It's interesting to hear him talk about the love she had and gave because anytime I watch a video of them you could always see the love exuding out from them for each other. Not an ordinary love but something that told you it was a real, true, and pure love. The kind of love you don't often see. God bless them both.

I am facing stage 4, metastatic breast cancer, first was diagnosed the same year Joey was diagnosed. I was stage 1, did chemo, radiation, and took the meds. I cried when Joey passed, but I got strength from her faith and facing a terrible disease with the peace that comes from God. Now, having a cancer, that keeps me in pain, and on 3 drugs to fight cancer for the rest of my life, which could be short, I am still finding ability to face it with strong faith and grace, we never know when Jesus calls us home, but what a glorious day that will be. I just feel sad to leave my loved ones
To you Rory, I’m glad you had the love of your life. I know Joey did as well. You both made a beautiful little girl that was conceived of love. The Lord made room for her in heaven with the rejoicing with the song angels sing. Heavenly music in which I'm sure you know the songs as you can hear her sing. So much rejoicing as she waits for you and your precious daughter. If or when you are able to walk your daughter down the aisle it may feel like your heart could burst but you will remember that love which bound you and Joey shared. Something drew me in early this morning to watch this and some other videos of Joey's beautiful angelic voice through songs. My dear sister-in-law who I have loved for over 36 years is on the verge of crossing over, and it hurts so much. Then I find that today was Joey's birthday, I don't believe this is a coincidence at all. Her spirit called upon the Lord to lead me and here I am. I love this message. Love goes on forever. Thank you, Joey.

Now after years of praying for God to send someone to love me, my new husband who is the most loving gentle thoughtful man is fighting lung cancer. When he isn't around I cry my heart out. I was watching Joey sing "When I'm gone" and your beautiful memorial to a truly beautiful lady inside and out and sobbed so hard I didn't even hear him come home. I was devastated when I heard of Joey’s passing. I followed this loving couple since Can You Duet. I always thought they would be a tremendous addition to the world of music. More than anything though I truly felt the love they shared. It was obvious a heart warming. I cannot imagine, even slightly, the loss you are feeling, Rory. Just save some of your favorite song to sing with Joey when you meet her in heaven. I pray that God has comforted you Rory, and will continue to do so until you join Joey in your mansion in Heaven. This True love story has me balling. I did not know who they were until this past October. When I had seen a video of a woman playing with her daughter at the doctors I thought they were there for her daughter ( lord pls forgive me). I had no clue what battle she was fighting I just thought it was a BEAUTIFUL video of mother and daughter. Later on about November I started seeing head lines and things my friends had shared on Facebook about this family. It absolutely broke my heart. I knew then that she was the one who was there for that doctor visit that day I first watched their video. I felt horrible. Ever since then I have been checking on her and reading Rorys blog. I cannot imagine going through any of this. I have been in tears for days as if one of my own family members has passed. I really feel heartbroken for Rory and their daughter. But then I think about her faith in God and the love she had. I wish I could be more like her. She truly had faith in Jesus. And I believe thats what kept her here for those milestones back in feb. Such an inspiration. She makes me want to love my family more with every beat of my heart. This Family has made an impression on my heart and soul. I will never forget her and her husband and Indy. They are a great example of Gods love. If you truly believe in Jesus and follow him he will take care of you every step of the way. And I did not believe that until Joey and Rorys story. The message God wanted to bring from this is already reaching so many people. Even though I dont know you personally I love you Joey Rory And Indy. I pray that God keeps his arms around you all.

I'm so sorry Rory to hear this. I kept prayers going for Joey as I did for my sister. Who sadly lost her battle with cancer a few weeks before Christmas. It all touched me deeply and, to imagine the similarities between them and what a horrific storm it's been. Like my sister, Joey too is with her lord and savior. I do it to remind myself of many things, but most of all, to remind myself about the properties of ‘Love’, beyond the here & now. Love is ETERNAL, it is INFINITE♾️
I remember seeing the interview that Bill Gaither had with Joey and Rory on his Homecoming show on television. It didn't take me long to realize that they were the REAL DEAL. By watching this video, I have a stronger and greater respect for Rory Feek. I would one day love to see him come to Cleveland to share his music with us,. I would love to shake his hand, hug his neck, and let him know that I love him in the Lord, and I have such a respect for him.

