The first time I played BL2, I heard this guitar melody start and instantly knew where I was. I didn’t recognize the area after what Jack and Hyperion did to it. It angered and saddened me, since Fyrestone was everyone’s introduction to Pandora. That gives it a special place with fans of the series.

To me this version of Fyrestone is better than the original, it just does a better job of bringing the original feeling of the original Fyrestone.

Pure depression manifested as happiness and nostalgia. That's what this song means to me. Coming from a broken and fucked up home, this song would play in the background along side sanctuary theme, flamerocks theme, and a few other perfect themes. The reason why this song is depression is because of how much I craved to be in a world like this. No laws, no morals or guidance, just you against everything. I miss the thought of Pandora being a wasteland, and I sometimes still crave this world when I'm down and depressed. It's soothing in a way that only you can understand. This is especially true for me

Nostalgia of the arid badlands music

Still a banger, I remember when I got to the badlands, I tell you, I paused my game just to put this theme on and rode my bike, it hits much differently than any other borderlands theme

So empty and so dead... I played Borderlands since the first game, I really liked that Arid Badlands theme, and when I first came to the arid nexus, hearing this while searching for the Zed's Echo logs... that was kinda depressing

I'm an audial af, so when I first heard that, I instantly thought "hmm, why does it sound so familiar..?" And THEN after a hour of playing when I got to the Fyrestone town, it hit me in the head "OMG it's the town from the first game, that's why!" They did excellent job with remaking the original theme
