I'd like to see more Hungry Howie's pizza near me as well as more Popeye's. Although it's surprising Little Caesars is listed. We used to have several in our area, and now we only have like 1. :( But Jersey Mikes is THE best sub shop around IMHO. Even tho they are a bit pricey - they are better quality than Subway. Firehouse Subs is a close 2nd. Also I love MOD pizza as well. I wish we'd get some Wienerschnitzels & In - N - Out here in the Southeastern US (specifically NC).
Little Caesars financial issues were more due to having been tied to K-mart and that anchor dragging down a lot of their franchises and corporate flexibility. Concur completely on Jersey Mike's, had a co-worker turn me on to them back in 2016 and they are consistently excellent. The new portabella mushroom additions to the cheesesteak options made awesome sandwiches even better. I'm not a giant fan of firehouse, but I'm wondering if it's just I haven't tried the right things yet. We'll agree to disagree on in-n-out. I've had it on the west coast multiple times, and while I don't hate it or anything crazy, I find it very meh, and their fries in my opinion are complete crap, but some of that may be that I hate shoestring cut fries in general. I'll stick to my five guys and shake shack.
I think they're under playing the growth of MOD Pizza, it said they plan on 30 new locations over the next several years but since 2017 it's gone from 200 locations to now over 500. Over the next several years I would be surprised if they weren't over 1,000 locations.
Went to a MOD pizza restaurant and by far the worst pizza I've ever had. A small personal size pizza with hardly anything on it was like $12. Not even your typical crust, super thin and crunchy like a cracker.
MOD pizza is horrible! It is flavorless as a result of being overly salty and the pizza doesn't bake correctly if toppings are piled on it. Onions, bell pepper, and mushrooms make it soggy. I feel bad for you if this is your only pizza option along with the other horrible chain pizzas.
Shake shack ,jollie bee ,raising canes , Jersey mikes, Wendy’s,moD pizza, del taco, firehouse subs, great things coming from places that work hard at it to make it.
Shake Shack has some of the most excellent and sublime burgers and fries that I’ve ever eaten and I’m a huge Five Guys and Fuddrucker’s fan. BTW I live in Texas which is Whataburger country (642 locations just in the Lone Star state alone). Raising Cane’s is excellent, as is Firehouse Subs.
MOD Pizza opened in the midwest near me a few years ago. It's okay. Pi Five was the same thing but better; unfortunately both of their locations in my county closed quickly.
Love Taco Casa. They seem to be popping up all around. What happened to that good fish/chicken place? Can’t remember the name, but loved it too. The one with the little crumbles under the fish.
i think you are talking about Long John Silvers restaraunt. They used to be so good. Lately a lot of there stores have been shutting down due to poor quality. I am hoping Taco Caso comes in my area soon. I am really wanting to try it out
I am in Indianapolis and Cheesecake Factory has gone downhill lately. The food is so bland now. I have heard a lot of good reviews about JoliBee's so I am interested in giving it a try.
@@MsTwiththeTea1980 The jolly bees near me as pure trash trust me there’s nothing special about that chain whatsoever KFC is better than them that’s how bad they are
That Cheesecake Factory is like $30 for the cheapest item on the menu. This was just the single time I went to one in the 2000's and left without buying a thing. With inflation that $30 is now $45--$50. It was in Jake and Josh, so my brother wanted to go there not knowing at age 12--13 the price was expensive
Jollibee’s fried chicken is amazing. Million times better than KFC in my opinion. Also their spaghetti is a great addition to have with the chicken and gravy.
Drive-Thru service is the worst thing that has ever happened to any restaurant! Almost all restaurants that has drive thru giving priority service to the drive thru whereas people dining in or outside get low par service and long wait times. I hate restaurants with drive-thrus and I avoid them with a passion! (Edited for grammar)
you are absolutely right. it is a loose -loose situation. in drive thru they are rushing you and if you go inside you dont get polite service like you used to back in the day
there's one fast food joint here in just within 100 m from the house, i can just walk there. now we only need a wendy's, burger king, domino's and re-open the 7-11 store
Shake Shack has become a mainstay here in NJ and NY. I like their crinkle cut fries. Lots of Jersey Mike's where I am, but the local mom & pop places where I live make a better Philly cheesesteak sandwich.
