That was an authentic 1870 Martin guitar on loan from the Martin Guitar Museum in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. I love this movie and this song!
I've watched this movie EVERY Christmas Eve late night while eating BEEF stew during the stew scene..since 2017 it has become a holiday TRADITION it is my FAVORITE Tarantino movie
I pick the coldest weekend to watch this movie every year with an entire meal. Hooray to this tradition 😂🥂
Best dang western movie ever produced.
Such a beautiful movie and singing
Surprisingly, a lot of people would still rather drown in misery than go to New South Wales.
As much as I love her real reaction to the guitar getting smashed, Daisy wouldn't react to it like that
Yeah she wouldn't care at all
u can even hear her voice tone change loooooool that was a genuine freakout
I agree
It was jennifer reacting ...not the character ...she was just shocked about the guitar getting smashed, Quentin let it in and didn't edit it
@@brianblackwell4206 That's what I said
The character break at the end when that guitar is smashed...gold.
Funny fact, this guitar was on loan from a museum, apparently some genuine 19th century rare guitar, which was supposed to be replaced with a knock off before smashing it. her reaction was genuine because she knew he wasn't supposed to smash the real guitar
esta canción me encanta!!!
Dolores Claiborne’s daughter to Daisy Domergue.
“When you get there John…..tell ‘em Daisy sent cha.” She was so good in that movie. 😏
That guitar was over a hundred years old, what the fuck, Kurt??? lol
One of the craziest villain scenes I’ve ever seen
I loved this song 🥺
Off of Daisy Domergue's double platinum album...
Who knew that Jennifer Jason Leigh could sing so well?
Cuando salió esta escena comencé a amar esta película
3:29 When Kurt russel crash the guitar, the reaction of the women is authentic, she looks at Tarantino’s crew. This was a 1870 guitar borrowed from a museum. The crew forgot to say to Kurt russel that he was supposed to crash a copy of this guitar on an other take
Love this movie even better the second time aroundq
funny thin is I looked up versions of this song and found that hers is the best version, best voice etc
3:34 Jennifer Jason Leigh legit freaking out
Fun fact, that guitar was 145 yo, and it was not supposed to be broken but there was a misunderstanding and the actor didn't know there should be a pause to exchange the guitar. So her reaction it's actually real because she did apreciate the guitar
what beautiful masterpiece
@Kay Mitchell wait then how can you condem a scene then love it 5 seconds later?
We loose a piece of a best guitar but... That scene, that song is so powerful, it's like, the destruction of that museum piece was accepted by the guitar herself
"they open fire and somehow drove that pirate ship awayy.... I reather join the pirat ship then come to boteny bay....." man I wish he join that pirat ship lol
This song low-key fire
2021 anyone??
Interestingly enough, there was a Guitar Center ad before this video.
I sang this song in my village 😍
Christmas Special
Beautiful movie
"and you'll be dead behind me john, when I get to mexicooo" that last verse lol. nice foreshadowing
Not really foreshadowing? We've already seen him drink the poison so we know he's going to die, and she doesn't make it to mexico
Seconds later: rip guitar
Very cool. Great flick; just saw it yesterday.
The camera work in this scene is badass
masterpiece!
Just how talented is she at everything? God what a role this was.
The song isn’t hard to play
la mejor escena de todos los tiempos
This is an Australian song from the 18th century about convicts arriving as slaves to the country. It’s a very beautiful song, in a tragic kind of way.
Nothing hits emotionally harder than pure Australian convict ballads
I am guessing by Daisy's reaction that smashing the guitar was not really in the scrip, lol.
The songs lyrics are cool too. How convicts in england were sent to the penal colony of Australia back then as their punishment. And what a nightmare it must've been.
Her reaction was so real hahaha
It literally was! The guitar was an antique, accidentally smashed :O
Yes such a genuine moment captured
Yea, Quentin told her he was gonna cut before the guitar smash, but didn't cause he wanted a real reaction.
@Delvin Silas that's possible, but if he did that on purpose he's a total ass hat with no respect for anything but his own ego. That said, I truly hope it was an accident....
