I told my ex I dont wanna be friends, she then started texting me everyday I responded short and simple. Then I asked her out and we went out to eat we had a great time. After the meet up I kept doing NC and she kept texting me everyday. This was like 2 weeks or more of daily texting from her. 3 days ago she stopped texting me and im wondering why? Does she think I have to also initiate or she was just using me for attention?
She was texting you and met up meaning you got your ex back, now by not responding she’s thinks/believes your not interested , you should be responding to meaningful texts - added extra you’ve dumped her now so if you want her back you’ve got to make the first move now
You were not doing NC if you asked her out... If she contacts you during NC, your replies are to be polite, short, and sweet. No "I miss you's" or any of that crap. You can't give any indication that the breakup bothers you anymore, in fact you want to give the impression that you're doing great. You only get together after she indicates that she regrets the breakup, and only if SHE asks YOU out. NEVER ask a girl out who has dumped you, that's HER job if she wants to get you back. By asking her out even though she doesn't regret the breakup, you inadvertently agreed to be in her friend zone. But now that you started doing NC and ignoring her AFTER your friend zone date, she sees that you are serious about not being friends, and has stopped trying to friend zone you. If she really wants to get back together she'll let you know, and if not that means she was only interested in being buddies.
Be prepared for any and all reactions from the dumper when you "the Dumpee" walks away. Their ego may cause them to start a cat n mouse game, or coolishly act like you can just date , be just friends, or just be friends with benefits. Honesty may be futile if they can't be trusted and just don't qualify high enough to be a true companion of any type. Love yourself by the way.