Just had my first Whataburger, it was just ok. Same thing I thought about In and Out. My favourite burger is actually the garlic butter burger from Steak and Shake.
Yeah that’s cool and all, but the issue with most all restaurants including sandwich shops and the entire gambit is running out of vital ingredients like bread. Certain meat . Can’t wait to try some of these awesome sounding places. Hope they have what I want on the menu. Thanks for the video. They’re all great.
I went to Jersey Mikes for the first time the other day and I was blown away at how expensive they were and for how little options they had. Its no different than Jimmy Johns it seems like besides that they make some of their sandwiches hot. The sub was OK but def not worth the price tag.
This was my first impression. Not sure what all the hype is, the sandwich was decent but WAY overpriced. Feeding 3 ppl at a sandwich shop shouldn't cost 50 bucks..
I live in Oklahoma, and we've had Whataburger in my hometown since at least 1975, so it's not just a "Texas thing". Having said that, I'm surprised Texas and Oklahoma are the only two states they've been at since they first began whenever McDonalds did in the 1950s. On the downside, we've lost two of our local Wendy's and now have to travel further to find one. Would like to see more Dairy Queens again. They all but disappeared in Oklahoma City 20 years ago, and have slowly made a comeback, but not near where I live. Would like to have a footlong chili dog and a Blizzard once again like I remember in the 80s when I used to go off campus from high school to enjoy them
One overlooked chain that I want to see expand is Krystal's a brand that is only in limited southern states. It's like White Castle (serving mini hamburgers) but I think their quality surpasses White Castle. Not to mention that they make your food to order. They don't cook a bunch of stuff and set it aside like most fast food restaurants. They make your meals when you order it so it's super fresh every time. It takes a while for them to make your food but it's so worth the wait.
Krystal’s is kind of like if a hobo with active sores and lesions ran a White Castle. The low quality to the stench. To the leaking sores on the workers hands arms and necks.
right next to your comment is a video reccomendation, "10 worst fast food chain in the country" and the thumbnail is a picture of krystals. Ive never been so I have no input but my recommendations really disagree with you
Liked the video mainly for the Sean Ely cameo in the Firehouse ad. Shoutout to Number Six With Cheese. As for the featured brands, Little Caesars, MOD, and Firehouse are all excellent and hope to see more of them. But Jersey Mike’s is the best on this list, hands down. Highest quality chain sub shop by a mile.
I'd love a Whataburger in Bloomington Indiana. Raising Canes will open in a couple months near the IU campus. We have a Joella's that is nearly always empty as they are about 50 yards from a ChickFilA and across the street from a KFC.
As a Texan, I'll say I've been eating Whataburger since I was a wee one (about 30+ yrs) aaaaaand...ummmm...The quality has definitely gone down, albeit SLOWLY. I mean, it's not horrible, it's just...Ehhhh, idk. I feel like when these companies "corporatize", the quality tends to suffer, soooo... Prove me wrong, Whataburger! If ANYTHING, I feel like Burger Street & Braum's should expand... Some of y'all don't know about Braum's, but those who know KNOW. 😏
It's because they're not using Nolan Ryan's beef and everything is Corporate made not in house. They're using clone beef just like everyone else does that's why it's taste bad no flavor.
Jollibee is already failing in Texas! Raising Canes does not have the variety and their sauce is so monotonous! Jersey Mike’s is one phenomenon that will succeed as long as quality and consistency of their offerings. Little Caesar are not going any where, talk is cheap it doesn’t open restaurants. Whataburger needs to up their game! Not doing so good since sold to a private company! Yea right Wendy’s good luck! Del Tacos in Texas will not survive 🤣 Run Down Jack in the Box or the other way around. Firehouse subs have my vote, more power to them. Quality and consistency!
dang, sorry to hear about Jolibee, i was really wanting to try this. I love Zaxbys because of all the different sauces. I still want to try Rasing Canes but i definitely need them to open up there horizons and add some more sauces.
