My depression is not cured but I have more of a handle over my emotions. My anxiety has also decreased. I’m also on antidepressants though so keep that in mind.

I do a variety. Some I learned from Alex’s meditation course and others I’ve learned from other books. I like Alex’s “what’s next” technique and also noticing the way emotional pain feels and reducing it to just a physical sensation. I also use Insight Timer and look up various meditations depending on what topic I want. I do gratitude meditations, loving kindness, body scan, and visualizations (I love guided imagery). Others too but those are my most common ones. Sometimes just breathing. Longer out breaths than in breaths affect the vagus nerve and calm down anxiety. I’m also in grad school for Psychology and have learned about meditation there too.
If youre a queen and REALLY GET this... no one can really ghost you because your the centre of your life. Yes emotions can run deep but your life is the real focus and since he left... youre in charge and hes under your mercy if he comes back. Never forget. YOU ARE IN CHARGE ❤🧚♀️ ✨️
There's worse than this. There are narcissists that ghost you , then try to come back, claiming you were right, or whatever other BS story might work. They try to come back for a year, behaving like nothing happened.
They litterally get off of playing games, and seeing how many times you're going to give them a chance. And they don't care if this way slowly but surelY they destroy your life.

I love your advice and responses to questions. If there is no contact on his part, he doesn't give a damn about you. Let it go. I worked as a paralegal for 49 years. We worked so hard for a lady and her children, getting a restraining order and hiding her. Damn I'd she didn't call the guy as soon as Court was closed from her safe house and he beat her badly and took the kids. It was really hard for everyone to undo what she did. When we say, no contact, there is a darn good reason. Thank you for helping so many ladies.

As someone that experienced using a wheelchair for months. I feel you were unfairly set up. She needed to be upfront. Not making you feel guilty/nor need to be extra observant->looking for Easter eggs she laid out but failed to mention, and then you feel guilt. She first needs to meditate on her situation, come to terms her life and realize she will meet someone suited for her if she is open and honest from the get go. Not in an almost bait and switch manner.
Personality isn't always enough to overlook physical limitations or disabilities, especially when someone hasn't had the time to develop a deeper connection yet. She brought this on herself, by already failing to be transparent. It's a giant red flag.
