Okay, so like, it's obviously impressive how clean everything is this early, especially for such complex vertical and horizontal writing, but I think the more impressive thing is how musically everyone is playing this early. It's just like a multicellular organism just all functioning on one wavelength together.
Thanx! Great music & follow up! Though Your commentary is astute, the balance is too loud, drowns out the musicianship, which is mainly what we'd like to hear!
I was in this competition! Not in pulse lol but I was in one of the high school drum lines. After we had performed we got to see all of the other bands play and oh my god, pulse’s show was INSANE. Getting to see that live was phenomenal and even from an okay perspective like the back side of the gym, it was still an absolute pleasurable experience. I don’t think I saw a single part where they were out of time. All of the drill, features, and visual elements were absolutely spot on and perfect.
I’m a new subscriber, a drum set player and I wanted to explore more about drum line So that’s what a keyboard looks like! Looks a little harder to bring to a rock gig.
Yo @EMCproductions, did you know that Orange County Independent (OCI) is coming back for this WGI season? You should def watch their stuff they have a sick show! *Wink wink* (I am def not in OCI, no way) But in all seriousness I think our show design is insane, it would be a dream come true for you to react to it. I know you like seeing a clear story being told, and we've also got some cool props too!
Pulse is phenomenal. I count three snares that I know for a fact played in the 2022, 2023 Blue Coats. Plus being one of the best baseline out there. “NICE”
You should do more reactions!! If you do, you should totally react to infinity. They are probably going to break top 5 again this year, they got a 90 in music in February
Pulse is clean, but there's a big consensus that they're just that. That the shows are really vanilla and not interesting. Broken City came out swinging with extremely hard music and a captivating show, especially with mostly new members. They aren't as clean rn, but they have a higher potential ceiling for sure.
Hey Eric!! Question for you! I was at a MAPS Competition at Unionville and I could have sworn I saw Tony G there. Do you know if he was there because I walked past him, and I feel bad because I sort of stared at him while I tried to figure it out lol
Good morning! This is video #59 of me asking for a drumline gym made out of various marching percussion instruments, such as the tenor barbell, and bass dumbbells.
I literally know next to nothing about marching band, but I just want to say that I really enjoy you’re videos. Btw when’s the next Drums are never animated correctly…Right?!
Bro I’m going to concert assessment next Thursday and I fr bout to do so good. But anyways cool I had no idea about the terms you were talking about ninelets sounds like a Wendy’s meal with nine chicken nuggets. I am only in 8th grade though
I don't even think many drumlines actually finish their shows completely or even play this clean(at least in my experience with Minnesota Percussion Association) especially if it's the first 2-3 show comps of the season
This is definitely something I would never ever do. Way too much visual stuff for me. I’m a pit guy and I would much rather just stand there and play. Also, why didn’t somebody take the tennis nets down?
Some times the front ensemble part seems easy, and it’s the fact that there’s so many people playing at exactly the same time that makes it good… but then it’s crazy when they start playing hard fast parts… AND THEY’RE STILL PLAYING TOGETHER.
No, that means everything is perfect, and that's exceptionally hard to do. It is impossible to score higher than a 100 (i believe, correct me if I'm wrong)
@Stretchwiz well that was a perfect 20 in brass and Blue devils has gotten a perfect 20 in the sub captions for Visuals throughout the years. But I believe their guard hit a perfect 20 in the the early 2010s.
Yes! Lov the content; commentary over the top estute, but is mixed to loud, squelches some of the world-class playing, which is the reason we're all 'hear'. 80.0 for you; u can so better!
Ayo keep a close eye on a class in finals, cranston combined coming in strong. First year we're going to finals and i wanna see what you think about our show.
What’s most amazing, is EMC’s ability to transcribe, learn, execute, then finally edit all this material at such rapid speed. Bravo sir!
Chat GPT ahh comment
You need to do more of these types of videos! It’s like an analysis
Okay, so like, it's obviously impressive how clean everything is this early, especially for such complex vertical and horizontal writing, but I think the more impressive thing is how musically everyone is playing this early. Wow
Pulse is probably taking the W again but keep an eye out for connexus, cap city, and matrix. My Ohio state friends out here working hard!
First comment! Good work.
I'm definitely looking forward to seeing all the groups in Dayton!
You are really great at being first! 🥰
@@RedDogMamaHD thank you!
I haven't seen matrix (or commexus live), butt God damn! Both cap groups lay down some notes. Idk what they feeding those tenors
Thanx! Great music & follow up! Though Your commentary is astute, the balance is too loud, drowns out the musicianship, which is mainly what we'd like to hear!
1:00 Malik!!! Pulse Percussion AND Center Snare of the Sacramento Mandarins!!!! Let's GO!!!!! 🔥🥁🔥
I marched with him in Gold Drum Corps! Man is a freakin beast!
Also the Coats center snare too!
The front ensemble is incredible. Also to be nailing the demand for this show so early...

It blows me away every time watching the EMC Productions drumline - just amazing! ❤
That is some wicked vertical writing. and so clean for February.
I’m so excited for wgi this year, it’s already looking great from the looks of pulse
I LOVE PULSE SO MUCH what I would do to march I’m so ready for finals.
I’m a new subscriber, a drum set player and I wanted to explore more about drum line So that’s what a keyboard looks like! Looks a little harder to bring to a rock gig.
So cool that you actually learn the features!!
The ensemble cohesiveness this year is off the charts. This show is going to be remembered for a long time to come (at least for me)!

