Really sounds like something from The Witcher to me. Love this track, when it first played, I put off progressing the story and just wandered around town listening to it.
I love that part in the dlc when Tina accepts that Roland is dead then Lilith tells he can live in her game cannot remember how it went out but it was nice
2 years later and I still listen to this ost to sleep soundly. Thank god for whoever dis this piece of art and thank god for making me able to hear such a profound music
After beating the DLC, and returning to Flamerock (after many feels being torn), it was very nice to sit back and just watch the blue skies and listen.
Played Borderlands 2 on release when I was 12 years old and totally fell in love with the game and all its DLCs. I don't think I'm ever going to stop coming back to this gorgeous track.
Inside the Moxxi's bar or inn is a painting on the wall. It is a painting of the town of Flamerock. Buildings in the center square. If you look at the painting closely you will read a sign in the painting that says Fyrestone. Firestone is the name of the starting town of Borderlands. Flamerock=Firestone
This is a very interesting track. As others have said, it totallly feels like it belongs in a more traditional RPG, but ... what's interesting is that intertwined with the beautiful composition is that stringed instrument that sounds like something very traditional chinese. LOVE this track. LOVE the diversity of sounds and instruments used in it.
This DLC was definitely awesome! Had a lot of elements that filled me with nostalgia for the classic RPGs as well as a lot of really funny satire on RPGs. This was one of my favourite soundtracks, tyvm for uploading!! :)
To be honest I thought that plot point of Tina being devastated about Roland dying was emotionally manipulative. Like, how many hundreds of thousands of people and animals has Roland murdered? And how many MILLIONS has Tina tortured, maimed, then murdered? Lol seriously. And I'm supposed to feel sorry when they die now? Sure.
Damn this reminds me of playing with my homies back when I was younger this song hits in a way it shouldn’t it’s both nostalgic and amazing I can’t help but listen to this alot
God this music , gives me similar feels like near automata's music does , such a good job they did good job ; ( . The music sounds mystical even spooky but at the same time serene and warm :3
If you really want that, I'm pretty sure you could just look up the method to get those songs yourself and loop them as many times as you desire. I pulled these songs straight from the game files using instructions I found on a Borderlands forum. It's complicated, but it's just a matter of pressing a few buttons in order, then finding the one which corresponds to your choice.
Just started wonderlands and was wondering the same thing. The Overworld theme is alright but the rest is forgettable. I guess having a better story than 3 is the trade off for having a worse soundtrack. 3 killed it with its 3 (or more) composers.
The Terrible Turophile fine, then hate yotaslaya, but dont hate his family, the money that they have been gettings also depends on his channel because of his subs, his two children rly on this channel so hate him not the family
I was so knocked out my boots when I arrived at Flamerock and heard this song! The whole soundtrack was the best of all bl2. And when TTW was announced I thought it would be Jesper Kyd to deliver the OST again. Pre-ordered, and got the disappointment of my life. I'll only purchase future Gearbox releases, when I watched at least a gameplay demo. Effing embracer group, everything's becoming poor and sloppy in the releases ever since they took over. Not that the TTW OST is particularly bad, but it's just not a Jesper Kyd OST 😕😟
Can someone seriously try your best to persuade to buy bl3. I wana believe they can still make the game as good as bl2. God this game was fucking thrilling, I must of had 1000s of hours in this game. Wow
The headhunters were definitely least spectacular, imo because they only had like 15 minute main missions, but still had beautiful art design. Hamerlocks hunt wasn't that good because the humour was few and far between and the setting really wasn't fun to traverse through; although I love the ending.
The town's name is totally not a reference to what? Oh nevermind, now I got it hehe That being so, BL3 maks bad use of Sanctuary 3 simply because toda'ys developers can't possibly come up with something new, as memorable as its predecessors, besides, it should be Sanctuary 5 if you include Flamerock Refuge and The Backburner.
"NEW MISSION! I WANT YOU TO BLOW UP THE OCEAN!!"
*(Equips Nukem)*
Really sounds like something from The Witcher to me. Love this track, when it first played, I put off progressing the story and just wandered around town listening to it.
When I first heard this track I thought of "River of Life" from The Witcher too.
Now that i think about it, it does sound like witcher, when i first heard it i was thinking of Chrono Cross
Drajzool yes! It does sound like chrono cross! I love that game so much.
Lol thats what im doing
best dlc ever. Best story for players, never feel that in another game.
I like claptastic voyage a little bit more, but this one is definitely second imo.
This song is just so well done.
I sat in Flamerock just listening to this when DLC dropped...
😢 same
I love that part in the dlc when Tina accepts that Roland is dead then Lilith tells he can live in her game cannot remember how it went out but it was nice
Just beat the DLC, and I can tell you that it is pretty heart-tugging. Loved every second of it.
the end of the DLC has a pretty dramatic tone it, and it worked very well. I was glad they didn't decide to work Roland and Bloodwing into some joke.
Lilith says "ENOUGH" and then Tina breaks down but then everyone comforts her and then say that she should continue and ugh it's so gooooood
Twas
I hope they make a second Bunkers & Badasses in the new BL3 dlc
still listen to this song weekly. best dlc.
what about now
M lol if he replies it’ll make my fucking week
@@user-ie6ti2wx5c he's probably dead F
Wb now 😔 RIP Tyler
still the best dlc. Don't @ me
Im still here. This dlc is one of the best in my entire gaming career
2 years later, still here. i'm not kidding this song changed me
2 years later and I still listen to this ost to sleep soundly. Thank god for whoever dis this piece of art and thank god for making me able to hear such a profound music
I like how they looked at Rolands 'and Bloodwings' deaths seriously. Under that funny surface there's a serious undertone , i love it .
After beating the DLC, and returning to Flamerock (after many feels being torn), it was very nice to sit back and just watch the blue skies and listen.

