Where the challenge is to take a look at pictures of 2 people, and guess if they're either Siblings or Dating.. Or both..
But! With a little twist. If you guess wrong, you need to take a shot! Making the game progressively more difficult as it goes on!

Here is the ultimate startegy :
First rule: If they look alike they are dating and if they don't they are siblings.
Second rule: If they are touchy they are siblings if not dating.
With this strategy of mine i can guess everyone in the video, with one exepction being the siblings at 7:30. I also can guess very quickly.
The reason why this strategy works is because if you don't follow thoses rules you don't have a reason to post the picture.
I think to reslove this problem you should find places with only clear picture of siblings or couple, and then mix 50% of them into the game. And i think if you do that then there is no good startegy to guess.

Indeed. That's the very meta of the page. Couples submit their pictures because they have a reasonable expectation of being mistaken for siblings, and siblings submit their photos because they don't look much alike and it isn't likely people would think they were related. The solutions then, is to just guess the *opposite* of what your first impression is. Which is what peter did, and why he won.

I’m European and even tho I’m not exactly close with my siblings, I’ve seen plenty of siblings act this way. Idk why interactions like this are such a shock to them, especially when there’s also plenty of movie/tv show characters in US who act like that or even US influencers. Like why is it such a shock, it always have been normal, healthy sibling relationship in my opinion

For real though, I almost never put my phone down with the screen turned up, and that has nothing to do with me trying to hide anything.
With the screen down the phone doesn't distract me as much. I also feel like it signals more that my attention is on the people around me than if the phone were screen side up.

As an added bonus the screen side is more smooth, so I can spin the phone like a fidget spinner...

Quarterjade is correct with her theory about people looking similar when dating. We often find someone that looks similar to ourselves because they have features that we are accustomed to seeing on a daily.
It's actually common for people to like others who look like themselves. This is called familiarity; we tend to trust people who look like people we've trusted before including ourselves. It's usually not a narcistic fetish as some may think, just part of evolution; you can find the same behaviour within other species too.

After the first like two images it seemed pretty easy to spot.
Whenever they look alike, same eye colour, same curly hair, same facial features, you assume they're siblings but you go for dating.
When they don't look alike like one of the last images where there was a brunette and a blonde you think "they look nothing like each other, they must be dating!", you go for siblings.

I feel like me and my sister would be a hard case to figure out on this cause we look completely opposite, have opposite styles, look roughly the same age even tho we are 5 years apart, but are very affectionate xD I always find it interesting that everyone that Ive seen playing this (mostly americans or americans of asian descent) think its insane to hug a sibling. To me, as a latina, is the most normal thing ever xD
Yeah I don't get it why other families aren't closer. Me and my cousins are all very close, we lean on each other as a greeting and dog pile the couch. There's no sexual tension, we're fucking family.

Watching this over again, I’d say that the key to the game is to look for things that people wouldn’t seem the need to change, but also are exposed to the keen eye. For instance, look at either their eyebrows, hairline, or ears.
They should occasionally have pics from one of those southern states that gets incest jokes all the time where the answer is both.

I remember hearing a theory on that. It was centered on the idea of an empathetic mirroring type of behavior. So, if you see it as a gradient from one partner to the other, they move closer to the middle of the two.
