Something I really like about Fates is how they revamped the look of classes... the Nohrian classes. Seriously, I never hear anyone talking about them, its always the Hoshidians, but Nohr has really cool spins on old classes. For example, Generals. They always are massive chunks of metal, but in Fates, they gave them Captain Spartan Helmets, even with the brush in the correct direction and all! To me, this is recognition of them being, well, Generals, important units on the battlefield. Great Knights are always cool looking, Awakening had them with beautiful Frogmouth helmets and for Fates, they gave them the most most badass armor ever! Imo. And also their horses, which, while a lot more fictional, it really sells the idea of this being actual heavily armored horses, unlike Awakening. On the topic of horses, the mounts in this game are beautiful! Paladin Horses have these gilded, winged armors, looking like super heroes; Strategist's looks special for carrying royalty; Bow Knight's is a lot lighter yet realistic, no one would ever think this horse is for bulkier frontline units. Oh and flyers are cool too! Wyverns, Zombie Wyverns, in Hoshido the Pegasus are adorned as they now mounted healers and I'm so happy for IS realizing what the franchise ideally needed was the capacity of riding big fat Cocks in Kinshi! But my absolute favorite got to be the Dark Knight! Not only the helmet has a clear demon motif, but their horse is fully plated in demonic faces! Leo looks like he is mounting Satan itself and I love it! Other classes are cool too: Hero's gilded armor is beautiful, Adventurer's giant bow tie is amazingly playful, Berserker is really neat, while I'll admit the Spanish Conquer look from Awakening was better (I believe that was Warrior, but whatever) the strange Wendigo looking Helmet really sells the idea of a beastial fighter, and Sorcerer, while I prefer the almost Egyptian motif of Awakening's, looks really good and the dark wings almost give them a Fallen Angel look, a neat foil for the Hoshidian classes, who use benign kami as magic. So yeah, Nohr also gave a spin on classes!
Another personal favorite of mine is the Malig Knight, I may dislike Camilla but I can't deny how much fun that class is, especially since Wyvern Rider has always been one of my favorite classes in all FE
Tales of arise while probably one of the least interesting tales games and worst systems ever. I do love the enemy teleport system to jump from one for to another Fe fates bad story but fun gameplay ghat balanced out awakening and i do love the capture and amibo system a ton.
Is respectable that even with the games you dont like (except DR4) you find positive things It really speaks how truly you enjoy games even with its flaws Even knowing you really hates fates, you talk something positive and makes me want to actually finish fates now lmao Great video overall geychelf
@@TheGameShelf The Reason for Fate's sloppy story, is because the writers where trying to achieve too much with not enough time. Intelligent Systems had an idea for Fate to have three stories to appeal to everyone, but they realized that they didn't have enough writers. So they hired an outside writer, Shin Kibayashi was that writer. Intelligent Systems wanted Shin to write the outline for each pathway, what happened instead is that Shin wrote 500 pages for each pathway. Intelligent Systems knew this was too long so they cut the story into pieces without the writers permission and the fact the Nintendo demanded Fates come on the Fire Emblem Anniversary only made things worse. Which resulted in this hilariously mess of a story. The good news this that there is a manga based on Fates that is a little better. Its called Fire Emblem If: the Crown of Niberlung.
Oh hey, someone else who dislikes Yakuza 5, I'm not alone! That said, while I don't hate Shinada, I greatly prefer Tanimura from Yakuza 4, and playing through 5 just made me really miss him.
Personally, the Avatar themes, Fist Bump and (HOT TAKE WARNING) some Classic themes are the only songs that I like about the OST (I can't stand the Infinite theme, even in an ironic way XDDD) And meh, the avatar is fine but the options and clothes it has are very limited and don't match most of the time. Also, the Sonic Forces fans doesn't exists. What are you talking about???? /This part is j
I was just listening to some of the songs: A Dark Fall, Contest of Pride, Condemnation and I was like "Damn, I haven't listened to these songs in years, but fuck, these go hard"
Even if you weren't as big on Signalis as I was (and still am), I'm still very happy you gave it a shot and our chats about it in Discord DMs were quite fun! It's a very love or hate game for a ton of people and I can completely get not being into it (especially prior to the most recent patch which allows you to change up your inventory style).
Eventually you'll come around on Peakuza 5 Scott Pilgrim vs The World The Game is such a dog shit game I refuse to believe it's "The Best Beat Em Up of all time". Only saving grace to the game is the Music and Presentation to the game, though that's clearly is what is carrying the game and not the actual dogshit Gameplay and Mechanics Also you will never catch me saying anything positive about Splatoon

Someday we’ll make him see the light with Peakuza 5 chat…
Everything I like in Peakuza 3 are the combat and story, also being a dad simulator.

I will argue that the compositions on some Classic Sonic songs are good, but the instruments are good awful
Fates, this one of the nastiest games of all time, but that soundtrack pops off hard
I was just listening to some of the songs: A Dark Fall, Contest of Pride, Condemnation and I was like "Damn, I haven't listened to these songs in years, but fuck, these go hard"
I hate Pichu (my cat), but shes funny sometimes.
The ending of Y5 is very upsetting, I agree. To fix framerate, just cap the Fps

Justo como dice un amigo, en lo malo, hay algo bueno, y en lo bueno hay algo malo.
Muy buen video Don
Guess the next list is bad things in games you like.
It's definitely in line but there's other ideas I wanna work on for now
@@TheGameShelf oh cool. I do feel some games are a few steps from perfection and I'd love to clear the air as well.
One day I'll make you fully come around on Peakuza 5
fact: luis had to flee canada before filming a segment where he dissed yakuza 5 (isaiah would have got his ass)
Awesome video man, it's so cool you can see the good in something you don't enjoy
Yakuza is awesome lol

If you truly care about the FE series like you said, then how about doing a rewrite of Fates' story?
