I love having Schwarber at lead-off... the amount of 1-0 starts you get off that bat is so cool.
I do too but I also hate having him clog the bases though bc he walks so much over 100 times plus 50 singles. It’s gonna take two gappers to score him or a gapper and a hit. He’d have so many more rbis outta the 4 or 5 hole and so would Harper and turner if a guy that could score faster if ya get my point. Turner stott Harper casty schwarber realmuto bohm marsh Rojas is the best order imo. But it is nice to see the lead off hrs. That’s his 11th this yr. Is it worth it? I guess they’re here!!! I believe schwarber would still have 45 homers outta the 5 hole

As aD-backs fan we knew we didn't want to face the Phillies this postseason. They are the only other team playing with swag and like the under dog. They are playing such good ball right now, should be a fun series no matter the outcome

I always get a little nervous when the Phils are leading early. So much tension trying to retain the lead.

* Philly offense is eating Starting Pitchers alive but too full for the bullpens.
* A LOT of our losses - past two years, mind you - happen after or during the 7th inning. Like... the Braves.

It's a 10 to 15 minute walk distance to CBP, and a 5 minute drive. its a fairly nice little distance and we hear it loud and clear and see the lights. It's incredible!!!! Let's go Phils. I watched about 100 games this season and been to 8. And when I was a kid I went to games at the vet. This crowd is much louder than any other playoff run. It's even louder than 2008-2009 i love it lol. I was a freshman in highschool in 2008 and was down there with my friends tailgating every game, I can't get over how good the fans have been these last two years here. We just wanna win! That is all! LETSS GOOOO!

This team is more fun than the 2008 team. And the 1993 team. Best Phillies team of all time.
If you are a good pitcher, but your pitches are in the strike zone without any movement, the Phillies hitters are hitting it hard. I've never seen a Phillies team this scary to the opposition, and I've been in Philly, watching Phillies baseball since the 1964 season. I have a little sympathy for the opposing pitcher, but only a little.

@@jsnike91 First it goes by regular season record. Both Phillies and Rangers went 90-72. Tiebreaker is head-to-head record and the Rangers swept the Phillies 3-0 the very first series of the season back in March/April. Hard to believe that right there could determine home field advantage in the World Series 🙂

Games over and they got the Win, but that game never should have got as close as it did. Phillies left too many runs on the field, and that error was brutal. They got away with it this time, but they can’t be leaving runs out there like that
Couldn't agree more. The score should've been at least 7-2 going into the ninth but they (again) left waaaay too many RISP and Seranthony was gift-wrapped a double-play ball and totally botched it...just a God-Awful throw. That CANNOT happen in the playoffs and particularly against a red-hot team like the D'Backs. Let's GOOOOOOOO!

Oh goodness, Swarber has gotten it going, here is a point, the Phillies very well may be the best team in baseball, espeacially now that they defeated the Braves, stacked lineup, Ranger, Nola, and Wheeler, are playoff tested, they will be a tough out.

I don’t think they can change the lineup with the way these guys are playing. It’s up to Bohm to get his bat going it doesn’t land on anyone else
Bohm had a couple of hard hit balls that were outs, unlike previous games where he made poor contact when he wasn’t whiffing. So maybe he’ll have his breakout game soon.
And Stott has seemed to lose what he had going when he hit the grand slam. Let’s get him going too. But his at bats haven’t been impressive.

Kimbrel takes years off my life almost every time he's out there. I can count on one hand how many ho-hum 1-2-3 innings he's had over the season...almost always drama....the 2023 version of Wild Thing 2.0