Firestone is the name of the starting town of Borderlands. Flamerock=Firestone
Flamerock is basically a fancier name for Fyrestone
But, We visit fyerstone in BL2...It''s in the Arid Nexus.
its imagined by tina , so it s only in her head , not the real one dho
Technically its Jacksville now xD
Ya and refuge = sanctuary. Duh
This DLC is every five star RPG to ever exist put into one campaign .
I love listening to this while i fall asleep
What an absolute banger of a track.

i think its definitely an Erhu but i cant find any other examples of it being used that way.
"it smells like butts and homeless people." *"SMELLS LIKE HOME!!!"*
where is this quote from ?
@@darkhawk7639 from the beginning of this DLC, if you'll play as Krieg
Washitonians and Californians be like

This DLC was definitely awesome! Had a lot of elements that filled me with nostalgia for the classic RPGs as well as a lot of really funny satire on RPGs. This was one of my favourite soundtracks, tyvm for uploading!! :)
the best parts were the references to gaming culture with the loot ninja's, the griefers, and the Crestfallen Player.
Such a good song, even better series and dlc, I will cherish it in memory my whole life.
This song gets to me. Best song in Borderlands 2, as for Borderlands 1... has to be Skag Gully Action. Give it a listen! :D
Better than the main menu theme, amirite?
That was a great track thank you for that tiny bit of nostalgia. :)
MoOoOoOoooo
It's been five years since the first time I heard this soundtrack, and it brings back so many memories...
Who’s listening in 2020 and missing borderlands 2 like crazy?!
2022 over here lol

Does anybody else get, end theme for legend of korra, vibes from this?
Jelle Crommentuijn I love Legend Of Korra so much, I absolutely loved the ending... Korrasami
+JAYDOG1337A Same it was about time they got together
Jelle Crommentuijn this comment is prophetic, I just came here from listening to that!
I was literally looking for this song after watching the ending to a Korra episode lol
yess thank you im not the only one
Damn this reminds me of playing with my homies back when I was younger this song hits in a way it shouldn’t it’s both nostalgic and amazing I can’t help but listen to this alot