@@MsTwiththeTea1980 Raising Cane's is more better than Zaxby's hands down and if I was you I will tell them substitute the coleslaw for more fries and tell him that you want your chicken crispy and trust me this is a game changer
Oh yeah Whataburger went downhill after being bought from the Chicago firm plus their meat isn't Nolan Ryan's meat it's some cheap knock-off me. Everything has just gone down with service. The fries taste like honestly cardboard and a chicken is not tender and juicy it's just awful honestly. On the weekend long lines and now there's a few cars. It's a tragedy
I won't see any of these near me. My town has 2 blocks of sidewalk and one stop sign. There's one pizza place open from 11am-8pm, one sit down restaurant open 6am-2pm, a convenience store with a crappy deli, a walk up burger place open 2-5pm and a deli in the market that closes at 6pm. They're all struggling to survive because of their high prices. $23 for a medium pizza, $8 for a walkup burger, $8.50 for a teriyaki chicken thigh and sticky rice at the convenience store and $7.99 a pound at the market deli in a state where min wage is $12.50 and a 1 bdr is $950 a month. The nearest chain fast food joint is 10 miles away. I've had fast food twice in the last 5 years. I don't miss it.
If Whataburger wants to expand again, they better make sure that their restaurants outside of Texas are better run. Last time I tried them back around 15 years ago in Valdosta GA, I remember the service being extremely poor and the food of a very low quality which turned me off of ever trying them again until the restaurant eventually shut down a few years later.

If the only way I'll be able to get a baconator is if it comes from a ghost kitchen, I guess I'll just have to wait until Deliveroo says Wendy's is in my area. For context, I live in the UK and my nearest Wendy's is around a 2 hour drive away
Hello Lauren
Great video here, and I like all these places, and my favorite is Culver’s, which sadly didn’t make it on the video.
Oh wow, I have no idea that Jack in the Box had purchased Del Taco. Coincidentally, the Del Taco that I frequented in my childhood also had a Jack in the Box right across the street from it.
I am 1 of those Who wants to try every single Chain out there! When I travel out of the Region like Recent Florida trip in Middle of January 2022, I went to places like Cluver's to Captain D's to Cheddar's Which I Don't have in my region. Closest Cheddar's not even in my transit System. But a Cheddar's near my grandfather's is just 1 Bus ride from his place!
It is a blessing and a curse to have travelled and tried great chains that never open up back home in Washington State!!
i agree with you. i love to travel and want to try every single restaraunt. It has been a while since i have ate at Cheddars, i love Culvers and still waiting to try Captain D's
I'd like to see more Hungry Howie's pizza near me as well as more Popeye's. Although it's surprising Little Caesars is listed. We used to have several in our area, and now we only have like 1. :(
But Jersey Mikes is THE best sub shop around IMHO.
Over the next several years I would be surprised if they weren't over 1,000 locations.
i am hoping MOD pizza continues to grow. Right now i only have one in my location. we definitely need more.
Jersey mikes ingredients taste so much fresher than any sub place I’ve been. Highly recommend.
SoCal has these already. What we need is a Whataburger though, i forgot what it tastes like but i still welcome it
i am still dying to try Whataburger. I want to know what it taste like.
Our Firehouse Subs is always empty.
my Firehouse Subs shop is always empty as well.
Good they suck and are too slow.
Shake shack ,jollie bee ,raising canes , Jersey mikes, Wendy’s,moD pizza, del taco, firehouse subs, great things coming from places that work hard at it to make it.
yes, i am so excited, food makes me happy
Shake Shack has some of the most excellent and sublime burgers and fries that I’ve ever eaten and I’m a huge Five Guys and Fuddrucker’s fan. BTW I live in Texas which is Whataburger country (642 locations just in the Lone Star state alone). Raising Cane’s is excellent, as is Firehouse Subs.
Bring shake shack to OC please!! 😍❤️🍻
I am in the Midwest (Indiana) and I love Shake Shack and Five Guys. Firehouse Subs is a good sub place. I am still wanting to try Fuddruckers.
Five Guys is nasty.
@@chrissyellem7397 The ones in San Antonio are good.
