Pixl Potato Before Hyperion, Pandora used to be so... Free. Wanna decapitate a Psycho? Go right ahead. It's desert like planet gave a good feeling to your heart. I just can't put this feeling into words.
+The Robo-nator 3000 Yeah I 100% agree. In the first episode Pandora was violent, creepy, dirty, but free. The atmosphere was amazing, like Mad-Max, where the rules were abolished, nothing but the guns and the dust...
I always wondered where this lawsuit would be filed. Like... Does it get disputed on earth with earthly laws? Is it disputed in Opportunity with Hyperion's laws? Etc.
Pure depression manifested as happiness and nostalgia. That's what this song means to me. Coming from a broken and fucked up home, this song would play in the background along side sanctuary theme, flamerocks theme, and a few other perfect themes. The reason why this song is depression is because of how much I craved to be in a world like this. No laws, no morals or guidance, just you against everything. I miss the thought of Pandora being a wasteland, and I sometimes still crave this world when I'm down and depressed. It's soothing in a way that only you can understand. This is especially true for me
Something that would have been so dope would be if they let us explore the whole Arid Badlands map maybe let us go all the way to new Haven or the arid hills just to see if Jack had done anything to those places
Man I remember first hearing this song and absolutely loosing it in nostalgia for a game that was only out for 3 years at the time... Then again it felt like Welcome to Fyrestone was one of like four tracks in BL1.
My experience with fyrestone in BL1: Wow.... I never felt so at home here....never realized how much of a misfit I felt IRL society. My experience with Fyrestone in BL2: WHAT DID THAT HANDSOME FASCIST DO TO MY HOME!?!?
don't feel as bad, BL2 is the best game of the 3 the first one was the introduction to life on Pandora, the unique humor associated with the characters and provided a stepping stone to a great series the second brought out Gearbox's A game and improved what was already a fantastic game as well as introducing DLC characters the 3rd game...........well..........it tried, it really did but it did some things right like the Cryo element as well as Laser weapons
ThexZeldaxChampx90 I feel like the pre sequel would be better if it just had more stuff. the games really small but they did make improvements from bl2
So empty and so dead... I played Borderlands since the first game, I really liked that Arid Badlands theme, and when I first came to the arid nexus, hearing this while searching for the Zed's Echo logs... that was kinda depressing
Hearing this again has made me want to put down Overwatch for a bit and start farming again to get the rest of my pealescent weapons and the twister and then jump back into finishing Pre-Sequel.
guys, in the description, 16 Characters or Less says that on the 2nd of February, it was their birthday. In 2021, we should all come back to this video and wish them a happy birthday :D
I'm an audial af, so when I first heard that, I instantly thought "hmm, why does it sound so familiar..?" And THEN after a hour of playing when I got to the Fyrestone town, it hit me in the head "OMG it's the town from the first game, that's why!" They did excellent job with remaking the original theme
Still a banger, I remember when I got to the badlands, I tell you, I paused my game just to put this theme on and rode my bike, it hits much differently than any other borderlands theme
As I when or we all exit the safety we all knew shit was going to go down. Died on my first groups of skag didnt know what they were but it was a sign to be prepare for the worsts..
In borderlands 1 I played as mordacai in 2 I played as axton in 3 I played as amara oh yeah I forgot in pre sequal I played as aurailia AH THE MEMORIES *memories of the first game trigger*
If Gearbox ever loses sight of what "Borderlands" is...they need to just listen to this song for a few hours.
Hope Gearbox listens to this song then cuz B3's story needed more of this.
Edd Girmay I agree
We got some bad news for you.
Hell yea.. This song IS Borderlands
Oh well, gearbox lost sight of borderlands when they decided the story of bl3.
Best song in the game, in my opinion.
Considering that, to me, Fyrestone is the quintessential "Borderlands song".
+Maso It sure was one of the best soundtracks, especially for this nostalgic feeling.
Maso yup same feelings here, when i remember BL i remember this
This one is also beautifully made, without excluding any of the great details from the original.
...absolutely.
Funny isn't it? The beginning of one journey, marks the end of another.
+Pixl Potato That would be the definition of a sequel.
you wrote the same comments on both videos
@@MightyVODS Funny isn't it?
It's closer than you think! (It actually isn't.)
Rest in peace, Arid Badlands. Those Hyperion bastards got whats comin' for them....
The Robo-nator 3000 The beginning of 1 game is the end of another...

karekas! Yeah, why?

