As an ex mechanic I can attest to the fact that (a) Its hard working in cold weather (b) Its even harder working on the floor (you have to be super fit to do this! (c) KAW is a superb mechanic (d) These videos must be difficult to make (think of the fact that he has to set up every shot / angle) and most of all (e) He's making something very difficult look easy, trust me when I say, a clutch job is not easy on a modern car. To remember the order or disassembly / reassembly is an art in itself. If Haynes Manuals were done in video form, then KAW would be the man for that job!

When I was a young man I did repairs as well. Today, at 60, that is no longer possible. Today the car has to be on the lift so I can work on it. God grant that your body will remain flexible for a long time. Your videos are inspiring and remind me of when I was young myself. Thank you for that 👍 and God bless you

I admire you working outside in the cold rain …I’ve been mobile for 50 years outside in all weather and keep saying to myself there must be an easier way of earning a living . It’s hard on your body and clutches are very difficult to do on your back. Why ever didn’t they continue with that Vauxhall idea clutch change without removing the gearbox took me 30 minutes to do a clutch on one. Actually Vauxhall didn’t pioneer that idea it was Datsun now Nissan . Now I’m showing my age lol.. good luck and best wishes to you .

Hi Kevin got a question I have a hyundai 120 2017 plate it does have clutch judder have u done many clutch replacement and flywheel if so are thay modified do u know?I'm a mechanic but just asking the question I have been thinking about changing it iv been told it's a common fault cheers Kevin love your work
Have done one or two clutches and DMF .. not sure what the question is. The i20 is a solid flywheel. I that case a judder will be down to a weak pressure plate ., not squeezing the clutch against the flywheel enough and it’s slipping under low gears. (Load ). And should be ok when cruising. Hope that helps.
Is there any reason why you were covering your nose when working on clutches in the past but not anymore, are you now immune from clutch related health hazards?
What you don’t see is me covering up before disassembling the clutch and removal of the flywheel.. but I’m full covered up and would highly recommend it to anyone .. breathing that dust has zero health benefits to date.

The mini has changed it’s design you must be so glad as no more front end to remove like headlights, bumper and move slam panel forward
