I know you haven't but when we see you work I get the false impression you have speeded up the video but I am always impressed and astonished at the fast and efficient rate of speed you carry out your work sir👍 Ps. This job has taken you a long way from home which speaks highly of your work and well earned reputation.
That’s definitely the actual speed of the job .. this one here I can get it done in about 4hrs. Lock, stock and barrel 🍻🍻🍻… thanks for feedback. Very much appreciated.

Started watching your vids years back, Kev - was always wary of the "doing a clutch" thing - now I bang clutches into some of the hardest vehicles going, even do lorries, where before I'd bottle out of doing a fiesta. I'd have laughed at the idea of doing the clutch on a 4*4 or a HGV before I got an education on the "how" from you. Also learnt more on the "How to work fast" aspect from your vids than pretty much anyone else's on YT - only guy who comes close is a Romanian RUclipsr called Relectric - that chap doesn't muck about either. He too is an education on doing stuff fast. Like you, he does stuff in a day people would take weeks at. Another proper grafter. Grateful for all your videos & I appreciate just how much effort you put into them. You're a teacher, even if you don't call yourself that.
Brilliant Kevin. You are rather more athletic than me by some distance. I learned a lot from you. I feel more confident to tackle larger jobs on my Freelander. Thank you you are a master mechanic 👍
Love watching these videos as you know. My son as recently started his apprenticeship as a mechanic, ages ago before he even applied for jobs (he's older 31 so got lucky) I told him to watch your videos both for the understanding of what's involved and the most efficient ways to do things. In part of the job interview they had cars on ramps and by watching your videos knew his way around a car and one of the guys interviewing noted how much he knew, which likely helped him get the job. Anyway hope you're getting better.
Man, you are made of steel. I dont think ive ever seen anybody handle such heavy items on your back with such ease Working on your back like that for so long takes some doing. I used to be able to do it when i was younger but not anymore. An oil change is about all i can manage these days and i have to be in the right frame of mind just for that.
Your a Legend Master Mechanic.. A pleasure to watch what you do with these cars. It’s helped teach me a bit to work on both my own motors.. thank u and big Blessings to u bro.. 👊🏽
Love the captions and the fancy new camera. The color and detail is amazing. I feel like I’m at the movies. I think we should create a new Olympic sport, Gear Box Wrestling. Kev would win hands down. The editing and camera work on these vids is next level. I admit, I don’t watch every vid like I used to (shame on me I know) but when I want peace and comfort, I watch. Can u imagine the strength it takes to drop that baby on your gut?? And then bench press it back up?? And then do it in the cold and rain?? I am sooooo spoiled. A rack and a trans jack🫢🫢 and a roof in SoCal
holy shit, this clutch replacement is really quite complex, many large heavy parts that have to be removed first, my greatest respect for this work 👍🍻 ... also good the mechanic rain 😂
hi Kev, great video, i must take my hat off to you for the amazing skills, the design of these vehicles is shambolic, rear wheel drive is far better, thank god i was fitter in the late 60's early 70's,[ luckily i avoided the BMC mini ]
Excellent video. Loved 9it from beginning to end. Nice clear picture with Excellent annotation. I am now convinced I will be able to do my clutch by following you through doing this on hats off to you for doing all this one your own, I will have the help of my fit son . Thank you so much.

Fantastic video once again, what's your take on the SAC tool for self adjusting clutches? Only in a few words. The seal is metal coated in oil resistant material plus the rubber itself which folds inward. The only time that seal will leak is if there is free play in the crank. That means the main/big end bearings are worn. Replacing the seal may temporarily mask the issue. Second most importantly. A lot of mechanic makes the mistake when f confusing the ladder frame or end block leak with a crankseal failure… costly and common mistake. Ladder frame uses sealant which dissolves over time causing leak around the crank seal.

Hi bud when removing subframes on these do you leave the rack on the column or take it off at the uj still
Subframes are hard work on the floor
This method here. Leave rack connected to steering column.
Just make certain the steering rack is firmly held up. Underneath.
