Oh my heart. This video is so special when Rory and Russ went to the house where Joey lived her last days I relived every moment with them. And at the end Rory playing the piano and singing him and Joey's special song, just broke my heart I cried too Rory. She was one special lady that will remain in the hearts of all that loved her. She will forever be missed and never forgotten. All my love to your family and little Indy who is so precious and such a big girl for her Papa.❤❤❤❤❤

My daughter is in another state visiting her Grandma right now, too. She goes every summer and I'm so happy they can have this special time together, like I did with my Granny when I was her age.
@@TheSeedOfChange those times spent together are indeed special. Our times together were not as often as I would have liked which made them even more special when we were together. Sometimes there, sometimes here... but always in the heart. Hopefully you and your daughter can create a memory book (or two) of special moments shared, keeping one and sending the other to her Gramma. Seems to me there is no better way to honor your love for all 4 of the special ladies in your life & Joey's memory & Indy's legacy then what you have been doing. Rory can't imagine how much you must miss her. My heart hurts for you and I miss her even though I never have met her. Watching these videos are so bitter sweet but so good to see her in them. I'm ok😪. I remember all the prayers I said for her. I had broke my back in 4 places was flat on my back and in lots of pain. I prayed for Joey and followed her story the whole time. But following her story it changed me instead. And as I continue to follow This Life I Live, I continue to find purpose in my own life. I praise God for that! I miss her so much and I never met her. But the idea of being able to meet her one day at God's banquet table thrills me. We are all God's children, He is waiting on.

Hope you are healing well. I too just recently underwent a double fusion to my back. Laying here recovering I found Rory and Indy..... he's an incredible storyteller and a man that so truly loved his wife. I've really enjoyed his channel. God bless and best of luck recovering.

God Bless Russell. You are so blessed to have a friend like him. God knew where Russell needed to be in his life. My Mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in June 2016. I took care of her for 71/2 months. I played y'all's music for her. She ws such a Godly woman and handled her illness so courageously . She set the bar high. God Bless you Rory & Indy.
Rory Feek you are a extraordinary man who just keeps pushing on and spreading joy everywhere you go. I love how Joey is always included but I must admit it's so hard to see what the world 🌎 lost. Tomorrow will be 8 months since my Husband passed. These videos...they touch my heart, and continue to give me hope. Indy ( and yourself) are so very blessed to have so many people around you who love and care for you. She ( Indy) is so very special. It's so wonderful to know that you both have that continuing relationship with Joey's family. While my heart aches still, I feel blessed to have my kids and Grands that come to see me regularly. May God continue to watch over you, Indy, Russ, and your whole family. Thank You for sharing part of your lives with all of us out here. 🙏👍

I've been in love with Rory forever. God broke the mold when he made Rory. Indiana melts my heart. She is such a precious beautiful gift to our world both from God & from Joey. Indiana is a daily reminder that the very simplest things in life.....love, happiness, smiles and God, truly are what makes the very best life!!! As well, memories of Joey bring happy tears to my heart. One of Gods greatest gifts to our world was HIS OWN creation of Joey. A beauty & beautiful soul, carved by the hands of God himself, she made our world a better place, and she left a legacy to last a lifetime. "This Life I Live" truly IS the life. In a lot of ways, Russell is more than a friend, he's a brother of your heart & to also have those memories to look back on.
To see what Bill & Gloria Gaither did for you all, is very heart warming as well.
To have Indiana able to sp thend time with her mom's family is good, especially as she is so comfortable with them. A lot of children her age would not be able to do so for a few days, let aslone two weeks. Indiana is so blessed to have you all & be so comfortable with all of you.

This visit to Indiana had to be a tough one. I’m sure there was many emotional times going through the house knowing that was the last time u were with ur true soul mate Joey. She was beautiful had a beautiful voice n even for all of us , we too miss her dearly. I’m so happy u did this n I’m sure it was hard letting Indy stay at grandma’s for two wks. Curious how did she do without Popa? I really enjoy ur videos of “This life I live”. I admire u so much n love u as a person a father a song writer a writer of books for children. Something in my heart became heavy, so full of beauty and pain...bittersweet. To see old footage of Joey was a delight...I see so much of her in Indy. What I always see is Joey being right alongside you. She's never ever far from you.

Each week I look forward Tuesdays release of "This Life I Live." This week's video was a spoon full of salt with pure honey. The saddness of Joeys finial days but the pure sweetness of family and a true friend. Russell is a hoot in thoses videos.
Your videos shows the beauty from the ashes, the Lord's love, grace and beauty in the love of you and your family and community. And the amazing way you are raising Indiana and the precious girl that she is. Also enjoy seeing the loving relationships you have with Heidi and Hopie. The love and committment you have for one another.
I have a deep respect for Joey, Indiana and you. The many of the beautiful characters of Christ Jesus you all so display. Especially the humility and gentleness that displays you are men and women of great strength.

This beautiful little girl takes my heart. I can't stop crying and then Russell makes me laugh. I saw you for the first time on CBS just after Joey had passed and I cried then too seeing what a God fearing and loving father you are.
So far I like this one the best! You are blessed to have a friend in Russell! As a grandma during this family social distancing, seeing Indy with her grandma pulled on my heartstrings and helped me to have a thankful cry. My hubby was born and raised north of Indianpolis in Mishawaka. His mom was born and raised in the hollow in Obion, TN. You can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl. She was the sweetest! My dad lived in Crossville, TN and is buried there. I haven't been back since. We like the Pacific Northwest and get back to see family in IN, but not as often as we'd like. Have a blessed day!
