I got belly fat for the first time in my life due to a toxic relationship. I was in constant flight/fight/freeze mode for 5 years. I gained 25 kgs. This is not an issue doctors in my country is interested in at all. They will not even do a spit test. I have gained a lot of weight on my stomach and my face and I rarely sleep more than 2 hours in a 24 hour period. I eat less than 1200 calories per day and mostly eat fish and vegetables . No white flour, no potatoes, no pasta and no candy or chips or salted nuts. I had just lost half my body weight and was happy and heart for the first time. The I got I’ll with several autoimmune diseases and have to take strong pain killers every day. My partner left me. That was got in the long run as the relationship was toxic. But I’m very depressed since I lost most of my family and all my friends. Lost as in they passed away. I’m not able to expertise because of my chronic illness. So I’m mostly alone now laying 😅n my sofa , staring in the air.. in pain physically and emotionally .. not even a life anymore . Just found out one of my autoimmune conditions have turnen in to cancer last week. I start treatment in 11 days…

I gained weight with using adaptogen: 'Maca' and my sleep is bit more worse. Gained weight around my middle. What is happen do you think? Is it the right way? is it just that my body has to adapt to this Maca? Or maybe i need do use 1 gram instead of 3 grams per day in the morning. I am not so familiar with how adatogens work. How is it possible that Maca Root also releases more cortisol? I think that is what happened..
Brian please answer, If my cortisol suddenly increases and i get belly fat, and then if it decreases, will it cause Cushing syndrome? I (M) used to be skinny 55kgs at 5'10 and then during lockdown i gained around 30 kgs, no muscle, just fat I'm building muscle now and currently at 73s,i look lean except my belly and chest, is it Cushing or hormone imbalance? Edit: i do not drink nor consume any drugs etc, vegetarian but i eat 2eggs and milk everyday
@@naturelovers6987 yes, I lost weight fairly easy, I play table tennis and badminton and walked a lot I lost without much effort like following any diet, I couldn't continue weight lifting cause time constraints and I'm in 64s now. The weight loss was also rapid, lost like 10kgs in 50 days and i didn't feel weak at any point It might be hormone imbalance at some point cause I got gyno and now I think it's almost gone or not noticeable anymore, I'm in early 20s so I might have had it easy
There's only so much deep breathing and meditation you can do, I'm so tired of it. I'd do anything to get rid of cortisol. I take supplements, vitamins to nothing works unless you rest or overeat and that's like so boring and overeating feels disgusting.
Glad to stumble on your video! I love your advice and the fact that you mention herbs. Many western coaches don’t take into consideration that many viewers are not from the western world and understand herbs as supplements more than anything else. One more like from me. 😀
It’s probably because you’re not used to it. We typically only shallow breathe. Working out is uncomfortable in the beginning also. You will get used to it and reap the benefits if you continue. It’s worth it🫶🏾

You can choose a different way of responding. Instead of being triggered, use that energy to go for a walk or exercise

I'm not sure if it's maca. I use it and hasn't affected my weight. I recommend watching what you eat first