normally i hear electronic music but this is awesome too
Thank you for the upload. I can't understand what Gearbox are thinking, not releasing the soundtrack for the DLC:s. It's so good.
Why was borderlands 2 one of the best fantasy RPGs I've ever played lol
God this music , gives me similar feels like near automata's music does , such a good job they did good job ; ( . The music sounds mystical even spooky but at the same time serene and warm :3
I notice alot of similarities with soundtracks from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
Love the Asian music mix its what really makes beautiful
Flamerock Refuge is my favorite. Thanks for uploading!
Skyrim vibes
Second best DLC I've ever played, right after the Citadel DLC from Mass effect 3
JAYDOG1337A Haven't played Mass Effect yet, so it's #1 for me =D
Antis14CZ you should play the whole trilogy, great series
JAYDOG1337A I know, I know... One day =)
+JAYDOG1337A I'll second that. This the Citadel and Mother Ship Zeta from Fallout 3 are my faves.
+JAYDOG1337A Honestly, I preferred The Hunter's Grotto dlc to this, it was more me.
This reminds me of Skyrim
Thank you for the upload !
This song sounds like peace
So dang beautiful.
I remember gambling in the tavern to this tune, i once got a pearl from one of the machines, good times :)
they made this a banger for no reason
Can someone loop this so it goes 5 times instead of just 2? It's nice to fall asleep to but 2 is too short sometimes
If you really want that, I'm pretty sure you could just look up the method to get those songs yourself and loop them as many times as you desire. I pulled these songs straight from the game files using instructions I found on a Borderlands forum.

Replace youtube with listenonrepeat, in the url, ive been sleeping to this as well
I know this is four years old but you can right click on a video and click loop and it'll keep looping forever
2:49 Sounds like Avatar
i always thought, reminded me of the music from legend of aang and korra
+Jon Car yeaa sounds straight from korra
Funny, Opportunity always sounded more like Avatar the last Airbender
JayTee I tought i was the only one who is getting the vibes of it
Playing B3 while listening to this on repeat :P
lowkey this helps me fall
asleep at night
Thanks so much or uploading these; phenomenal soundtrack!
The most fucking fascinating theme in a whole the damn game!!! Love iT!
😭 Roland
Blood wing too… 😔
I used this as my backing musing for DnD while my group was in a halfling village.
What other locations would you use it in?
Giving me some strong ATLA vibes!
god tier bideo james music
hands down the best dlc
Love to listen this playing with my Krieg
You even break pots, Zelda-style.
I never came back to Sanctuary and other main story maps after completing this dlc.

This shit is goooooooooood
id say second best sadly. But gotta love that "This aint no place for no hero!"
Borderlands 3 DLC’s better live up to this one, oh wait, they can’t, because this is the best DLC
Agreed playing now actually so fun such a timeless experience
Japan Yen Gearbox’s last two big DLCs were Dragon Keep and Claptastic Voyage, the two best Borderlands DLCs. I have very high hopes.
Peaceful to me... Well, at some points
Flame Rock
Fire Stone
Huh
EDIT: I've been looking through the comments and almost no one noticed it... :/ I'm really disappointed
The Terrible Turophile lmfao
It's pretty obvious...
I can literraly show you at least a dozen comments 2 years older than this comment that disproves your idea that nobody pointed it out
sorta reminds me of Beyond good and Evil in some parts and some more like the Witcher
Finna sample it
smh how did this song outsonged tiny tina wonderlands????
2021 gang
I wanna listen symphony version with real orchestra :)) !
Such incredible music in this DLC. What the hell happened to music in Wonderlands?
Just started wonderlands and was wondering the same thing. The Overworld theme is alright but the rest is forgettable. I guess having a better story than 3 is the trade off for having a worse soundtrack. 3 killed it with its 3 (or more) composers.
Give me Legend of Korra vibes. Say what you will about the series, but it had a pretty great soundtrack

Is it a weird thing that I could kill the enemies in the Unassuming Docks when I was at level 24? It was difficult, sure, but I could do it.
Just shoot their heads off and watch them run around like idiots :D
If you're good enough you can do anything. I once beat the skeletons at level 10
Well the DLC IS fantasy based. I won't be surprised.

Hi, whats the town name a reference to?
Estuways It's a reference to the first town of the first game, and you visit it in the second game. Good old Firestone.
Neko Chiyu I am a well educated person... and I feel stupid for only just getting that reference
+JAYDOG1337A I never noticed it until now actually, never paid the name any attention.
