if you havnt seen northcoast academy's 2012 show, u HAVE to. insane cymbal breaks and throws and tricks. its not the cleanest show ever but it was so much fun
This is the show that made me fall in love with WGI, it was my first year performing down at Dayton, and the sheer amazement of my first time seeing this live will never leave my body
I'm a former Pulse Open member (now known as POW Percussion) 💜 So happy to have the Pulse family be recognized Also, unpopular opinion but I think this show is better than MCM 2017 😬
You are correct in your assumption that mcm was ungodly clean that year to be that high on the list. Honestly this show is what made me come back for 2018, it really made me go “ok this activity is insane” and probably one of the shows that cemented my preference for WGI over dci. If you’re gonna do any more of these I’d suggest mcm 18 or equinox 2018
This is my all time favorite independent show. Ride or die scholastic show is Ayala 2018’s “The Blessing”. whether or not you react to it it’s a must watch. the only show that wasn’t designed to be a tearjerker, that has ever made me cry is this one. it was just that well done.
Hi EMCProductions, i finally had enough courage to stand up to my terrible teacher. I’m no longer a high school percussionists but I’m gonna be taking a while to relearn the right way
For spocktober you should have a Spock drum tuned to only one note in any clips you splice together. So basically a snare feature but on a Spock drum(s) and it could be like one of those hardest feature videos but with a different title, like “Spocktober Special” if you wanted to do this for the last day you could name it “Spocktober Special; The Finale”
I am going to recommend Pulse of Liberty 2015 with their show "Macabre" I did the same show, except in marching band form (gary gilroy really steppin up his game here) I love the red costumes and their cool cymbal choreo. 10/10 show
I got to see this show when it happened at Finals. It was my only year marching, I played drumset in independant open class. Mystique def deserved to win but this should have been second. Any other year this would have won. This is still the first show I give to people who don't know what wgi is.
You should TOTALLY react to some of my schools past TIA shows. I know you were involved with Tournament Indoor Association so if you could just search up Cumberland Regional High School Indoor Finals Regional A then that would be awesome. I saw that you did TIA so chances are that you may have competed against my school! It would be really cool to check out a smaller group from a smaller program other than DCI or WGI. If you see this then thanks for reading!
I’m thinking about auditioning for one of the USAF Bands after I graduate, I’m a percussionist, so any Air Force members out there have suggestions for which band I should audition for?
There was a WGI PSW ensemble that did a zombie show a while back. I want to say somewhere in 2010-2013. The basses had a feature where they laid on the backs of other members while they crawled slowly across the floor
You should do a video on what its like being in a drumeline, what to do to prepare for drumeline, and what to do to prepare for a musical carrier. Like this video so Eric can see please. Thanks!
Glad you liked it man, we had a good time putting this together :)
This is the show that me into WGI. Pulse Percussion really is something else.
Well this comment makes me feel old.
me too, this was the first WGI show I ever saw, lead to me doing 4 seasons of WGI with my town's group! IMPACT Percussion from WA
The first independent group I saw was Blue Knights 06.
Me too
Academy 2016 - Drum Corpse Bride
Pulse: creates a dark show about hauntings and death
Eric: *hehehehe landlines bad*
I think one of the coolest parts of watching WGI shows is how different each groups music writing is.
the cymbal throw at 7:47 is insane

Fun Fact: The singing part at the end of the show was also played by the Madison Scouts 2007. One of my favorite shows!
No Tick November idea: Have Steven play “The Greatest Tenor Feature of 2020” without ticking.
I don’t believe that he can do it.
That scream, it got me watching semis and finals, and it still gets me every time I watch it.
I'm a former Pulse Open member (now known as POW Percussion) 💜 So happy to have the Pulse family be recognized
Also, unpopular opinion but I think this show is better than MCM 2017 😬
i just think mcm had more risky visual thing. musically pulse was #1
By far the best wgi show ever. Hands down.
He should watch mcm 2017 now not only for a comparison but because that show was kind of spooky/dark too
Had amazing seats that night for Finals that night. When that show ended, my buddy and I were like “that show is like watching a movie!”
Was shown this in high school marching band! One of my favorite shows ever and inspires me as a percussionist (Timpani/Cymbals)
8:16 you know several of them were like, "I've been training since 3rd grade with that stupid parachute for just this moment."
You are correct in your assumption that mcm was ungodly clean that year to be that high on the list.

i watched the performance awhile ago and watched it about 13 times in a single day. thats how much i enjoyed it
React to stryke 2019 next. Addiction is spooky
was just about to recommend! 2018 or 2019
STRYKE 2018 was better
Connor_ McKee_123 2018 was cool and all, but for some reason I couldn’t get into it.
i’ve been watching this video for about 3 1/2 years and it gives me chills each time
This is my all time favorite independent show. Ride or die scholastic show is Ayala 2018’s “The Blessing”. whether or not you react to it it’s a must watch. the only show that wasn’t designed to be a tearjerker, that has ever made me cry is this one. it was just that well done.
Pulse is my favorite WGI core ngl
Watched this performance from the lower left section. It was absolutely amazing. Fantastic writing.
man, I'd love to see more drum tilting like these guys.
Cavaliers indoor 15 is a good kinda creepy clown show
This is one of my all-time favorite shows to watch!! Also the year I was performing in world class finals with Redline Percussion 🙂
Every time I watch Pulse 17, I just get excited for the next season of indoor!!
This show is an all-timer
Anybody else love the spock rimshot when the dude gets slapped at 7:05
Out of all the times I've watched this show, I've never seen the cymbal toss at 7:47. Watch the guy in the middle
music city that year was incredible, such an interesting show with so many deep moments
Hi EMCProductions, i finally had enough courage to stand up to my terrible teacher. I’m no longer a high school percussionists but I’m gonna be taking a while to relearn the right way
Since I can't think of any other spooky WGI shows, how about Academy 2016? The Corps Bride.
Edit: Would Inferno work too? (Crown 2015)
Fun fact: they all preformed with food poisoning
Did they actually if so this makes the performance 10X as amazing
they did, a front ensemble tech i worked with told me about the story 😂
Yeeeeeesus bass
There will power is emense I had food poisoning once I did literally nothing that day besides wait to puke and puke
It was actually water contamination poisoning 🤢 but yes we were all puking ! Still an amazing time performing this show with everyone ❤️
my mans threw his cymbal in the air at 7:46
MCM 2018 is pretty spooky
my #1 favorite WGI show ever.