Hey EMC I recently got a marching drum and I am in love with it 🎉🎉🎉😊😊
Snare?
You should do more reactions!! If you do, you should totally react to infinity. They are probably going to break top 5 again this year, they got a 90 in music in February
It was the first show for everyone in my drumline and we got 1st place in both of our drumlines
This is probably the most accurate transcription of the tenor break it could easily be 100% accurate to the actual one
EMC! You should try making tenor drums out of drum kit toms
I got to watch them in person it was CRAZY! we’re going to finals in san bernardino ahh
Wow we only got 79.30 2nd place, only had 3 classes in our group and it was a 0.2 point difference between us and 1st, at WGI Regional finals
You should do another practice pad review
Hey EMC do you ever stay and watch the WGI winds groups at WGI finals?
Broken city got a 90 with 2 less minutes in the show, so it’s kinda hard to say who will win rn
Pulse is clean, but there's a big consensus that they're just that. That the shows are really vanilla and not interesting. pulse always be cooking
That's was freakin bad ass 🥁
Did someone say TIMPANI?! TIMPANORS WHEN?!
Timpanis already serve the function of tenors
@@ayytism8857 Yeah, but if you aren't mounting them on a rack and destroying your back forever are you even making content?
@@ayytism8857 Then they should be marchable.
never
Mr. Spock concerning his tenors Spock rolls: Fascinating?!
I’m looking out for infinity. Beautiful show this year
Albino on the drum set! Don’t see that in an ensemble often
S/o to my homeboy Malik on snare!
Hey Eric!! Question for you! I was at a MAPS Competition at Unionville and I could have sworn I saw Tony G there. Do you know if he was there because I walked past him, and I feel bad because I sort of stared at him while I tried to figure it out lol

I kinda love the two mallets taped together
those chops are crazy!!!!!!
@EMCproductions when you're a dci/wgi judge will you go with @EMC as your name?
I literally know next to nothing about marching band, but I just want to say that I really enjoy you’re videos. Btw when’s the next Drums are never animated correctly…Right?!
my school was at wgi world championships!
Bro I’m going to concert assessment next Thursday and I fr bout to do so good. But anyways cool I had no idea about the terms you were talking about ninelets sounds like a Wendy’s meal with nine chicken nuggets. I am only in 8th grade though

Sounds like ur a voice judge for district ensemble awards winning
rbass31 doing the lords work
What a great video ❤
The Cavies of WGI here!
Please do the drumset features too
Nobody played shit like this before '99
Video 176 of asking for a Video of you playing exactly 69420 Notes
244 to go
This is definitely something I would never ever do. Way too much visual stuff for me. I’m a pit guy and I would much rather just stand there and play. Also, why didn’t somebody take the tennis nets down?
Because It's a Feb. practice!
I have a feeling a Concert class group will no longer have the record.
SPOCK TENORSSSS
Wow! Time for WGI reviews!!!
check out rhytmn x too like theyre so clean even from the side
Drum go boom+
My school lost ten points to penalties because of a prop at our first wgi :)
West Ranch HS?
Lego tenors?
Some times the front ensemble part seems easy, and it’s the fact that there’s so many people playing at exactly the same time that makes it good… but then it’s crazy when they start playing hard fast parts… AND THEY’RE STILL PLAYING TOGETHER.
I don’t think its easy at all. 4 mallet stuff is never easy. I never did get a good grasp on playing with 4 mallets. I just wasn’t getting it.
Wait WHAT
Is this a clip from a longer video?
cool
We scored 89.7 in February 😅
Really glad to see tilted snares. Personal favorite.
Really nice tuning throughout.
Typically, how long does it take you to transcribe solos?
Wow
Day 1 of asking for concer tenors
Toms set up in a tenor formation
The west coast bass technique is barph! Not their execution. Just the technique in general.
BARPH BARPH!! 🐶 🐕
totally agree! BARPH!
Ya real

Make a bass snare
Hey! This is video number 5 of me asking you to make a snare drum a bass drum, maybe snases?
They're awesome but I like the haunted house show better 😕
has any wgi group ever broke 100 before?
No, that means everything is perfect, and that's exceptionally hard to do. It is impossible to score higher than a 100 (i believe, correct me if I'm wrong)
The only group out of dci and wgi to ever get a 100 was Carolina Crown Brass 2013
even thats not true; they only got a perfect score in brass, not any other category
although, ofc, bd 14 scoring 99.65 is basically 100
@@imdome9768and BD '14 had perfect visual and GE scores
@Stretchwiz well that was a perfect 20 in brass and Blue devils has gotten a perfect 20 in the sub captions for Visuals throughout the years. But I believe their guard hit a perfect 20 in the the early 2010s.

Never heard of WGI.
Not first
This ain't even the full show either

I'm not trying to be rude but I actually like to hear this it'd be a lot easier if you weren't talking
Watch the original video then smh
First comment!
can you pin my comment please? I love your videos of commentary and about marching bands!
Geez come on dude let us hear it please quit talking I'm just scrolling on now and bypassing this all together thanks for nothing have a good day
