- Today I show you and talk Abit about my new 2007 Kawasaki Ninja 500r, and explain how to remove the mufflers.
The mufflers are temporary, and unless I tune the carbs, I may purchase slip ons or reinstall the big cans.
Have a question? Do ask! Авто/Мото
Just bought a 2006 in kawasaki green. 5600 miles on the clock stored in. A garage by an old man. Still has original tires on it and they look new. Definately replacing those but this bike is perfect. Local dealer rebuilt the carbs, adjusted the valves and changed the oil. Almost ready to go. I paid 1500 bucks.
Nice score!!!!
Nice!! I paid 2200 delivered to my house as round the same mileage, one week later my friend crashed it and then couple weeks later I layed it down myself am glad i did not buy a brand new motorcycle to learn on.
Just got the exact same, 2003 ninja 500 in MINT condition with og factory paperwork 8800 miles, $2200. Not too bad for these Joe Biden prices nowadays, I’m stoked.
Do you remember how much the valve adjustment was? I get a little pop on startups sometimes and it kinda has a cool growl noise at 4-5k but stock exhaust and only 5000km on it, it’s an 88 so it creaks and makes 80s noises so who knows.
This was my first bike! A 2007. Had so many great rides.
Muy buena modificación 👍🏼/ very good modification my buddy
😂😂I lost it when he said he realized he was tightening it lol because I was preparing to talk crap about it in the comments... none the less nice video bro!
Love these bikes. Mine had a full Muzzy exhaust. Sounded large due to the big headpipe. Even with big mufflers the headpipes make most of them sound similar and frappy.
That’s an awesome color man
Thank you! It's really different than the bikes around my town.
OooOOh DAMN! A Ninja Fi-Hunid! I always have a soft spot for these...... not a puny 250 motor, but a 500 motor that gets you enough speed and is easy enough to ride as a beginner! Love it, SON!
Lmao a well tuned 250 haul ass wtf u saying . I easily outrun traffic if I want to , granted is not a 600 but if you keep it withing the powerband you will get that speed.
@@kenshi600fully tuned and built 250 and even 300 be left behind at meetups by bikes😢
Bro what size exhaust did u get for them? I’m looking for a set for my bike
I can feel that exhaust flowing through my chest
It did with me too haha. It was too much for me. I can't handle the Harley life
That sounds awesome I'm actually getting the same tips and u r the only person I found doing that exhaust mine is a 2001 green and carbon fiber but sweet bike if u have face book look up Curtis Harrington I'd like talk more
How does it keep up with newer 400s and 650s I goto bike meets and want one of these instead of the 300 I have just sold
Just copped that Ninja 500 what are those Mufflers? I could use some of those
How’s my milameters is the pipe so I know what pipes will fit on the bike thanks
gotta 2011 with 5k miles, was already crashed twice once by my dad and once by my brother, so now the clutch is partly stuck and the throttle is very touchy and engine breaks hard as soon as i let off the throttle, so much so that I barely have to use the actual breaks
I got a 2005 where can u find fairings for it?
Loud pipes save lives

Lol
I just bought a 2006 in Kawasaki green.
Your gonna love it. I highly recommend if it isn't already changed , to replace the front turn signals with flush turn signals
I bought a green 2006 500 today!
If your neighbor's can stomach the decibels, and you can live with the narrow power band even after the re-jet, by all means. Like Porsche peashooter tips, only tighten the fasteners after you fully warm the engine, otherwise there will be a chance you'll lose them.
Good advice! And Believe it or not, not as much power loss as you'd expect :)
@@Don.of. Wasn't saying you'd have a power loss, just a narrowing of the power band which is common in instances where the pipe length is lost due to a shorter silencer.
Where can I get those pipes you put on ? I done with the stocks there to quite and I want to be heard when I pass.
I purchased mine on Amazon!
How would I look it up so I know I get the right ones and don’t come out with some thats are not the ones I want .
Sorry for the delay friend, here is the direct link to the product

I like the look. I've got a 2001 ninja 500 with the dual exhaust and I would like to do something like this. How much louder is it compared to when it was stock??
It's straight pipe. Very loud. I've since decided to go a different route. I'll have a video tomorrow on the lowdown
@@Don.of. cool I'll check it out
Nice, but at least get a four season cover if you cant bring it inside.
My bike came with pipes like that. Mines a 2001
Does anyone know What year is this is
2007 EX500 :)
I just put these on my bike a week ago I love them it makes my bike sound like a hog
I like the look hate the sound
Sounds the same as no silencer. Only in the US of A.
Merica 😎
@@Don.of. I have one and also fitted with the tasteful original silencers. Every US ninja 500 I see has mostly been ruined with cheap add on tatt.
@@johna6968 I feel attacked haha. I put some cheap ones on mine. But come spring Im reverting back.
@@Don.of. Good man
@@Don.of. As I've aged a bit I've grown to enjoy a bit of quiet on long rides. But I still enjoy a good sounding exhaust.
You go speed racer. Looks and sounds ridiculous.
Thanks Ken, will do :D
Too loud for every day use.
For sure. I didn't run it for very long myself either haha. The bikes changed alot since then too. Lost the key, and still working to get a delkevic exhaust lol I've shown in a previous video.
If u end up selling them I'd buy them off u
Great bike turned into noisy garbage
Co za gówno! oryginalne brzmią na prawdę dobrze.
