Bryce Harper is on pace to be one of the greatest playoff performers of all time. He better be number 1 on next year’s list.

Diamondbacks against a team that went to the World Series last season. AZ is a young team that got rocked early and settled in and made the game competitive.
I think that’ll fuel them moving forward in this series, something they can build upon to possibly take one in Philadelphia. They could most certainly do it, they cut the damage down in the second half of the game after they were down 5-0 and cut it down to 5-3. They won’t go down without a fight, they will most certainly not got swept either.
Bad pitching and a throwing error by Dominguez helped the DBacks out.
@@paulf4802well you could say bad pitching by Gallen helped out Phillies too. 3 home runs in the first 2 innings off 4-Seam fast balls at 93 mph middle of the plate on all of them. Gallen was pitching in the cold for the first time this year. Milwaukee and AZ are played in controlled weather environments. The last 3 innings the Dbacks were in a place to tie the game and or take the lead after being down 5-0, in Philly. It ended up being a closer game than it looked like it would be.

@@hamhockbeans not even. The Phillies have so much talent at the plate, I haven’t said at all they can’t hit? I said Zac made pitches right down the middle at 93mph. Basically stating, if you make pitches like that against hitters that the Phillies have you’re making a huge mistake… like those were awful locations for a 4-Seam fastball that isn’t in the upper 90’s... Anyone who knows baseball knows what I mean.
Nick Castellanos is reminding me of what Rhys did last postseason. Just a Home Run hitting machine. It was cool to see Bryce homer on his B-Day!!
No offense but Rhys Hoskins was nowhere as good as Nick has been. In the postseason his avg was .159 and he hit 7 home runs in 17 games. Castellanos is batting .370 and has 5 home runs in 7 games. Rhys is so overhyped because of the bat spike moment agains the Braves.
Edit: Hoskins had 11 hits in 17 games. Castellanos has 10 hits in 7 games.

Bryce Harper has lived up to the hype. I remember him coming out of high school (yea I’m that old) with all the hype surrounding him. He was a beast for Washington and he’s definitely building his legacy here in Philly ✊🏾

I’m really loving how supportive the dbacks and Philly fans are of each other this season, I haven’t seen an interaction between both sides being negative this year, love it! Both teams have proven to be absolutely dangerous this post season, but as a dbacks fan, I’m definitely pretty scared the Phillies are gonna walk away with this one haha. I’m just happy to even see our boys in the post season let alone the NLCS

Great job with these highlights, MLB 👏 You really get a feel for the game. But I wish the thumbnail photo didn't give away who won; it would be a lot more fun to watch these excellent highlights with suspense rather than it being a foregone conclusion, since the photo is always of the winning team.

I'm a D-Backs fan and even if they lose the series this was a very successful season. No one believed the D-Backs would make the playoffs and the NLCS was out of the question.
Watching the Phillies play is like watching a home run derby event, Harper is on fire and by far one of the best to ever do it in October.

Amazing to watch the Phillies, so confident, excited. They'll try anything to win. Dbacks fought back nicely but the Phils are going to be really hard to beat.
Phillies are playing like world beaters right now. Their confidence is through the roof.
DBacks fared better than I anticipated. Seems like they were on edge in the beginning but found their footing. Hoping they win some of these.
I think they will, first game jitters were definitely there but I feel like they have something to build upon this series, they definitely showed some heart toward the end when they cut it down to 2 runs, but sadly the damage was already done. They’ll be fine, I think if they lose this series they’ll lose it in 6 games.

@@lakerskid2013 I am from AZ originally but spent 20 years in Japan watching baseball there so I have been going to Dbacks games all season here in PHX. Has been fun to watch the Dbacks. Painful at times but they are a much younger team than the Phillies and a lot of the players have never even played in the post season. Phillies have the advantage but cant take away what the Dbacks have managed to accomplish.
