I went from racing 5ks with the Takumi Sen 10 most of last year and switched to the Puma DNE3's and its so hard to go back low to the ground racers, the light weight bounciness just feels too good and feels easier on the legs. Now I just use the Sen10s for fast workouts, guess i joined the high stack gang 😎

I’m a 800/1500/3000 and 5-8k xc racer - shoes like these are perfect speed training shoes (2 sessions per week) to build honest speed for those middle distance races where I use spikes

being no elite, i am free to choose, and this shoe is a dream come true. After all those high stack shoes, it is a welcomed change for me......looking at the market the shoe maybe the closest is the Xero HFS let us not forget, that older people like me start to have some problems with keeping there balance and a shoe with a ton of ground feel and low stack is much safer for me than a max cushoined shoe. So it all depends on your goals. I put the adios 9 on top of my wish list and will spend the next few months checking out all options to get a decent discount ......by the way, at the moment the adios 7 is my favorite shoe and the adios 8 is number 6 on the list. I check it from time to time to keep the actuality
I only now two competitors to Adios 9. As You shown Streakfly and there is Saucony Sinister. 25mm stack height, race foam and 170g weight at our 10.5 size
Liked seeing the Rebel V3's in the wrap up. Also shoe's I've kept on past their mileage as 'whatever' sneakers. Still don't understand why it was so slept on.

I dont think this is barefoot shoe, still got 20mm in the front. I wear the salomon slab pulsar OG and that has 17mm forefoot. Great shoe for road and trail. Cant run a descent 5k but not a pb.

Hi Yowana . You should mesure the stack of the Hyperion 2 you’ll be surprise . I mesured myself on the size 10,5 in about 32mm of stack.
