  • There has been a lots buzz around the T880 since the day Kenworth introduced the truck at the Mid-America Trucking Show in 2013. Dubbed as the eventual successor to wildly popular T800, the T880 has some pretty big shoes to fill. Still, it's everything the T800 is -- and quite a bit more. Kenworth say the T880 is the most versatile vehicle to ever roll off its assembly line. Watch these three videos to see why.

    Don't get me wrong I've been a driver all my life 40 years experience.
    the 6-speed automatic with the paccar engine is one of the nicest trucks I have ever drove! it's like driving my pickup truck.

    Yep, now this is what I'm taking about and been waiting to see!! The T880 I drive is kinda like the orange dump truck. Only difference is mine is Va spec'd so its strecthed out 2-4 ft longer . Thx for posting.

    Love the chrome mirror covers, hope Kenworth has them as an option. I'll be getting a new T880 for next year.

    I drive a 2017 and when it’s running I love it. Unfortunately it spends more time at the dealer getting fixed then it does making deliveries. In June July and August I only had my assigned tractor for a total of 3 weeks. The rest of the time it’s been broken down. Mostly def problems that lead to the truck going into d mode.

    I miss the little door window passenger side blind spot helps alot here in NY

      ABSOLUTELY AGREE!!!! WHAT ARE YOU GUYS THINKING AT KENWORTH THESE AREN'T CARS AND THEY AREN'T F250S!!

    I dont mind the engine and gear noise, its all the beeping from the lane departure warning in my ear in construction zones when they move the lanes and the collision alert that always goes off on turns, in parking lots, windy roads and shadows from bridges and trees over the fwy I can do without.
    other then that, I love KW's

      +Wolf9Walker That stuff can get really annoying. The folks who make it say it improves safety, but I'm not there yet. It's not refined enough yet in my opinion for all the reasons you give. It's a great concept, but they have to deal with the nuisance warnings.

    I invite you to come look at some trucks that's been in service 4 to 7 years
    The one I'm driving now has issues kicking into neutral on a hill or backing up it will kick outa gear

    The T880 needs a blind spot window in the passenger side door like other professional-grade trucks have (W900, T660, T800, Pete 367 & 389, Mack Granite...). Huge blind spot, I don't like driving them. Kenworth tells me get a blind spot mirror on the fender instead -- Nope-- they look Swift-ish, get dirty, get knocked off, they're difficult to wash & wax around, and can get iced up.

    its all fun and games till you drive company owned t880 and they turn all of them down and they have no power ,they shift so slow you cant make it through a red light unless you it , and it down shifts 2 gears to get over an over pass (when loaded) , you have traffic honking at you because your trying to merge onto the freeway , ... fact is ..if its company owned it will never see the potential like this ...it will just be another shiny turd in everyone's way ...

    The kenworth need to bring a LED headlight , the DF has but the kenworth:-(( they are kind slow thinking, freightliner, Volvo and International all ready have one, they all ways behind developing new truck the kenworth, if day want to be 1st truck or Number 1% truck day have to come 1st not last :-((( seems like they're copying the technology because Day always last one to bring in the trucks, they need to fire the engineers, i'm hired the really ones lol

    I drive a 2017 t880 dump truck 1 drop axle.
    has the turn radius of a turd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! will not turn worth a crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
