong damn state for weight limits....we run 100,000 for a conventional tractor with a tri-ax trailer, 76,000 for a tri-ax truck and 60K for a tandem.
Because of the loud racket you call music I stopped watching,
It was all the hand waving that ran me off...We can see how enthused you must be over such a fine truck in your inventory, but please consider a pair of handcuffs...Other than that, a fine presentation...
You should hear the racket I normally listen to!!!
If I was handcuffed, I wouldn't be able to talk!
@@KenworthofRichfield My Mom was the same way...She couldn't figure out why I always grinned when she was lecturing me...

Wow. Original. :D
And it took how long for you to come up with this? #fail
