It was a wild game, first Phillies post season game I’ve ever been to and I’ve never been in a crowd like that. The energy was unstoppable and just relentless, I could barely hear the people next to me at times.
One thing I like about this team is their depth. They had it last year, but this year feels different. Pache, Rohas, Marsh, Wilson, etc. From the starters to the backups, everyone is motivated and brings something to the team.

Kimbrel balking on purpose was so stressful to watch live at the stadium, but watching this back it was def the right choice so Josh Bell would stop giving signs. So grateful I got to see a post season win in person!!

I feel absolutely horrible for Rhys Hoskins. He's been with the Phillies since he was drafted, and he can't be with them for this playoff run because of his ACL injury, in what might possibly be his final season with the Phillies.

I don’t see that happening, I think Harper is going to stay as the first baseman. Schwarber has to DH, Castellanos is RF, and the other two OF positions are guys like Marsh, Rojas, Pache because of the need to have better defense.
@stevebabiak6997 No, Harper will go back in the OF, and yes Rys WILL resign with the Phillies at 1st base. And yes Shwarbs will still be the DH. Pacheco will be the odd man out.

He’s usually not that conservative, maybe the importance of that game one made him too risk averse.

Third base coach needs to be removed from 3rd.. Schwarber would have scored easily in the 1st and thank God Bryce ran through his stop sign.. the players have more of a feel for the game than he had in this game.. can't be cautious this time of year

Absolutely! Every run matters and I think Schwarber could have been safe. It might’ve not mattered because they didn’t end up scoring in that inning anyway.

Could someone explain to me the second run being scored? It sounds like he’s saying he’s out. I watched it over and over again and it genuinely looks like he was tagged out but they left the score on the board. Was this overturned? Or just a missed call?
The Phillies had scored a run in the previous inning. On the play you're referring to, 2 runners attempted to score, with only one being successful. If both had scored, the result would have been 3-0, not 2-0.
It looked confusing in the edit. But yes Nick was tagged out. Jt scored before him tho. Hence the 2-0

A very good game by the whole team, tho Kimbrel giving up another long hard hit ball is not encouraging. I can't help but laugh at how the media is pushing Jazz Chisholm as some sort of superstar, he's a weenie who wears a lot of bling and whines at the ump and has more ego than talent.
It looks like having Rhys throw out the first pitch is management's way of letting the fans show their appreciation because he won't get resigned, not if Bryce is going to stay at first.
Let's go Phillies and finish this series off next game.
I see why they're interested in Jazz. He has the inherent ability to be a 5 tool player. He hits balls hard, fields pretty well, is fast, and has a good arm. But he's not performed to the level his intangibles say he should be able to. He probably won't as a Marlin either. I feel like he needs to go somewhere where he's not "the" guy. Somewhere that would push him to be better.
Hopefully the Phillies have a conversation with the 3rd base coach. Two awful decisions. Great win though!
