I discovered your videos by accident. I work on my own cars as a hobby and to save money - your techniques give me a lot of tips. I really appreciate what you are doing! True professional Sir!
the weather is great for you at the moment so i hope you like it and at first i though it was you with that engine going ,thanks for the video sorry I am a day late
Hello, it was a pleasure to watch someone who knows what they're doing go to work. If I may ask, why do you smear red grease on the mating surfaces where bolts go in to the gearbox?
Love you videos and could do with a clutch doing on a 2007 Octavia vrs tdi. But i live near York. But have family in Norfolk. Do might have to travel there one time. What's that red grease you use on the spline of the box and bolt holes.
Hey Kevin, at @23:22 would you please tell me why you put a sikaflex/sealant behind the central slave cylinder (release/throwaway bearing)?? I realize it's a hydraulic one. I watched almost all of your videos and noticed that you sometimes put just grease or simply nothing. You also sometimes prime it. Can you help me figure this out? The reason I'm asking is because I've also replaced the clutch, throwaway bearing and the DMF for a 3,0L Citroen Jumper 11 months and 10k km before, and now I ended up with a complete clutch failure. The clutch is not disengaging. Idk what went wrong with my install, so maybe the sealant was missing?
Could I ask you - Do you prefer the HIGH speed ratchet you have - or the older LOW speed higher torque you used to use ??- I have just got the LOW speed high torque one after watching you use it and love it - much better than the old AIR ratchets !!
@@WMCS Thanks for the reply - I could tell the power was down as you struggle with some bolt - this game is hard enough - anything to make it easier !!👍👍
Hello! Why everything looks more dificult with french cars? (308). I own a 2005 ford mondeo 2.2 TDCI and a 2014 RENAULT laguna 2.0 dci 175. There is 9 years and 200 000 kms between the old mondeo and the younger laguna, but it's just numbers! I'm more confident with the mondeo, i know that the laguna will not goes so far, not the same quality... But i like both of them anyway! Good job and great video. See you next week🎉

Great videos. Out of interest, what do you do if you get a gearbox out and find the input shaft bearing is worn?
NICE WORK KEVIN A'S ALWAYS TOP MAN👍👍👍👍
Thanks for the thumbs up Cliff 🍻🍻
God King of clutches
🍻🍻🍻
you are an expert
weird question, do you activate parking brake before lifting the car?
For sure .. all day everyday 🍻🍻🍻

I’m going back to the high torque rather than this high speed. It’s a bit underpowered for the job.

hi Kev, can you believe .. nearly half way through the year already .. 😊
You know what. I was just thinking about that whilst doing my gardening’s today. …
Good work 👍
