I so agree. I’m 48 and I had the pleasure of growing up in the 80s. My 8 year old son loves 80s music and thinks music today is not good. Oh, he’s a huge Michael Jackson fan too. I’m bringing him up well 😊
This song defined Michael as a spirit from another world. You can hear in him, the pain of growing old, being lonely, feeing disconnected. Long before the internet created time for us, Michael knew, time waited for no one.

@@dingolaystar3873 Aww. . .I was UP thinkin bout all the good times we had with each OTHER b4 got sick real bad with the Covid & Pneumonia.Her lungs collapsed while she was on the ventilator in the hospital 2-3 weeks.She passed away early Wednesday morning May 5th.I cried 10-15 minutes thinkin bout her bein gone from me a whole month

Its crazy how most of the comments just talks about mike and not about the whole group, just because hes the lead singer doesnt mean its his song
The song was written by Randy and Jackie Jackson. Michael is obviously the lead, and sings with feeling and emotion (as usual!) But many- myself included- feel his brother's simple chord changes in the closing chorus is the poignant part of the song.
