Eric if you wanna redeem the ticks you’ve got to not just reflect but improve on them. So you have to relearn the show clean this time. The whole thing. Every part.
So now that I watched your video on how you make money on You Tube I am watching these fucking commercials that I would normally skip....... how you appreciate it as much as I appreciate the content! LOL
I think it would be cool if you did a reaction of Boston Crusaders 2018 (or 2019) for No Tick November before it ends. Maybe do it with Young Skeeter since he marched Boston.
I hate to tell you this, but all that rhythmic motion set to music? Dancing. "move rhythmically to music, typically following a set sequence of steps."

My god, this is so bad. Feel bad for the students who had to perform it, embarrassed for the staff who taught it, and disappointed in the designers who created it.
I have asked Eric (sorry if that's not your name man I suck with names) many times to do this, you should review my high schools marching band. They have a youtube channel where they post videos of all their performances and its called Olentangy Orange High School Marching Band. I believe we are the biggest high school marching band in ohio. On their youtube channel, there are 3 or 4 videos of just drumline if you would rather do just drumline. Pls do this, I really want to see if we are as good as we think.
Using traditional grip and drums at an angle with modern harnesses melts my mind. WHY?! It's forcing the compromises of a sling onto the players, ignoring the fact that the harness is there to remove those compromises!!! AH!
@@flarfatron2190 Please, tell me how it's "better" for snare. Not feels more natural because it's what you've always done, but measurably BETTER. HS band director here, and I teach exclusively matched grip - set playing, rudimental/marching, concert snare, everything. If a kid asks about traditional, 'cause they saw it in some photo or video online, I laugh and tell them all the ways it's trash, of which there are many. So few modern traditional grip players acknowledge why it exists in the first place - old timey field drums on slings would be played with the drum angled off to the side, left higher than right. So that funky grip worked for them - it wasn't better, it just WORKED ok. Primary plusses of matched grip - transferable to all other percussion instruments, and your hands are mirror images of each other, so hold the g** d*** sticks the same way with both.
@@matthewsaxman1028 name one drum corps that uses match on their snares. Once you’ve played trad grip it feels better, and my Diddles feel cleaner. There’s less tension. It looks cooler. If kids are trying to get into dci on snare then they HAVE to have traditional grip chops. I prefer it personally, if you want to teach match grip, cool. I know actual drum techs that do. It just feels better, you’re less tense. You do you man. Edit: I mean trad grip is less tense and feels better 😃
@@flarfatron2190 I didn't say corps don't use traditional - I said traditional sucks. It looks cooler? No, it literally looks traditional. Nothing about holding a stick with one hand upside down looks "cooler". If holding a stick upside down results in better technique, why don't we do it with both hands? I still haven't heard a way that traditional is measurably, objectively better. And I won't hear one, because it isn't.
@@matthewsaxman1028 uh yeah it does look cooler, and if you want to go to the next level then yea, you should learn traditional grip. Are you a drum tech or band director, because most techs want their kids to march somewhere else, and that usually requires trad grip. If you’re one of the minority that uses match, that’s fine. I’m just saying the corps prefer it, and I personally prefer it too. Enjoy your day.
You're such a good! Think that's what makes you videos e.g. entertaining. Many phasing problems throughout & if we were judging by a real tic system angles in foot and body placement would destroy your score. Again, fun stuff!
