You are for real. It gave me a light bulb moment. Been home too long and not on the scene even on blogs. Lucky I found you on RUclips. Etsy is where my art will flourish. Being poor is never easy.but you still have a lot to give when you see a loved one sick and disheartened. Thank you for showing a way out.....
Having spent what feels like weeks researching this, you are by far the best RUclipsr on this topic. Really concise and to the point, I don't have to scroll a few minutes in to get to the start of why I clicked on the video. I've already taken so many tips from you and my shop already looks way better for it. Thank you so much for what you're doing, keep it up!
Thank you very much! This was by far the most succinctly put way to make me feel far more confident about creating my shop! And a lot of the tips are universal I'm an artist who might be selling just about everything except wall art lol😂 thank you very much!
Can you explain how to size for a white border for matting and framing vs. full bleed/ printing crop marks, etc.? I have original artworks and would like to sell digital prints. I keep seeing videos that show you how to sell art prints, but the art is always floating on a white (or solid colored) background and is very easy to re-size. I have a Canva Pro account but am stuck on the borders, crop marks, etc. Thanks!
I’m really interested in doing printable art work. Can you use items from creative market place to make your artwork? Do have to know how do graphic design to create printable art work also?
Hi brandon, I have a question for you. I have a little over 60 listings right now. I sadly haven't been making sales (don't know what the missing factor is), but I was wondering if I should delete some listings. I currently have different styles of printable art in my shop. When I started I had a heavy focus on floral art, but since it's so extremely saturated I started experimenting. I would make designs in batches and now I have about 4 styles in my shop. I would say that what they have in common is that they're all colorful designs, but that's about it. Is it better to keep all the designs, because I'm not making sales yet so it could be that one of the styles takes off. Or should I choose one style and stick with making new listings for that style only so that I 'specialize' in one style and have a cleaner shop?
Hey there, You didn't ask me, but since Brandon ignores, please let me answer. My opinion is the more you offer the better at the end of the day. If you have different styles, just organize them into separate categories of shop. If you start selling only one style, you'll narrow your potential audience to people who like only this style so it's not a good practice I think. Much more important things you should consider are: 1. Thumbnail pictures + mockups + large scale + options (that's all were said in this video); 2. Keywords - not only in a title but in the Tags area; 3) Good description - create a story for your picture; 4) Personalisation - on Etsy people like to buy from other people, not from businesses. Only when you start selling and get some statistic of sales, you can decide about which style is popular, which not so.
Success is not final; failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Business opportunities are like buses, there’s always another one coming.
Love your channel. I just started an etsy store, but I stumbled upon a problem. Where can I buy high quality elements that I can use on canava ? Example like different colours toys elements that I can use on a canva design .... Thanks bro
@@brandontimothy I said this on your last vid but my comment got deleted. The creators selling great mockups on CM are also selling on Etsy and usually cheaper for some reason.

Incredibly helpful tips. Appreciate the video.
Heyy. So suppose I create the artwork on Photoshop, which format should I export it in so it has the best quality in? and also what about Illustrator.
I usually just export in JPEG when designing from photoshop :)

Hi Brandon, thanks for a great video! May I ask which file format do you use for your digital products, RGB or CMYK? Thanks!
I personally use Jpeg and RGB. Thanks for watching!
@@brandontimothy Thank you for a quick reply! 😊
New here. How did she insert the large banner at the top?
Hi! Love the video. Can you tell me how some shops are able to sell prints of famous art? For example Matisse or Van Gogh?
Matisse and Van Gogh are in the public domain

So what about copyright? I don’t want anyone to steal my artwork that I make and sell it on their own..
Wow thank you for this video

When uploading digital files, should it be jpeg or pdf, which is better for buyers?
Both are good, just depends on what type of end product you have!

I use creative market for graphic elements, you can upload them to Canva too! I have a link in my descriptions if you want to check it out
@@brandontimothy thank you so much..
Have a great day my fellow entrepreneur ✌👍
Great info thank u!!!
If you're selling the product for $3/4.00 then how much profit you will make, bcoz u have to pay Etsy also right?
This was a year ago… do you think this info all is still relevant or has selling art on Etsy changed in the past year?
Fantastic content, im watching on my TV, the constant zooming in and out is a bit annoying though
Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Creative market
Hi Brandon, thanks for sharing! 😁can I connect with you? i am also youtube and am talking about etsy
How come you don't want people to know they can get the same mockups from creative market, on etsy, for cheaper?
I haven’t personally bought any mock-ups on Etsy before. But it’s totally up to you!

Oh wow I didn't know! That's amazing if it's cheaper. Just make sure you get the right licensing for what you need it for.