Is no one going to mention the absolutely crazy mimba runs? Talk about a flex.
This was the my first every indoor drum line show I’ve played. My school in 2018 did a more watered down version of it.
Love this show so much I was actually in Dayton and saw them live for that performance
2009 Rhythm X and 2010 Pulse are my favorite shows!
When you skip class to watch emc’s new video
Check out MCM 2017 and 2018. STRYKE 2018 and 2019. Oregon Crusaders 2018. RCC 2019. POW 2018 and 2019. Dark Sky 2016
Loved the monochrome vs color effect between dead and living, very cool effect
Grove City High School Marching Band 2019's "Rhapsody"
you will enjoy the show itself and some of the percussion book.
YESSS DUDE THE DAY HAS COME
I know he played tenor professionally but God he just started vibing as soon as they got a feature
*plays
yes
Not strictly Halloween but you should check out the Music City show from 2017. It’s wild
This show was incredible
Still one of my fave WGI shows😍
It’s interesting how you call the pit the front ensemble!
I am going to recommend Pulse of Liberty 2015 with their show "Macabre" I did the same show, except in marching band form (gary gilroy really steppin up his game here) I love the red costumes and their cool cymbal choreo. 10/10 show
Rise Percussion 2019 - The Guests, and 2017 - Whispers
I love how the rimshot was timed with the slap! 7:06
2:27 must be an american public school.
we did this show for indoor in 2019 at my hs :)
There was a cymbal toss at 7:46
Rip, he didn't even notice the cymbal throw at 7:46
I wonder what it was like for all the members hearing the midi for this the first time lol
Good morning! I’m not sure how I found you but I did. I’m not a drummer but I greatly appreciate your channel! Keep up the great content!
No tick November: React to Aimachi 2013. The show is insane and the guard work is spectacular.
MCM 2018 is also a really good horror show if your interested.
I got to see this show when it happened at Finals. It was my only year marching, I played drumset in independant open class. Mystique def deserved to win but this should have been second. Any other year this would have won. This is still the first show I give to people who don't know what wgi is.
Wow, that was amazing!
My recommendation: Carolina Crown - Inferno
You should TOTALLY react to some of my schools past TIA shows. 2016 Academy, it’s amazing and spooooky
Stryke 2018- nightmare at 20000 feet or something like that. I love that show and saw it live.
i’m so bored that i started playing random instruments in my house
Looks nice
My favorite WGI world show
Don't miss the cymbal toss at 7:46.
I’m thinking about auditioning for one of the USAF Bands after I graduate, I’m a percussionist, so any Air Force members out there have suggestions for which band I should audition for?
La Puente Warrior Field Corps 2019- Zombie that was a fun show at the end 🧟♀️
There was a WGI PSW ensemble that did a zombie show a while back. I want to say somewhere in 2010-2013. The basses had a feature where they laid on the backs of other members while they crawled slowly across the floor
This one? ruclips.net/video/u1uQ9s5KS0s/видео.html
You should do a video on what its like being in a drumeline, what to do to prepare for drumeline, and what to do to prepare for a musical carrier. Like this video so Eric can see please. Thanks!
Etiwanda High 2018 - The Shadows of My Heart ;)
Eric I love you say it back
EMC! What are you going to be this spocktober 31? Something spooky maybe?
You gotta watch 2010 Tarpon Springs Outdoor Performing Ensemble show called Paranormal
I actually watched this show during class today lmao
You should also watch MCM 2017 too it's also spooky
Cedar Park HS 2016 marching band show is the best Halloween show ever
React to Music City Mystique's show for 2017!!! Hand of man I think its called. Its so cool and spooky!
MCM 2017! Verryyyy spooky
rcc 2019 quads are amazing and would be great for no tick november.
Good Morning
Good morning!!!
Great
Darren Lin is doing an instructional video for my band, and he’s super cool
Stryke 2018 is based on a Twilight Zone episode and it’s spoooky
POG
You should check out South Lafourche High 2019. Our show was about a nuclear apocalypse
MCM 2004 is a really good show. It's about the seven deadly sins and clean as well.
Stryke 2018 Nightmare At 30,000 feet is based off a Twilight Zone Episode so it would definitely be appropriate for Spocktober
You should watch Unity percussion 2019 and they got first place at Wgi world
Suggestion for spocktober, 2015 cavilers indoor percussion, send in the clowns. One of the bass drums is the older brother of a friend of mine.
Music city mystique 2017
Music city Mystique 2018
Audio Theater 2019 (their Atlanta regional run)
Would you ever react to warmup routines??
