Yes, there is the Thor-Loki connection, but I see a more biblical connection, a redemption. Keldor (Cain) =Samson/Joseph. What if Skeltor, in the very end, becomes the ruler but not the king, e.g., Joseph. Once he has all he believes he deserves, with his enemies on their knees, he remembers what it means to be noble. He pines for his brother's friendship and love and admires his forgiveness and empathy. Suddenly, his path is clear; he will restore his honor and rekindle the brotherhood and fellowship he once had with his brother. He relinquishes rule and sets off to do what he was destined to do. His 'true' calling wasn't to rule but to protect. He seeks the one true evil in the universe, Hordak. Will the He-Man and the Master of the Universe follow their former enemy, or will they allow him to seek his destiny alone?
I don't agree with these origin stories of Skeletor, they are lame and not accurate. Skeletor is alot more powerful then these writers make him out to be..Skeletor is greater then Hordack for the fact that Hordak gets beet up by a woman all the time, Skeletor face off against the most powerful man in the universe and sometimes wins. Skeletor's magic is stroner then Hordak's, all I see Hordak do is change his shape like a shape-shifter. Hordak playing avatar to Hord Prime losing to faries from the forest looks prity week, in comarison to the royal guard and army that Skeletor fights. Hordak serves Hord Prime, Skeletor serves the forces of Evil such as Death and Destruction. Skeletor is the avatar of Death, his face clearly shows that. He may have bin mortal at one time, and then resurrected with a purpose like Thanos in marvel comics.Their is no telling how old Skeletor realy is, we do know he is from another dimension and may have travelled in time and plays an important prat of balancing the universe. I think that Skeletor has bin fighting the forces of good for so long that even he can't remember where he is from and dosen't care, only thing that maters is ruling the universe.This the real Skeletor truth... Not thes dumb stories