Try Cullvers if there isn't a Shake Shack nearby - almost as good as Shake Shack - and the best shakes bar none
MOD Pizza opened in the midwest near me a few years ago. It's okay. Pi Five was the same thing but better; unfortunately both of their locations in my county closed quickly.
Jersey Mikes is seriously underrated!! They have a great sandwich.
Thanks for the video
We already have a What-a-burger in a few places in NC, but it's a completely different thing than Whataburger. It would totally confuse everyone here.
When I moved to NC I thought it was a Whataburger, I drove there and it was an old burger shack I was pissed
Yeah, there was a whole court case about it. Everything got settled though.
I'd like to see a Jack in the Box in Orlando as well as a Jollibees.
I'm in WA State wish Whataburger was here I go every visit to Texas, I loved the In God We Trust on their window in Dallas.
All these new locations….now, time to find people who will work.
exactly. all these places need employees. we are having trouble staffing the restaurants we have now.
No one I can't even imagine working at these places.
I am really wanting to try it out
Taco casa? I haven't heard that name in years 🤤
Taco Casa is the original Taco Bell menu and recipes, so good!
Hello Dorothy
Freddy's Steakburgers are popping up everywhere as well...
Wendys also needs to get her plant based options up... but the lemonades do be good
Yes their peach lemonade is perfect
Wendy's is my favorite.
We got a Shake Shack 2 years ago here in Sacramento,CA - sooooo good!😊🍔
firehouse subs is literally life changing!! and the cane's sauce from Raising Cane's is bussin bussin
El Pollo Loco needs to start expanding, like these chains.
Please JolliBee's come to Pooler, GA. We're one of the fastest growing cities in Georgia. Also we need the Cheesecake Factory.
I am in Indianapolis and Cheesecake Factory has gone downhill lately. The food is so bland now. I have heard a lot of good reviews about JoliBee's so I am interested in giving it a try.
@@MsTwiththeTea1980 The jolly bees near me as pure trash trust me there’s nothing special about that chain whatsoever KFC is better than them that’s how bad they are
@@walterwhite1 oh wow
That Cheesecake Factory is like $30 for the cheapest item on the menu. This was just the single time I went to one in the 2000's and left without buying a thing. With inflation that $30 is now $45--$50. It was in Jake and Josh, so my brother wanted to go there not knowing at age 12--13 the price was expensive
@@caseysmith544 I used to love going to The Cheesecake Factory. The food was so good. Now it just tastes processed
Del taco needs to add locations, it’s hard moving away from it. Those chicken burritos and burgers are amazing!
Jolie Bees and Del Taco... Come to Virginia!!! 🍗🌮❤
Not only that they get the order wrong so now you have to go inside anyway!!🤣
you are absolutely right. it is a loose -loose situation. in drive thru they are rushing you and if you go inside you dont get polite service like you used to back in the day
Exactly
I agree, but that became my default take-out when the pandemic hit. It really would have been nice to have more places with walk-up windows.
It is 2022 any fast food restaurant or RX with out Drive-Thru service will suffer to even stay in business.
Good luck with the staffing. I haven't been to any business recently that hasn't been understaffed.
The Little Ceasers in my town is a drug den, Its so bad we dont go there at all. Super scary
yes, we have some Little Ceasers restaraunts in some shady neighborhoods. There are only a few locations i will go to.
Thanks for the tip, heading there now
@@jimmybuckets5863 enjoy
We have 2 Little Caesars and one is right next door to a pot shop lol
@@jimmybuckets5863 Hahaha!!
Del Taco would have to change their taco meat recipe for me to go anywhere near it!
aww man i had big hopes fofr Del Taco. I still might give it a try, just to get it off my bucket list
My bf used to get the chicken tacos but he would get sick every dang time and I put a stop to it. No more Del Taco.
or Cook it all the way, I got sick off the meat in 2014 going to one in Lompoc California.
I can't wait to see more of Dave's Hot Chicken ❤
i am really wanting to try Dave's Hot Chicken
@@MsTwiththeTea1980 If they're in your city you def should :)
@@dianag.5652 thanks 😊
Hello Diana
there's one fast food joint here in just within 100 m from the house, i can just walk there. now we only need a wendy's, burger king, domino's and re-open the 7-11 store
Grilled chicken sandwich.
