You are a true blessing ❤ Im off now to make my spinach, parsley, moringa juice before going to bed. May you receive blessings in abundance.
I eat all of that except sunflower seeds and leafy greens. I make my own Sauerkraut. Liver comes from our neighbors grass finished cows. I haven't noticed any benefits eating it. I will still eat those foods because I like it. I'm female, 59 and my belly fat does not budge, no matter what diet I eat, how much I exercise. I've struggled with being fat all my life. I don't care anymore. Nothing works anyway.
@@jeanpaultongeren125 I did Keto for 1.5 years. I lost a lot of weight but only when I started doing extended fasting, like days up to 2 weeks of fasting and after I ate keto again half of the weight came back. I got tired of weighing every bite that crossed my lips. I was hungry all the time. After that time I started eating carnivore and did IF, like eating twice a day within a short period of time. After 4 years of eating like that, and I loved it, ate when hungry and did not measure a thing I had to have my gallbladder removed in 2021. After that I gained weight and now it's not coming off. I started adding Avocadoes, Blueberries, home made Sauerkraut and garlic to my meat after I had bad news about my eyesight from the Optometrist. I've since reversed some of the problems but I'm still waiting to see a specialist in February for my Glaucoma suspect. Otherwise, if I were not fat, I'm healthy as the Retina Specialist said to me, for my age apparently almost everybody has to take some kind of medication. At 59 I don't think I will ever lose my belly fat but as long as I don't lose my eyesight I'm OK with that now. I stopped fighting it.
Leafy greens grown in nutrients rich soil helps. It’s not just a question of cosmetics. It really helps feeling better. You may want to reduce the exercises. Dr Berg’s videos /articles on cortisol may also help.
Since 1997 I've have and still high Cortisol levels= Obesity and something to shrink Cortisol and stubborn belly fat in side my stomach I'm working out bit by bit to get rid of that
Gr8 video! Dr Berg will you please do a video on nir light therapy for breast cancer/chemo patients. As well as lipoatrophy/lipodystrophy please Greatly appreciated. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Long-term low carb along with IF have overtime given me extremely high cortisol. I now need to fix that, but I am so good on low-carb high-fat it's hard for me to break from it. Worst of all, I have been in long seasons of my body NOT desiring and NOT being able to enjoy salads.
Another important thing, which will also help reduce cortisol , promote growth hormone and help the body in healing , that is good loving understanding family atmosphere or friends. Having valuable deep conversations and spending quality time with one's loving family members and friends also does wonders in decreasing cortisol .
My cortisol went up to 300 then suddenly down to 3 … the pain was crucial and gain weight 🤦♀️ … they did an infusion of cortisol and still haven’t being able to loose weight no matter what I do
Thank you, Dr Berg. I’m not vegetarian, but I don’t eat meat (I eat dairy and fish, but allergic to shellfish). Are plant based proteins as effective as animal proteins? My cortisol has increased tremendously since menopause🤦🏼♀️
I was taken to dinner last evening. I had a cup of fried rice, and went ahead and ate it---I've been doing keto, but having trouble with cortisol I think, like the longer I fast the higher my sugar is? In the mid 200s (yeah diabetes is not fair). The rice I had last evening had spawned a blood glucose in the 400s within two hours. It's really hard. "Healthy foods" shaft me.
How about Menopause? I just got this during menopause.....horrible stomach problems, high heart rate, anxiety in the morning and more. Ketogenic and fasting stressed me so much it actually got worse. Nothing for women in peri and postmenopause
Thought it was just me thinking I felt better taking my probiotics at night, to me it's when my body is processing everything I ate that day and a good time for restoring gut health
The best foods to lower cortisol and stress:
1. Egg yolks
2. Organ meats
3. Nutritional yeast or sunflower seeds
4. Dark leafy green vegetables
5. Salmon and other fatty fish
6. Probiotics and fermented foods (sauerkraut, kefir, pickles, kimchi)

I hear you, so discouraging!:(
not even Keto?
@@jeanpaultongeren125 not even keto or carnivore for me :( but i still eat keto for the health benefits.
Since 1997 I've have and still high Cortisol levels= Obesity and something to shrink Cortisol and stubborn belly fat in side my stomach I'm working out bit by bit to get rid of that
Good luck with that!

Meditation is the best way to control cortisol without medication
I've followed these principles covered by Dr. Berg to a great benefit, with substantial energy and mental attitude improvements (healthy and happy).
So cool to read!
Another great video.. thank you Dr Berg
You're welcome! Glad you found it useful!
Uhhhh this is sooooo important 😢
6.9k+...Thanks Dr. Eric
Most welcome!
Great video🎉

Dr Berg my husband taking for his Shingle Aciclovir 800 and for the pain Brufen 600
Good morning Sir.
Thanks for following!
@@Drberg you are welcome.
Thank you Dr. Berg for all you do for Humanity God Bless you.
We love you from here Ecuador to the Moon.

I hate eating liver. 🤢🤮 I'm not too fond of salads either. Are there any alternatives that are much more tasty and enjoyable to eat?
Good morning DB
Good morning. Have a great day!
Thank you for this information.
It's always a great pleasure!
Thank you. Love your knowledge sharing! ❤
