Today I went with my three best friends To the Dortmund Christmas market where the Tallest Christmas tree in the world is .the tree is also in the Guinness book of world records . I was an absolute nice Christmas market the weather was great we also visit the German soccer museum

I spent 2 1/2 years in Zweibrueken Germany in the US Army in the early 1960's. The Soviets started building the Berlin wall on my birthday. I worked with German civilians in an accounting office. I made many German friends, enjoyed the
German cuisine and culture. Christmas was a special time.

You can be happy wherever you are. It is a mindset thing.
Only if your life is constantly threatened by something, like for example it is for the people of Ukraine right now, I think then it becomes quite hard to stay positive.
And I wish them that they can win their country back soon, so that they soon can live happily again.
But it can also have to do with things in the brain chemistry. Certain things can influence the brain, so that it becomes impossible to think positively. This can end up in a medical condition called "Depression". Even certain foods can affect the brain chemistry negatively. But there are some other things that can lead to a depression too, like constant negative thinking, or substance abuse, etc.

Great video, Mike. I’ve been in California too long...watching all the pretty girls walk by makes me miss the cold weather a little bit. There are so many girls out here who just leave zero to the imagination, but the girls there are gorgeous and classy, but don’t seem so entitled. Celebrating the holidays at home here, is similar, but experiencing the villages with Christmastime events in Europe is like nothing else. It's amazing to experience. So, thank you for sharing. I do hope I find a girl Frend when ever it happens and have kids one day so I can wake up in the morning and wach them open gifts. I'm not religious but as a young boy I got lots of gift on Christmas day from my nan and pop s an family I was lucky. Thay still got me gift up to 30 s age but now I not cee my nan.as she in old foc place and pop died 9 weeks back so sad. And I don't cee my mum not dad at Christmas Sint my younger days but got to cee mum few years back was good and I not Sean my sister at Christmas in years cas she all way with her kids and at her hubbie percents. Sux. Not ceeing her and her kids and my cuzzn only has one kid so no other kids in owe family to give gift s to. Sux .

Stay safe , my west german friends .by the way, my great uncle married a german girl after ww2 , he and his brother where envolved in the berlin airlift. They where us army air corp, later known as air force. My aunt christine from germany and their adopted son William from germany. He was a little orphan child. Came to america and became a pilot , and an structural engineer