I cannot even begin to know the absolute pain, and heart breaking loss you must be feeling... Im TRULY sorry for your loss and painful suffering dealing with grief soo painful is a lonely and horribly long mind numbing hurt to endure. It feels like the whole world is passing u by, while you're still grieving.. Almost as if u feel everyone else should still be grieving , but you feel soo lonesome and hurt.. Sometimes I need to go back to this video to remind myself about Love and what it means. I truly appreciate Joey's life and Rory's stories about it. In this day and age, we all need to learn a little from this. Thank You Joey and Rory for living and documenting a wonderful story of love.
I feel so close to this as I lost my wife 4 days after our daughter turned 5. I realize she is in a better place but it still hurts and remains.
@kindinot Time doesn't heal when you're with the one you love unconditionally. My husband died 17.5 yrs ago, and time heals NOTHING....you never get over the hurt, the loss of love.....
You look at these two people and you can see real love.such a beautiful voice.i cried when I heard of her passing.you could see so much pain in that poor man's eyes. I wish the best to him and his family and they all meet joey again someday.

Truly beautiful. Just like Joey was. She was more than a great wife/mother/singer. Joey was a teacher. She reminded the world of love, grace and dignity. She taught us to be mindful of our own grace and dignity. She taught us to be humble. And renewed some of our faith in the Lord. I was devastated when I heard of Joey’s passing. I followed this loving couple since Can You Duet. I always thought they would be a tremendous addition to the world of music. More than anything though I truly felt the love they shared. It was obvious a heart warming. I cannot imagine, even slightly, the loss you are feeling, Rory. Just save some of your favorite song to sing with Joey when you meet her in heaven. I pray that God has comforted you Rory, and will continue to do so until you join Joey in your mansion in Heaven. This True love story has me balling. I did not know who they were until this past October. When I had seen a video of a woman playing with her daughter at the doctors I thought they were there for her daughter ( lord pls forgive me). I had no clue what battle she was fighting I just thought it was a BEAUTIFUL video of mother and daughter. Later on about November I started seeing head lines and things my friends had shared on Facebook about this family. It absolutely broke my heart. I knew then that she was the one who was there for that doctor visit that day I first watched their video. I felt horrible. Ever since then I have been checking on her and reading Rorys blog. I cannot imagine going through any of this. I have been in tears for days as if one of my own family members has passed. I really feel heartbroken for Rory and their daughter. But then I think about her faith in God and the love she had. I wish I could be more like her. She truly had faith in Jesus. And I believe thats what kept her here for those milestones back in feb. Such an inspiration. She makes me want to love my family more with every beat of my heart. This Family has made an impression on my heart and soul. I will never forget her and her husband and Indy. They are a great example of Gods love. If you truly believe in Jesus and follow him he will take care of you every step of the way. And I did not believe that until Joey and Rorys story. The message God wanted to bring from this is already reaching so many people. Even though I dont know you personally I love you Joey Rory And Indy. I pray that God keeps his arms around you all.

I'm so sorry Rory to hear this. I kept prayers going for Joey as I did for my sister. Who sadly lost her battle with cancer a few weeks before Christmas. It all touched me deeply and, to imagine the similarities between them and what a horrific storm it's been. Like my sister, Joey too is with her lord and savior. My thoughts and continued prayers are with you and your family, may God give you strength and comfort in the days to come.

I remember seeing the interview that Bill Gaither had with Joey and Rory on his Homecoming show on television. It didn't take me long to realize that they were the REAL DEAL. By watching this video, I have a stronger and greater respect for Rory Feek. I would one day love to see him come to Cleveland to share his music with us,. I would love to shake his hand, hug his neck, and let him know that I love him in the Lord, and I have such a respect for him.