I'll walk barefoot across the street to go get that..Im not good at crossing carpet so I'm serious)
At whataburger what did you get?
Great choice! I think Steak N Shake has the best burgers.
aww, i am still wanting to try Whataburger. I have not yet tried In and Out burger, and i love Steak and Shake.
@@MsTwiththeTea1980 I haven't tried steak and shake so we both need to TRAVEL
Yeah that’s cool and all, but the issue with most all restaurants including sandwich shops and the entire gambit is running out of vital ingredients like bread. Certain meat . Can’t wait to try some of these awesome sounding places. Hope they have what I want on the menu. Thanks for the video. They’re all great.
I love WhatABurger, so glad Tennessee is getting one!!!
I live in washington... Mod pizza is bussin... It's like.... Subway but better ingredients and making a pizza... So good
now we just need a WAWA in albuquerque. its the one thing I REALLY miss from PA/NJ. I miss wawa so much it hurts. I would kill for a wawa
Wawa sucks bro
You know Raising Cane's is legit when they only got 2 items on the menu and people still cant get enough lol. the fingers and the sandwich
Firehouse & Jersey Mike's is too expensive. I love Tubby's Submarines !
Unbelievably expensive
I love going to smaller chain restaurants and giving them a chance. I would love to try this Tubby Sub place.
They suck and Firehouse takes 40 minutes! to get a sandwich. I hate them.
@@chrissyellem7397 they are the best...hands down
@@sachsgs2509 She's obviously been traumatized by JM in some way! lol
I recently went to Firehouse Subs for the first time and it was awesome..⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐....my sandwich was great..and.they support first responders too. 👍
Have you seen Subway' s prices? Whatta joke!
Ive never been so I have no input but my recommendations really disagree with you
C'mon Jollibee! Come to western AZ!!!
Del Taco can suxit!
Raising Cane's dynamite!!! Crinkle cut fries, you can't go wrong!!!
Del Taco is good shit I used to eat it in California. What ever happened to el Pollo Loco that place was my favorite
Just because it did well during the pandemic doesn’t mean it will do well after everything opens as regularly it did prior.
I didn't know MOD pizza started here but I've always loved it. I tried Blaze pizza last summer in MI and it's pretty similar.
Little ceasers used to deliver pizza back when the first opened in the 50s in garden city mi
I just saw that a Rasing Canes was coming to a spot in Times Square! They better put one in the Bronx!!!
I delivered for Little Ceasars nearly 30 years ago, in Lansing Mi.
I'd love a Whataburger in Bloomington Indiana. Raising Canes will open in a couple months near the IU campus. We have a Joella's that is nearly always empty as they are about 50 yards from a ChickFilA and across the street from a KFC.
Perhaps Del Tacos' best kept secret is a burger that's almost as good as In-N-Out. It'll really surprise you.
Gonna have to make a mental note of that, good lookin out fam
i do not have a Del Taco in my area but i have heard good things about the restaraunt. looking forward to trying this out
The burger slaps for sure
Man the double del should always be in the top 5... del taco for a burger might sound strange but it is worth it
Del Taco's best kept secret is the Bun Taco.
Oh man Burger Street is incredible. Love whataburger but I'd choose Burger Street over them a thousand times
Whataburger was something "only Texans knew about"? It was in 20% of the states before the sale occured......
You hit everything on the head honestly but Raising Cane's is good and fire house is awesome.
@@Antonjlavey this comment is really making me want to take that drive and get me some Raising Canes😁
I hope Jollibee is opened closer, I am interested in trying it. I live in south Texas. The locations in Texas are up state.
Um excuse me there are no more littles Caesar's pizza chains here in Pennsylvania
They closed them all down 😭
Oh wow, we still have Little Ceasers in the Midwest, they have went down hill but they are still trying to make a comeback.
I know of 3 within 5 miles of where i live..on the outskirts of Pittsburgh
Firehouse Subs great food.
Yuck.
Can't wait to see more of them here in Portland Oregon
I’m shocked how Culver’s isn’t mentioned!