THAN HANDSOME BASTARD
When i realised where i was, it wasnt by the setting but the music. Then i saw the graveyard and TK's shack. Chills
Welcome to fyrestone.....
Welcome to nostalgia
Hello traveller

This should be borderlands 3 loading screen background song.
Wellllllll
whelp
Hyperion's going to pay billions in legal fees onece this hits the courts.
bold of you to assume pandora has a legal system
I always wondered where this lawsuit would be filed. Like... Does it get disputed on earth with earthly laws? Is it disputed in Opportunity with Hyperion's laws? Etc.
the feel when you 1st step into the waste land.
Damn, nostalgia is a powerful thing.
It really is
What character did you play as in the first game?
I played as Mordacai
And this game was only 3 years old!
@@ikaguraNostalgia for the first game's "Welcome to Fyrestone" track not the second game's
0:49 is where the real nostalgia hits...
Smiled when I first heard this in Borderlands 2. Too bad the Badass Constructor and Saturn are both hard af to beat and killed that smile immediately
Easy. Get fuckin good.
I remember going “oh it’s the fyrestone music!” Then “WAIT THIS IS FYRESTONE NO WAY!”
I started playing yesterday with zero knowledge about the franchise and im already in total love with this gem
what a gem
omg zero 😍😍
have you finished the game yet
"Howdy there, I'm Android 13. LOOK at my trucker hat"
rest in rip green claptrap near the loot chest
This and flamefrock refuge are my 2 favorite tracks in borderlands 2.thanks for uploading the extended version.
I like three horns
You have good taste

First time hearing this: This sounds familiar....OMG it's the Fyrestone theme! All the feels!
lmao, absolutely the same feels and thoughts

It got blown up
This is what i wanted in BL3, but no, no we dont get it.
Man I remember first hearing this song and absolutely loosing it in nostalgia for a game that was only out for 3 years at the time... Then again it felt like Welcome to Fyrestone was one of like four tracks in BL1.
I'm really glad the put this zone in Claptastic Voyage. The music in Fyrestone is so good.
My experience with fyrestone in BL1: Wow.... I never felt so at home here....never realized how much of a misfit I felt IRL society.
My experience with Fyrestone in BL2: WHAT DID THAT HANDSOME FASCIST DO TO MY HOME!?!?
"Handsome fascist"
Nice
Simple. Nostalgic. PERFECT.
This is giving me that TWD S1 feels.
It's a shame I played the sequel before the first game. Now I don't feel nearly as nostalgic.
don't feel as bad, BL2 is the best game of the 3

Agreed
Timo de Wit well this is what happens after a while when there are people living in a wasteland, they improve upon it, make it not a wasteland...
Dahl's Lost Legion is probably one of Best factions for me in the whole game series. The Crimson Lance faction comes at second place.
2018 and still one of the best intro songs ever heard
2023...still stands strong 💪
I'm listening to this while driving in the droughts to bring back memories.
God dang, this really hit hard on making the song feel like an arid area.
Ones of the best tracks in the game
I listened to this while wondering the wasteland in ARK Survival Evolved extinction, and this song never fit so perfectly well for it!
This is the number one rock in Borderlands 3.
best music in the game. reminds me of starcraft too for some reason

I have a fascination with replaying this game, no matter how many times i beat it..
IT'S
NEVER
BORING
I feel like the guitar motif/melody could be used in a song really well.
its got that reverb and multi channel audio perfected
We need the arid badlands in borderlands 3
I'm an audial af, so when I first heard that, I instantly thought "hmm, why does it sound so familiar..?"

Hey man! Happy birthday ^^ Internet does not forget. :)
Man, no kidding. Thank you!
Happy birthday
This is the music we’re fyrestone was
Very sad 😔
Playing Zer0 here is like playing Mordecai all over again...
Thank you, 2K, for the memories.
Best song in the game bar none. Nothing like the feel of the first game and the wasteland as a whole.
Good track to listen to on a hellishly hot summer day.
Still a banger, I remember when I got to the badlands, I tell you, I paused my game just to put this theme on and rode my bike, it hits much differently than any other borderlands theme
After I heard this in game, I had to look it up. I get some serious Starcraft 1 vibes from this track. Very nostalgic.
I miss this game..
Why? you can literally go play it on Steam RIGHT NOW if you have it!
It felt good to return to Frystone
Nostalgia of the arid badlands music
happy birthday i guess lmao
Hey, thanks.
Nostalgia
I'm redownloading Borderlands 2 just to go back for myself and hear it from the game... the memories 😭 leave a like if this shit hits home real hard 😂
lm Odyssey its even better on the first game trust me it brings back so many memories
I should call this place a new Banditsville....
nostalgia

Hello traveler!
❤❤
Someone please tell me how to fucking get here. I want to hear my friend shriek with nostalgia so goddamn bad.
Oh, and happy B-day Steve. ^_^
It's near the end of the game dude. Once you hit the mission Data Mining, you'll be in the Arid Nexus - Badlands.
To me this version of Fyrestone is better than the original, it just does a better job of bringing the original feeling of the original Fyrestone.
In borderlands 1 I played as mordacai in 2 I played as axton in 3 I played as amara oh yeah I forgot in pre sequal I played as aurailia AH THE MEMORIES

This song reminds of how the pan looks after you make fried chicken.

love it, but borderlands 1 is in my o, the best.
1:11 to 1:32
Get it out of my bus
This is better than welcome to fyrestone
agree
I disagree
Those are bold words for someone in Orbital Mac Range
This gives off Puscifer Vibes for me Idk why lol
for the 3rd game they should let us go back to the first game's entire world
nah maybe a DLC a free one
How about a return to the Southern Shelf in BL3?
