Hewitt Technologies. Read the FAQ about the ‘Cold Start Sequence’. About the only fix. I have a 2007 Sequoia with the 4.7L. What I have to do every morning during winter and it works. Sucks. But it works.
I also have this problem on my 2006 4unner limited with the 4.7L as well. Ive replaced all components and still comes on..... Still scratching my head on this one. Wonder if the techs can just reflash the ECU maybe?

I have this problem with my wife’s 2006 GX. Does it matter how long you warm it up before you restart it?
Lets just say until it the heater starts blowing warm air. 10 min??
